Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan was arrested Monday at the Capitol for disorderly conduct, shortly after saying she would run against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over the California Democrat’s refusal to try to impeach President Bush.

July 20th is a holiday of sorts in Germany, a day of remembrance of the plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler. This is not a Fourth of July type of holiday it is more akin to Veterans Day, a day of reflection and atonement. President Bush just had some polyps removed from his colon. We all knew he had SOMETHING up his hind end, but thought it was a stick. Now the danger is over. Not the danger of cancer, but the danger of having Dick Cheney as President.
