Fascism only occurs with the LACK of an organized opposition. When you know about PNAC, you know these bastards have been planning these wars et al for a long time. OF course they knew there would be widespread opposition, so they also planned (planted) the opposition.
Consider DemocraticUnderground, after 5 years of BushCo Disaster Capitalism (create a disaster, then capitalize on it), and 80,000 DUers on the case, wouldn’t you think they’d have a virtual encyclopedia of Bush’s Crimes? (…)

WILLIAM F . BUCKLEY’S "APOLOGY" : RETURN TO SENDER
10 March 2006I read with great amusement of news conservative "icon" William F. Buckley has now admitted that Operation Iraqi Freedom was a big mistake. It takes a Yale man 3 years to discern that obvious conclusion while the rest of us , the great unwashed , figured out the plot before the massacre commenced. Buckley disingenuously claims Der Fuhrer didn’t place enough boots on the ground to subdue Iraq’s restive masses ..... Such malarkey ..... 80 -90 % of the people of Iraq (…)

LAUGHING JACKASS AND SINISTER SECRETARY
10 March 2006LAUGHING JACKASS AND SINISTER SECRETARY
By Peter Fredson
March 10, 2006
Looking at the TV news yesterday I was struck by two separate views. One was of George Bush signing a document. He had a big grin on his face, and was obviously ecstatic with his success, badly needed after several months of falling polls. Why did that puzzle me?
First the Republican Senators gave Bush the ability to commit the most outrageous attack on civil rights ever perpetrated in this country against our (…) -
USEFUL TRAITS FOR A PRESIDENT
9 March 2006USEFUL TRAITS FOR A PRESIDENT
By Peter Fredson
March 9, 2006
It is difficult to find exactly what presidents do. They interact with other humans constantly, using speech as their main tool, attempting to solve social and economic problems by getting other people to do the actual physical or social tasks they recommend, with a reputation based mainly on success in their endeavors. Some are rewarded handsomely with lavish living arrangements, social rituals, servants, and certain (…) -

Grounds for Impeachment
9 March 2006George W. Bush and his Administration have been so brazen in violating the law and asserting monarchical powers that we, as American citizens, must use the tool that the Constitution provides to reassert our rights, to reset the system of checks and balances, and to reestablish our democracy. That tool is impeachment.
Article II, Section 4, states: “The President, Vice President, and all civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, (…) -

THE BUSH /CHENEY DICKTATORSHIP : NIXON ON STEROIDS (PART ONE)
9 March 2006Here were some of the charges proffered by the US House Judiciary Committee against President Richard Nixon in July 1974 . Accompanying that charge is a similar and often far greater act of presidential malfeasance committed by those two untouchables , President George W. Bush and Vice President Richard B. Cheney ....... 1 ) From Article One 1974 : making false or misleading statements to lawfully authorised investigative officers... of the United States / 2006 : Cheney (…)

Is Bush Spying on His Political Opponents?
9 March 2006With the Rove machine in full blast demonizing anyone who dares speak out against the noble and necessary "Terrorist Surveillance Program", it becomes more clear that Democrats need to strike back. Instead of merely saying that the spying program is illegal and unwarranted, the Dems need to question Bush’s intent. He, of course, says that the purpose of the program is to stop terrorist attacks from occurring on US soil. Democrats need to respond by questioning this intent and push the fact (…)
