I read with great amusement of news conservative "icon" William F. Buckley has now admitted that Operation Iraqi Freedom was a big mistake. It takes a Yale man 3 years to discern that obvious conclusion while the rest of us , the great unwashed , figured out the plot before the massacre commenced. Buckley disingenuously claims Der Fuhrer didn’t place enough boots on the ground to subdue Iraq’s restive masses ..... Such malarkey ..... 80 -90 % of the people of Iraq despised the Anglo-American invasion from the very start. Any genius such as icon Buckley surely knew the British received a similiar warm reception when they grabbed Iraq’s oil in the last century. Yet the March of Folly was not be denied. Israel and her wolf -pack demanded war . Result : Congress and Bush obeyed orders. Another result : Shill Buckley directed a radical change in his "conservative" magazine , National Review. The babbling free trade Tory aristocrats and Polish viscounts were supplanted by savage war-mongering neocons spewing forth the most incredble array of lies since men starting rubbing sticks together to produce fire. .... You lied us into war Buckley.... Go to Iraq . Look into the eyes of a DU-poisoned child dying of leukemia - the direct consequence of the lies promulgated in NR, The Weekly Standard and Judith Miller’s New York Times. .... Apologize to their parents. They are human beings . They love their children . They just wanted to be left alone , live in peace. But no , your wolf-pack demaded liberation - of their oil fields. .... How can one understand this Buckley ? He gives free rein to war-mongers .... War comes..... 200,000 + are dead .... Now the master denies ownership of his Hell Hounds ?

I think Buckley’s statements are part of a plan of controlled opposition. The repukes and the democraps know that the people want out of this war, and hate them for selling out our country . . . an ingenious response to that reality is to have some very controlled people (like bonesman Buckley) come out with the obvious opposition, and they try to lead the opposition towards an end of their chosing. These people are failing, yes, but they are not going away, and they are not changing their plans. They will very likely want to bring us all down with them.
