Winds of Change
The warming winds of true democracy have been spreading from the tip of Patagonia to the shores of the Rio Grande, traversing all lands in between, with the will of the People trumping the wishes of the Empire. These winds carry within them elections of hope and fury, marked by loud voices and uncompromised ballots, devoid of charades and mirages, lacking Diebold electronic voting machines and corporate media manipulation. "Who, me?" My interview with Resident Bush
8 February 2006Villy: Mr.Bush, I understand your friend Kenneth Lay, whom you call "Kenny Boy",is going to trial shortly for criminal actions.
Bush: First, he’s no friend. I’m not sure I ever met him. And I didn’t call him "Kenny Boy", what I’m sure I said was "Any Toy" when asked what my nephew wanted for Christmas. The Press always twists these things.
Villy: Well, let me ask you about Duke Cunningham.
Bush: Who?
Villy: OK. Well how about Jack Abramoff? I understand he visited you many times. (…) -
TALE OF A CONNECTICUT DONKEY
8 February 2006By Sheila Samples
"Every senator in this chamber is partly responsible for sending 50,000 young Americans to an early grave. This chamber reeks of blood...It does not take any courage at all for a congressman, or a senator, or a president to wrap himself in the flag and say we are staying in Vietnam, because it is not our blood that is being shed. But we are responsible for those young men and their lives and their hopes." Senator George McGovern, Sept 1, 1970

WHO JUDGES THE JUDICIARY?
8 February 2006WHO JUDGES THE JUDICIARY?
By Peter Fredson
February 7, 2006
When I heard that the Senate Judiciary Committee was going to “investigate” President Bush’s arrogant claims of being above the law, and signing statements that he could pick and choose which laws he might observe, I worried about the partisanship of the committee. On previous occasions all the Republican Senators tried their best to hamper, trivialize, distract, and obfuscate any attempts to implicate the imperial President (…) -

What Kind of Damage The Julland Posen Newspaper Has Done
8 February 2006As you all know that Islam and Muslims respect all religions and the means of media in Islamic countries did not contempt any religion. That respect is a basic rule in Islam, as can be concluded from many verses in the holly Quraan, For example the verse 108 says:- . The Danish newspaper (Jyllands Posten ) exposed to Islam and prophet Mohammed in insolent and sarcasm method. If one recalls that , according to Islamic faith, drawing images of the prophet is not allowed he can imagine (…)

NUTTY BOLTON DEPLOYED TO NAIL "ATOMIC IRAN "
8 February 2006The Bush/Cheney administration was hell bent for leather to install John Bolton as US Ambassador to the Unites nations A dear friend of Judith Miller , Bolton is a man who has publicly expressed his desire that several stories of the UN Building cease to exist from the the face of the Earth. By Peter Fredson
February 7, 2006
We are at War. Terror is lurking in every corner to destroy American cities, factories, and people. It is those crazy fanatical Muslims that are to blame. They hate democracy, liberty and Americans.
We don’t know why they hate us so much. Our President is doing his courageous best to cope with this terrible danger for everybody.
Yet he has critics with niggling objections to his determined strategy of fighting Muslims where they live (…) -
Back to back, belly to belly at the Zombie Jamboree
7 February 2006We who are on the left in America are dumbfounded (as, I suppose, are many citizens in other countries), by the indifference and apathy by a healthy percentage of our fellow countrymen when it comes to challenging the destructive politics of the Bush Administration.
I suppose it is just human nature not to focus on government actions which we feel...often correctly..we cannot change. But there is a tipping point, and I believe we’ve reached it.
On the one hand we have the zombie hoards, (…)
