Au fil des heures qui passent, la réalité s’impose à nous. De nouveaux chiffres, toujours plus élevés, s’affichent sur l’écran, et je me dis que cela devait être la même terrible expérience pour nos amis au Pakistan et en Haïti, qui souffrent encore aujourd’hui du désastre naturel dont ils ont été victimes.

La compagnie Tepco avait refusé d’assurer le site en raisons de "tarifs trop élevés".
Voilà une information qui va faire désordre. La société japonaise Tepco (Tokyo Electric Power) qui détient et exploite la centrale nucléaire de Fukushima avait refusé d’assurer le site à proprement parler ainsi que les 6 réactions nucléraires qui menacent depuis plusieurs jours d’entrer en fusion.
Des tarifs jugés trop élevés
Ainsi, la centrale japonaise ne serait plus assurée depuis le mois d’août (…) -

Nous mentirait-on depuis plusieurs jours en affirmant que l’enceinte du réacteur « semble » toujours étanche. Et qu’au contraire, les fumées que l’on n’a cessé de voir se dégager puis disparaître, puis revenir au-dessus de ce réacteur, sont en train de relarguer quasi en continu dans l’atmosphère des produits de fission – dont du plutonium, issus d’un cœur largement dégradé (peut-être à 100%) ?

Il n’y a pas de seuil pour les effets cancérigènes et les effets génétiques : toute dose de rayonnement aussi faible soit-elle comporte un risque. Dire que les doses de radioactivité relevées à Tokyo et sur d’autres sites situés à l’extérieur de la zone des 30 km "demeurent éloignées des niveaux etc... en d’autres termes, elles ne seraient pas dangereuses pour la santé humaine" est totalement faux. Le tsunami qui a dévasté les côtes du nord-est du Japon à la suite d’un violent séisme le 11 mars a atteint une hauteur d’au moins 23 mètres, selon une étude japonaise citée aujourd’hui par le quotidien Yomiuri Shimbun, rapporte l’AFP.
