Thousands protest Iraq War on Oct. 28
On Oct. 28, thousands of people in the United States protested the Iraq War in a day of action initiated by the ANSWER Coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism). Militant protests happened in numerous cities and towns across the country with more than 5,000 people demonstrating in Los Angeles, 2,500 in San Francisco, 1,000 in Seattle, many hundreds in Minneapolis, and hundreds more in Chicago, New York, New Haven, Conn., New Paltz, N.Y., Miami, (…)
