Some things needing consideration re: Robin Williams in Man Of The Year -

I’ve heard a lot of pans of this film by the regular critics and people online who haven’t seen it or just don’t like Robin Williams. (Kind of how I am about Steve Martin, just not my style.)
ON THE OTHER HAND,
From the editor of Op Ed News:
"I saw Robin Williams Man Of The Year last night. It’s excellent. Very satisfying. See it. It’s a blend of comedy, romance and thriller that lives up to its trailers."
From my wife, who is not into the "politics thing" and is very picky about movies:
"I don’t know why all these critics are panning this movie. It’s really very good, and you should see it Hon. It’s all about the voting machines, and I know how you are about that."
Hmmm, now, WHY would people be panning a good movie again????

I saw this film myself just tonight - it is great, calls things as they are for the most part, and Williams is in top form, also well-supported by Christopher Walken and others.
I strongly recommend seeing it.
