Imagine, if you will, that the United States government passes a law banning advertisers from sponsoring commercials on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show or Rupert Murdoch’s Fox (Faux) “News” Network.
On one hand, there would be two decided advantages to this ban: The National IQ would undoubtedly increase several percentage points, and manipulative pseudo-journalists would no longer be able to appeal to the basest instincts in human nature for ratings and profit while laughing all the way to (…)

Exclusion Zone Around Fukushima Increased To 12,500 Miles
10 June 2012Authorities have increased the Exclusion Zone, around Fukushima, to 12,500 miles.
"Radioactivity is like air or water. It goes wherever the currents OF air or water take it - it rides them. It goes through borders without so much as a TSA private parts feel-up and ignores Custom’s check points. It doesn’t care how educated you are, how wealthy, how powerful, or how spiritual you are. Gated communities are defenseless against it. It just plops it’s invisible, odorless butt right down in (…) -
The week that was in nuclear news
9 June 2012AUSTRALIA
Can’t help it – I’ve had to go mostly for renewable energy news – so much more is really happening – world-wide – and on the brink in Australia. It’s happening at the grassroots – with solar panels popping up on more and more houses , and with campaigners like the Australian Youth Climate Coalition. New survey shows that 94% of Australians want big solar power development.
Threat to unique Australian species – the beautiful GIANT CUTTLEFISH. Olympic Damn uranium mine and its (…) -
Climate Change: Brand or Be Branded
9 June 2012It is very difficult to understand the climate change denial platform on a purely philosophical and scientific level. Climate change is a rather obvious aspect of the history of the Earth and clearly man interacts with climate in an increasingly dynamic manner. That this is even debated appears on the surface to be not a little ridiculous—somewhere on the level of discussing whether the Earth is round or flat.
It is the semantics of it all, which, when combined with politics and the (…) -
Hail to our cannon fodder !
9 June 2012Obama is lauching a PR campaign to glorify the Vietnam war. A cunning way for the Nobel Prized Pres (!!!) to go on leading his conutry in an unprecedented series of agressive wars and schemes all over our planet. The overwhelming public opposition to the Vietnam war will be conveniently censored, to legitimize and intensify a renewed warrior spirit. Here’s a few lines on how "good" this war was, from JACK A. SMITH in http://www.counterpunch.org/2012/06/08/obama-and-the-vietnam-war/

Review: "The Finkler Question" by Howard Jacobson - anti-Zionism vs pro-Zionism
9 June 2012I am a great fan of funny British university-based novels like Kingsley Amis’ “Lucky Jim” and David Lodge’s hilarious romps of the so-called "Campus Trilogy" of “Changing Places”, “Small World”, and “Nice Work”. Howard Jacobson’s “Coming from Behind” was a very funny addition to this genre. However Howard Jacobson’s Booker Prize-winning novel “The Finkler Question” starts out very funny but then the laughter quickly subsides – I do not believe one should make jokes about. anti-Jewish (…)

Week’s Events Point to Global Collapse; Max Keiser on German Bank Downgrade
9 June 2012Editor’s Note: This was a particularly trying and nervous week for the markets, as political and economic tensions seemed to escalate on daily basis. From China’s interest rate easing to the downgrade of Germany’s banks to the rising wave of racism and bias, the swirl of history seemed to take on an unusually pungent aroma, one which permeated all levels of discussion and event horizons.
I am horrified at my own - and that of Max Keiser and many other non-mainstream journalists - prognosis (…) -
UK Diamond Jubilee celebrations hide 700 million Commonwealth avoidable deaths
7 June 2012Great Britain and the British Commonwealth are celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 60th anniversary of her accession to the throne as Queen of Great Britain and various other countries and head of the British Commonwealth. However the enthusiastic celebrations for a much-admired and much-loved monarch should not hide the Awful Truth of the over 727 million avoidable deaths linked to British imperialism and neocolonialism over the last 60 years.
The most (…)
