Fabricated IAEA Report on Iran Released - by Stephen Lendman
Previous articles said US intelligence assessments through March 2011 (the latest one) found no evidence of Iranian nuclear weapons development.
During his December 1, 1997 - November 30, 2009 tenure as IAEA director general, Mohamed ElBaradei concurred. He carefully avoided anti-Iranian rhetoric and baseless charges.
As a result, Washington and Western allies replaced him with Yukiya Amano, known to be more amenable to their (…)

Fabricated IAEA Report on Iran Released
10 November 2011 -
From Occupation to Revolution
9 November 2011There is no step the OWS movement can take that would have greater impact than to decide explicitly that its goal is revolution.
Transforming the whole society has in fact underlain the movement from the start. It is implicit in the movement’s profound commitment to democracy, to equality among participants, to sharing and support for each other. Why should the values embodied in OWS be limited to a few blocks in towns and cities across America? The movement’s refusal to focus on (…) -

Salehi dares: IAEA documents are ‘baseless’
A crucial IAEA report on Iran’s nuclear programme due in the next few days — raised as a possible trigger for war by Israel — is based on "counterfeit" claims, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said in (…) -

Supermarket expropriated in Exarcheia
9 November 2011On Saturday, November 5, 2011, a group of comrades carried out an expropriation at an Exarcheia supermarket that is part of the Bazaar/Fresh Express chain.
Staple and food products were expropriated and then distributed among people at the open-air market on Kallidromiou Street.
The crowd enthusiastically received the full shopping carts and readily accepted the products with appreciation and praise for the action.
Their riches are our blood.

Sarkozy told Obama that Israeli PM Netanyahu is ’a liar’
8 November 2011A technical error allowed journalists to eavesdrop on a private exchange between Sarkozy and Obama during the G20 summit. The two leaders gave frank opinions on the Palestinian problem and slammed Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
An incredible error.
Thanks to a technical error made by the French presidential offices, handful of journalists at the G20 overheard a private conversation between American President Barack Obama and French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
Shortly before (…) -
War Winds Target Iran
8 November 2011War Winds Target Iran - by Stephen Lendman
Anti-Iranian rhetoric and saber rattling is one thing, baseless accusations another if serve as pretext for aggressive war.
Whether or not it’s coming isn’t known. Heated tensions are worrisome if boil over. Leaked information on an imminent IAEA report may or may not precipitate it even though what’s coming lacks credibility.
During his tenure as IAEA director general (December 1, 1997 - November 30, 2009), Mohamed ElBaradei carefully avoided (…) -
Message to Hindi, Bijan and Oumou...
7 November 2011Hindi Zahra, Bijan Chemirani, Oumou Sangare: Aren’t Palestinians humans like everyone else? Do they have the right to have a culture and an education like everyone else?
In recent months, the State of Israel has done everything it could to oppose the granting of Palestine as a member of UNESCO. Recall that UNESCO is the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, which is quite ironic when we hear Israeli officials accuse the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) (…) -
Black Fox Nuclear Power Plant Rocked by 5.6 Oklahoma Earthquake
7 November 2011Black Fox nuclear power plant released 52,800 gallons of radioactive water into the Verdigris river when a 5.6 earthquake struck the region.
A pump seal failed releasing the demineralized water containing trace amounts of radiation.
As spent radioactive fuel comes out of the reactor, it sits in an auxiliary bay, where the demineralized, or filtered, water circulates to cool it down.
At some point before Sunday’s accident, the pump seal failed, and water leaked into a groundwater sump (…) -
Stay United! - A Letter To OWS Movement In NYC From A Supporter
7 November 2011The report of Fritz Tucker “Chill Descends on Occupy Wall Street” (Countercurrents.org,04 November, 2011), which informs about a serious split within the movement is very upsetting. I am one of the supporters who comes to the Liberty Square maybe once, twice a week, essentially just to enjoy the spirit of the event and renew the hope; I was on Oct. 15 on the Times Square and delighted in the revolution/party that was happening there; I am organizing a OWS teach-in the college I work.
Stay (…)
