Humane Green Party Dr Jill Stein versus serial war criminal Hillary Clinton

by: Gideon Polya
Friday November 4, 2016 - 21:00

The American presidential race has entered its last days but the One Percenter-beholden, Big Money-purchased, Mainstream media journalist, politician and academic presstitutes view the contest as a 2-horse race, resolutely ignoring the American Green Party candidate Dr Jill Stein. Anti-racist Jewish American physician Dr Jill Stein would be the compelling choice for decent, informed , humane Americans because of her anti-racism, anti-Apartheid, anti-war, pro-equity, pro- education, pro-peace, pro-human rights, pro-environment, and climate change action policies.

If Bernie Sanders supporters were to vote en masse for the Green Party’s Dr Jill Stein - and hence for much the same policies as those of Bernie Sanders - then Establishment warmonger Hillary Clinton would lose and anti-Establishment xenophobe Donald Trump would win. It is this prospect that will limit defection of decent Democrats to the Green Party. Indeed it is because of precisely such considerations that Dr Jill Stein advocates proportional representation (as in Australia) whereby voters can vote 1 in good conscience for their preferred candidate and then give their second, third etc preferences in order to the remaining candidates. However, Americans who vote for Dr Jill Stein under the present first-past-the-post system will have the satisfaction of not only voting with their conscience but also of possibly defeating a scary, pro-war, Establishment-backed, climate criminal and serial war-criminal Hillary Clinton who is perceived by thoughtful commentators from both the Right and the Left as a huge threat to world peace, in stark contrast to the maverick, anti-Establishment isolationist Donald Trump .

Below are some pro-peace views from some leading commentators from across the political spectrum around the world who are terrified by the prospect of serial invader, serial war criminal and serial mass murderer Hillary Clinton having the world in her hands as President of the United States of America. As British Empire poet Rudyard Kipling put it: “For the female of the species is more deadly than the male.”

The Saker (a pseudonym for a top level American military analyst) (October 2016): “Hillary wins. That’s Obama on steroids, only worse. Remember that Obama himself was Dubya, only worse. Of course, Dubya was just Clinton, only worse. Now the circle is closed. Back to Clinton. Except this time around, we have a woman who is deeply insecure, who failed at every single thing that she every tried to do, and who now has a 3 decades long record of disasters and failures. Even when she had no authority to start a war, she started one (told Bill to bomb the Serbs). Now she might have that authority.… The United States are about to enter what might possibly be the deepest and most dangerous crisis of their history. If Trump is elected, he will have to immediately launch a well-planned attack against his opponents without giving them any pretext to accuse him of politically motivated repressions… If Trump gets the right person to head the FBI, he might also use that agency to clean house and deliver a steady streams of indictments for corruption, conspiracy to (fill the blank), abuse of authority, obstruction of justice and dereliction of duty, etc. Since such crimes are widespread in the current circles of power, they are also easy to prove, and cracking down on corruption would get Trump a standing ovation from the American people… Can Trump do it? I don’t know. I would argue that to overthrow the deep state and restore the power of the people is even harder in the USA than it was in Russia. I have always believed that the AngloZionist Empire will have to be brought down from the outside, most probably by a combination of military and economic defeats. I still believe that. However, I might be wrong – in fact, I hope that I am – and maybe Trump will be the guy to bring down the Empire in order to save the United States” (Paul Craig Roberts, “Can Trump save America like Putin saved Russia? – The Saker”, Paul Craig Roberts, 28 October 2016 ).

Dr Paul Craig Roberts (Father of Reaganomics, former editor of the Wall Street Journal and a leading humane American commentator) on populist Donald Trump versus the One Percenter Oligarchy’s Hillary Clinton (October 2016): “If you look at the crowds attending the two candidate’s public appearances, it is clear that the American people prefer Donald Trump, who is opposed to war with Russia and China. War with nuclear powers is the big issue of the election. Hillary’s problem has the ruling American Oligarchy, for which Hillary is the total servant, concerned. What are they going to do about Trump if he wins? Will his fate be the same as John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, George Wallace? Time will tell. Or will a hotel maid appear at the last minute in the way that the Oligarchy got rid of Dominique Strauss-Kahn?... This is how the American Oligarchy destroys those it suspects might not serve its interests. The corrupt self-serving Oligarchy makes sure that it owns the government and the media, the think tanks and increasingly all of the major universities, and, of course, through the presstitutes, Americans’ minds. The Oligarchs are now hard-pressed to rescue Hillary as US president, so let’s see if the Oligarchs can once again deceive the American people. While we wait, let’s concern ourselves with another important issue. The Clinton crime syndicate in the closing years of the 20th century allowed a small handful of mega-corporations to consolidate the US media in a few hands. This vast increase in the power of the Oligarchy was accomplished despite US anti-trust law. The media mergers destroyed the American tradition of a dispersed and independent media. But really, what does federal law mean to the One Percent. Nothing whatsoever. The One Percent’s power makes them immune to law. Hillary’s crimes might cost her the election, but she won’t go to jail” (Paul Craig Roberts, “Can the American people defeat the Oligarchy that rules them? – Paul Craig Roberts”, Paul Craig Roberts, 31October 2016 ).

Susan Sarandon (famous American actress and Bernie Sanders supporter): “I believe in a way she’s [Clinton’s] more dangerous [than Trump], except they’re both talking to Henry Kissinger apparently lately. Her record — I mean, she did not learn a thing from Iraq. She is an interventionist. She’s done horrible things, horrible things, and very callously. I don’t know if she’s overcompensating or what her trip is. I think we’ll be in Iran in two seconds. That scares me. That frightens me” (Susan Sarandon, “Susan Sarandon fears Hillary foreign policy more than Trump”, YouTube, 2 June 2016 ).

George Galloway (British socialist and former left-wing UK MP): “Btw 32a SusanSarandon is right. Hillary Clinton is even more dangerous for America and the world than is Donald Trump” (Louis Nelson, “George Galloway: Trump is better than Clinton”, Politico, 7 June 2016 ) .

Dr Jill Stein (anti-racist Jewish Green Party presidential candidate): “So, you know, we have a very bleak reality. And for people—you know, everybody knows that Donald Trump is, you know, terrifying and dangerous. But to think that we are secure with Hillary Clinton in the White House, where Hillary Clinton is telling us right now that she wants to start a war with Russia over Syria, creating a no-fly zone, which means, folks, get ready. It’s going to be very hard not to slide—excuse me—into World War III here with Hillary at the helm, starting off her four years, or whatever her term is—starting off with declaring war against Russia by enacting a no-fly zone” (Jill Stein in interview with Amy Goodman, “’ Green Party’s Jill Stein on “Donald Trump’s psychosis and Hillary Clinton’s distortions”, Democracy Now, 20 October 2016).

Dr Jill Stein again on Clinton versus Trump and “Look at the walk and not the talk” (deeds are worse than words) (2016): “I’d say putting another Clinton in the White House is only going to make that right-wing extremism greater. We will see more of these neoliberal policies, like Wall Street deregulation, like the Trans-Pacific Partnership, which Hillary has always supported. She’s changed her tune a little bit, but Hillary has walked the walk. Look at the walk and not the talk. In fact, you know, Trump says very scary things—deporting immigrants, massive militarism and, you know, ignoring the climate. Well, Hillary, unfortunately, has a track record for doing all of those things. Hillary has supported the deportations of immigrants, opposed the refugees—women and children coming from Honduras, whose refugee crisis she was very much responsible for by giving a thumbs-up to this corporate coup in Honduras that has created the violence from which those refugees are fleeing. She basically said, "No, bar the gates, send them back." You know, so we see these draconian things that Donald Trump is talking about, we actually see Hillary Clinton doing. And it’s not only the militarism that Trump talks about, it’s Hillary’s massive record of militarism: the rush into Libya, which was really—you know, she was the prime mover behind that campaign, which the military advisers were largely against; her approval for the war in Iraq and so on; you know, her threat to bomb Iran; and, you know, she—and her demonization of Russia and China, and the pivot against China. We are rushing towards war with Hillary Clinton, who has a track record. And on climate, you know, Trump talks terrible on climate, although in Ireland, I believe it is, he does believe in climate change: He’s trying to build a wall to protect one of his luxury golf courses in Ireland, because he’s worried about sea level rise from climate change, according to the papers that he’s filed for that permit. And on climate, Hillary Clinton established an office to promote fracking around the world, while secretary of state. So, the terrible things that we expect from Donald Trump, we’ve actually already seen from Hillary Clinton” (Dr Jill Stein in interview, Democracy Now, “Green Party’s Jill Stein: what we fear from Donald Trump we have already seen from Hillary Clinton”, Democracy Now, 9 June 2016 ).

Julian Assange (world hero and expatriate Australian WikiLeaks founder who is still in sanctuary in the Ecuadorean Embassy in London) has pointed out the stark, “words versus deeds” difference between Donald Trump’s oafish, misogynistic, racist and xenophobic assertions about domestic matters as compared to the horrendous and genocidal warmongering of Hillary Clinton (2016): “’We do have some information about the Republican campaign [but] from the point of view of an investigative journalist organization like WikiLeaks, the problem with the Trump campaign is that it’s actually hard for us to publish much more controversial material than what comes out of Donald Trump’s mouth every second day… A major failure of the Trump campaign and the Bernie Sanders campaign, Hillary Clinton tried to run on her having judgment and experience in the State Department. Later on, those campaigns – too late in the process, in my view – started picking up that the experience was mostly a bad experience. So for example, Libya: We published 1,700 emails about her involvement in Libya. Benghazi is just a small part of that. She was the leading architect, the leading political force driving to destroy the Libyan state” (David Martosko, “WikiLeaks founder says the problem with leaking material about Trump is that nothing can compare with “what comes out of Donald Trump’s mouth””, Daily Mail, 27 August 2016).

John Pilger (outstanding, anti-war, expatriate Australian writer( (2016): “In 1947, a series of National Security Council directives described the paramount aim of American foreign policy as “a world substantially made over in [America’s] own image”. The ideology was messianic Americanism. We were all Americans. Or else. Heretics would be converted, subverted, bribed, smeared or crushed. Donald Trump is a symptom of this, but he is also a maverick. He says the invasion of Iraq was a crime; he doesn’t want to go to war with Russia and China. The danger to the rest of us is not Trump, but Hillary Clinton. She is no maverick. She embodies the resilience and violence of a system whose vaunted “exceptionalism” is totalitarian with an occasional liberal face. As presidential election day draws near, Clinton will be hailed as the first female president, regardless of her crimes and lies – just as Barack Obama was lauded as the first black president and liberals swallowed his nonsense about “hope”. And the drool goes on” (John Pilger, “Why Hillary Clinton is more dangerous than Donald Trump”, New Matilda, 23 March 2016 ).

William Blum (outstanding , anti-racist Jewish American writer and author of the best-selling “Rogue State”) who is in agreement with John Pilger and others that warmonger Hillary Clinton is worse than the isolationist maverick Donald Trump (2016): “If the American presidential election winds up with Hillary Clinton vs. Donald Trump, and my passport is confiscated, and I’m somehow FORCED to choose one or the other, or I’m PAID to do so, paid well … I would vote for Trump. My main concern is foreign policy. American foreign policy is the greatest threat to world peace, prosperity, and the environment. And when it comes to foreign policy, Hillary Clinton is an unholy disaster. From Iraq and Syria to Libya and Honduras the world is a much worse place because of her; so much so that I’d call her a war criminal who should be prosecuted. And not much better can be expected on domestic issues from this woman who was paid $675,000 by Goldman Sachs – one of the most reactionary, anti-social corporations in this sad world – for four speeches and even more than that in political donations in recent years. Add to that Hillary’s willingness to serve for six years on the board of Walmart while her husband was governor of Arkansas. Can we expect to change corporate behavior by taking their money?”(William Blum, “American exceptionalism presents an election made in hell”, Anti-Empire Report, 11 March 2016).

Edward Snowden (world hero in exile in Russia for exposing the extent of illegal US Government spying on its own citizens) on Clinton’s e-mails versus Trump’s oafishness (2016): “This is a problem because anyone who has the clearances that the secretary of state has, or the director of any top level agency has, knows how classified information should be handled. If an ordinary worker at the state department or the Central Intelligence Agency [...] were sending details about the security of embassies, which is alleged to be in her email, meetings with private government officials, foreign government officials and the statements that were made to them in confidence over unclassified email systems, they would not only lose their jobs and lose their clearance, they would very likely face prosecution for it… It’s very difficult to respond in a serious way to any statement that’s made by Donald Trump” (“Preview: Snowden hits back at Clinton and Trump”, Al Jazeera, 3 September 2015).

Carlo Sands (Australian Green Left commentator and acerbically witty political satirist) has summarized the contest, contrasting the media-ignored, humane Green Party candidate Dr Jill Stein with Establishment-endorsed monster Hillary Clinton and xenophobic populist Donald Trump: “Sure, Clinton is in the pay of fossil fuel corporations whose practices are destroying the capacity of the planet to sustain human civilisation and WikiLeaks has exposed the extent to which she is a puppet of Wall Street. But her opponent [Trump] is a psychopathic likely rapist who can’t complete a sentence without threatening to commit some atrocity against one minority or another and is just one popular vote away from accessing nuclear weapons. So for many, a corporate greed-fuelled ecoholocaust starts seeming like the least of our problems. Of course, there is also [physician Dr] Jill Stein, the Greens candidate who advocates extreme and unpopular policies like free education, not committing war crimes and shifting away from practices condemning the planet to destruction. Many who actually support Stein’s policies are likely to back Clinton nonetheless because, the argument goes, it is a two-horse race so it is important to back the lesser evil — even when the “evil” in question is a probable dead planet” ( Carlo Sands, “With the US elections its hard to see why anyone would oppose the US brand of freedom”, Green left Weekly, 21 October 2016 ).

Misogynist, racist and xenophobic populist Donald Trump is a highly flawed candidate but has evidently alarmed the American Establishment that backs Hillary Clinton because of his isolationist policies, his anti-free trade stance, his position of blaming George Bush for 9-11 through ignoring a flood of intelligence warnings, his determination to root out Congressional corruption by constraining domestic and foreign lobbyists, and his exposure of how US elections are rigged by Establishment-owned Mainstream media.

Donald Trump is criticized for not having yet held public office. However critics of Hillary Clinton can mount a compelling counter-argument – she has been associated with the appalling domestic and international crimes of the Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI) –perverted and subverted US Establishment as First Lady of Arkansas as the wife of Governor Bill Clinton (January 1983- December 1992), thence as First Lady of the US as the wife of President Bill Clinton (January 1993- January 2001), Senator for New York (January 2001 – January 2009), and US Secretary of State (January 2009 – February 2013).

As First Lady of the US (1993-2001) and Senator for New York (2001-2009) Hillary Clinton was inescapably complicit in the Sanctions war against Iraq (1990-2003) that was associated with 1.7 million Iraqi deaths from imposed deprivation and 1.2 million under-5 year old Iraqi infant deaths, 90% avoidable and evidence of gross US and UN violation of Articles 55 and 56 of the Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War which demand that an Occupier supplies the Conquered with food and medical requisites to “the fullest extent of the means available to it”. Following the US Government’s 9-11 false flag atrocity in 2001, Hilary Clinton voted to approve the ongoing Afghan War (2001- ) that has been associated, so far, with 4.2 million avoidable deaths from war-imposed deprivation, 1.4 million violent deaths (as estimated from Iraq war comparisons), 2-3 million refugees, and 2.9 million under-5 year old Afghan infant deaths, 90% avoidable and evidence of gross US and UN violation of the Geneva Convention.

Hillary Clinton also voted for the Iraq War which was associated with 1.5 million violent Iraqi deaths, 1.2 million Iraqi deaths from imposed deprivation, 5-6 million refugees, and 0.8 million under-5 year old Iraqi infant deaths, 90% avoidable and evidence of gross violation of the Geneva Convention by the US Alliance. As US Secretary of State (January 2009 – February 2013), Hillary Clinton was complicit with the Obama Administration and the France-UK-US (FUKUS) Coalition in destroying Libya that had formerly been the most prosperous country in all of Africa, killing 0.1 million Libyans, killing the leader the US didn’t like, generating 1 million refugees and transforming a formerly peaceful and secular country into a failed state riven by sectarian civil war . The Obama Administration, with which Hillary Clinton is intimately associated, has backed deadly military coups against democratically elected governments in Honduras, Ukraine and Egypt, and has backed anti-government terrorists – including jihadi extremists – attempting to overthrow the secular Assad regime in Syria (0.5 million Syrians killed so far, a similar number dead from war-imposed deprivation, and 12 million refugees).

Hillary Clinton and the Obama Administration have been war criminally variously involved via bombing, drones or troops in ongoing civil wars in Libya, Somalia, the Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Columbia, and the Philippines. Indeed the US-led US Alliance has been militarily involved in 20 countries since the US Government’s 9-11 false-flag atrocity and these interventions have been associated with 32 million Muslim deaths from violence (5 million) or from imposed deprivation (27 million) – a Muslim Holocaust (millions of deaths) and a Muslim Genocide (noting that genocide is defined by Article 2 of the UN Genocide Convention as “acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group” ( “Experts: US did 9-11”: https://sites.google.com/site/exper... ; “Afghan Holocaust Afghan Genocide”: https://sites.google.com/site/afgha... ; “Muslim Holocaust Muslim Genocide”: https://sites.google.com/site/musli... ; Gideon Polya,“Paris Atrocity Context: 27 Million Muslim Avoidable Deaths From Imposed Deprivation In 20 Countries Violated By US Alliance Since 9-11”, Countercurrents, 22 November, 2015: http://www.countercurrents.org/poly... ).

In contrast, Donald Trump opposed the Iraq War, is an isolationist, and as a political cleanskin has not had the opportunity to commit mass murder and war crimes.

At home in the USA under the Hillary Clinton-complicit Obama regime, about 1.7 million Americans suffer preventable deaths each year as follows (note gun, homicide and suicide overlaps): 443,000 ( smoking-related causes), 440,000 (adverse events in hospitals), 300,000 Americans ( obesity-related causes), 200,000 ( air pollution), 75,000 (alcohol-related), 45,000 ( lack of medical insurance), 38,000 (drug-related deaths, this including 21,000 US opiate drug-related deaths annually linked to US restoration and protection of the Taliban-destroyed Afghan opium industry), 33,000 ( motor vehicles), 31,000 (gun-related), 30,000 (suicide with 7,000 being US veterans), 21,000 (avoidable under-5 year old US infant deaths), and 15,000 (murder). In stark contrast, since 9-11 an average of about 4 Americans have died each year in the US from terrorist attacks. A total of 13.6 million Americans have died preventably under the Hillary Clinton-complicit Obama regime. This carnage - that is resolutely unreported by the traitorous, One-Percenter-owned, Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-perverted and subverted Mainstream media – is inescapably linked to the fiscal perversion of spending trillions of dollars on Apartheid Israel and killing millions of Muslims abroad rather than keeping millions of Americans alive at home.

Both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton follow the sine qua non of US politics in supporting nuclear terrorist, racist Zionist-run, genocidally racist, democracy-by-genocide Apartheid Israel, but Donald Trump may have broken ranks with his determination to constrain foreign and US lobbyists. Without indulging in the electoral suicide of specifically criticizing the racist Zionists, Donald Trump has stated : “First: I am going to re-institute a 5-year ban on all executive branch officials lobbying the government for 5 years after they leave government service. I am going to ask Congress to pass this ban into law so that it cannot be lifted by executive order. Second: I am going to ask Congress to institute its own 5-year ban on lobbying by former members of Congress and their staffs. Third: I am going to expand the definition of lobbyist so we close all the loopholes that former government officials use by labeling themselves consultants and advisors when we all know they are lobbyists. Fourth: I am going to issue a lifetime ban against senior executive branch officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government. Fifth: I am going to ask Congress to pass a campaign finance reform that prevents registered foreign lobbyists from raising money in American elections. Not only will we end our government corruption, but we will end the economic stagnation” (Donald Trump, “Donald J. Trump’s five-point plan for ethics reform”, 17 October 2016).

Trumping all her other crimes, presently under the Hillary Clinton-Barack Obama regime about 17 million people die avoidably from deprivation each year on Spaceship Earth with Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-subverted and perverted One Percenters in charge of the flight deck – the racist Zionists (RZs) are heavily complicit in this appalling Global Avoidable Mortality Holocaust through neoliberal greed, racism and depraved perversion of the US aid budget to military aid for Apartheid Israel and other US client states and away from non-military aid to the Developing World. Globally, 136 million people died avoidably from imposed deprivation during the Hillary Clinton-associated Obama Administration, about one quarter women, half children and three quarters women and children (see Gideon Polya, “Body Count. Global avoidable mortality since 1950”).

From a world peace perspective with America presently slouching its way towards the terminal nightmare of World War 3, populist xenophobe but isolationist Donald Trump is better than exceptionalist warmonger and serial war criminal Hillary Clinton. Science-informed, humane, pro-peace, pro-human rights, pro-equity, progressive, anti-neoliberalism Americans who want to maximize happiness , opportunity and dignity for all can vote for anti-racist Jewish American physician Dr Jill Stein, the American Green Party presidential candidate.

In particular, unlike pro-Zionist Donald Trump and war criminal, pro-Apartheid Israel Hillary Clinton, anti-racist Jewish American physician Dr Jill Stein has ethically opposed racist Zionist criminality and has accused the Apartheid Israeli government of “apartheid, assassination, illegal settlements, blockades, building of nuclear bombs, indefinite detention, collective punishment, and defiance of international law”. One hopes that sensible Americans will realize the incongruity of Trump and Clinton standing for election in a roughly one-person-one-vote process yet resolutely supporting racist, ruthless and genocidal Apartheid in Palestine.

They have also been the subject of much political debate and the focus of a Frontline special entitled College Inc. Unlike traditional (...)

PART I PART III PART IV Several years ago, a young lady came into the college where I was teaching to inquire about a full-time instructor’s position in the sociology department. She was advised that only adjunct positions were available. Her response was, “No thanks. Once an adjunct, always an adjunct.” Her words still echo in my mind. Even as colleges and universities raise their tuition costs, they are relying more and more on adjunct instructors. Adjuncts are (...)

PART II PART III PART IV When The Bill of Rights was added to the United States Constitution over two hundred years ago, Americans were blessed with many rights considered to be “fundamental.” One conspicuously missing, however, was the right to an education. This was not surprising given the tenor of the times. America was primarily an agrarian culture, and education, especially higher education, was viewed as a privilege reserved for the children of the rich and (...)

If there is one universal question that haunts all human beings at some point in their lives, it is, “Why do we die?” Death, after all, is the great illogic. It ultimately claims all, the rich and the poor, the mighty and the small, the good and the evil. Death also has the capability to make most human pursuits—such as the quest for wealth, fame and power—vacuous and fleeting. Given this reality, I have often wondered why so many people are still willing to (...)

How much corruption can a “democracy” endure before it ceases to be a democracy? If five venal, mendacious, duplicitous, amoral, biased and (dare I say it) satanic Supreme Court “justices”—John Roberts, Samuel Alito, Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas and Anthony Kennedy—have their way, America will soon find out. In several previous articles for Pravda.Ru, I have consistently warned how the Supreme Court’s 2010 Citizens United decision is one of the (...)

Imagine, if you will, that the United States government passes a law banning advertisers from sponsoring commercials on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show or Rupert Murdoch’s Fox (Faux) “News” Network. On one hand, there would be two decided advantages to this ban: The National IQ would undoubtedly increase several percentage points, and manipulative pseudo-journalists would no longer be able to appeal to the basest instincts in human nature for ratings and profit while (...)

LIVE, from the State that brought you Senator Joseph McCarthy, Wisconsin voters now proudly present, fresh from his recall election victory, Governor Scott Walker! At first glance, it is almost unfathomable that anyone with a modicum of intelligence would have voted to retain Scott Walker as Wisconsin’s governor. This, after all, is a man who openly declared he is trying to destroy the rights of workers through a “divide and conquer” strategy; who received 61% of the (...)

A question I’ve frequently been asked since I began writing for Pravda.Ru in 2003 is, “Why did you become disillusioned with the practice of law?” This question is understandable, particularly since, in most people’s minds, being an attorney is synonymous with wealth and political power. I’ve always been reluctant to answer this question for fear it will discourage conscientious and ethical people from pursuing careers in the legal profession—a (...)
