An Open Letter to New Exxon/Mobil CEO, Rex Tillerson
April 1, 2006
Mr. Tillerson:
You have to be feeling pretty good about your new position heading the world’s largest oil and gas company. You stand astride the globe where, with few exceptions, the Congress is like putty in your hands, the White House is your House and the consuming public is powerless. Governments in the Third World may huff and puff, but Exxon/Mobil pretty much gets its way in dozens of arrangements completed and (…)

Billionaire Thailand PM gives Satan Sign before phony election
2 April 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
Is the Thai PM telling the world that he is a satan worshipper?
Thailand’s prime minister has a giant fortune, a loving and grateful family and the adoration of some, if not all, of his public.
To that list he can now add what might appear every politician’s dream: an election without an opposition. Thaksin Shinawatra stands tomorrow in a poll in which his party’s only company on the ballot paper will be a list of fringe groups and "None of the Above" - the box that is his only (…) -

Analysts the world over are starting to recognize the early warning signs of a gathering storm regarding the strength of the international financial system in general, and the stability of the United States Dollar, in particular.
This essay provides an alternative view on this impending crisis, written from the viewpoint of an Argentine analyst whose country has undergone recurrent monetary and financial crises over the past forty years, albeit on a domestic rather (…) -

How International Bankers Gained Control Of America
’An absolutely mind blowing film that covers the history of money and banking systems throughout Europe and America. It shows how a small group of men control countries through a corrupt system of finance and central banking, to enslave and oppress humanity.’ (Google video stream parts 1 - 3).

A year ago Tamiflu was known, if at all, as an obscure remedy for influenza, which doctors typically treat with bed rest and chicken soup. Today, with panic mounting over a potential bird flu pandemic, it’s the most sought-after drug in the world, as everyone from suburban soccer moms in the U.S. to health officials in London and Taipei scramble to stockpile the pill. At the moment, it seems, virtually the entire world is on sick-chicken alert.

"They’re blowin’ this town all to hell" -Bo Hopkins in Sam Peckinpah’s "The Wild Bunch"(1969)
Senator John Warner (R-Va.) has the unexpected problem of a foreign state-owned company taking over operations at U.S. ports all figured out. The dour, self-righteous chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee announced from the Senate floor on March 9 that Dubai Ports World (DPW), one of seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates (UAE), "has decided to transfer (…) -
Checkmate: The End of US Hegemony and What it Means for the People of the United States

1 commentBy Brandon Batzloff Editor, Free Voices freevoices@lycos.com In October 2004, i wrote an essay titled “US and Russia: Democracy in Check” in which i compared the methods that both the United States and Russia were using to curtail human rights and democratic process. Since that time both countries have taken great steps in this direction, but the US has definitely taken the lead. Under the banner of providing security and an expanded economy, the Bush regime has taken unprecedented (…)
