A day of National liberation : Is V-D Day approaching ?

Is the reign of the darkness finnally coming to an end ? If Cheney ,as reported, has hidden 250 incriminating E -Mails , it’s Bye-Bye Birdie for the drunken Lone Gunman of Armstrong Ranch . Bill Buckely, George Will , Paul Weyrich, Peggy Noonan ,Paul Craig Roberts, Bruce Bartlett, Francis Fukyamama, all neocons - past or present - have had enough of carrying this 240 pound sack of manure on their backs . Roberts , aka Paul of Catharsis ,wants to be done with the neoconservative insanity while the others feel the evil empire can be repackaged and sold by a younger, more atttractive & lessed scarred pitchman. I think they are in denial . It is hard to admit the abject failure of a concept one has dedicated one’s life too. The good news : Finnally , all sane elements of civil society want War Criminal Cheney out. His antics at Armstrong ranch were the final straw . The missing E-mails constitute the knock-out blow. The Day we read the headlines CHENEY RESIGNS should be called V- - D Day I think V-D Day should be memorialised in our Republic’s history , an epocha of equal import to the Fourth of July. Bonfires , family feasts consisting of quail under glass, issuance of pardons for all rehabilitated drunks , would seem most appropriate for gestures of remembrance for the cemmoration of this Day of National Liberation. 33 years ago , WH. Counsel John Dead told his boss , Richard Nixon , that a cancer called Watergate was threatening the presidency. Today the Presidency of Richard Cheney has become a cancer, most malignant . The cancer has mutated into virulent presidential dictatorship , the unitary executive . This "Big Unit" is a) building detention centres , b) torturing and kidnapping people based on reasons no more sustantial than the exercise of it’s own arbitary and bestial instincts , c) spying on political enemies , mining intelligence data bases , & d) embroiling us in endless war based on the crudest of lies . There is no time to dawdle . Now is the time to act.
