ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER SMIRK

He got his way. As usual. The petulant, arrogant, disaster of a President did an end-run around the advice of both friends and enemies. He appointed John Bolton to be U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Assembly.

Even his friends told him that Bolton was petulant, arrogant, occasionally vicious, vindictive, scheming and dogmatic. None of that would seem to make him a “diplomat.”

We know that Bolton would like the U.N. to disappear, dissolve, and go away. He has no regard, or respect, for the people, or the nations, making up the U.N. His one concern, as a neoconservative is to ensure global hegemony, dominion, for the United States.

This dominion is to be exercised by cowardly crony war hawks, with aggressivity, preemption, misdirection, utmost violence, death and destruction if necessary. Dominion will come under the kindly hand of Bush and his True Believer Corporate associates for maximum profit for a few god-chosen people at the top of the heap.

There is to be no consideration of poor, aged, sick, or weak peoples, especially of those inferior races which dare to manage their own destinies, without the compassionate aid of Bush Inc. The term “compassionate” refers to the compassion of a Nile crocodile that sees a child playing at the edge of the river.

So we must conclude that all of these characteristics of Bolton, which to ordinary people would make him terrible choice as a Diplomat, are precisely the characteristics that Bush wants. We must conclude that the yearning of many Republicans to make the UN vanish, to destroy it, or make it submit to the imperial will of the U.S. President, are identical to the wishes of Bush.

We know that the Bush administration is famous for mendacity, for deception, for preemption, and for arrogant petulance. These are all qualities that Bolton seems to exemplify, in abundance. Those qualities indeed would make him a good choice to help bring those third world nincompoops to their knees.

Bolton and Bush will show those presumptuous Third World trash that their superiority must be recognized and that everybody must kiss their royal butts. That would also be very good to ensure white Christian supremacy and crush all those other evil ideologies into powder. This would be excellent to show that bullying, bull-dozing, bellowing tactics are real American values.

We must therefore caution people at the U.N. that a wolf in sheep’s skin is coming to lord it over them. We must caution U.N. people never to turn their back on Bolton. We must caution U.N. people to get food-tasters, special security guards, alarm systems, because a special kind of pirate may be let loose amongst them.

This pirate means to do great harm, unless all his demands, his commandments, are followed strictly. Because the wishes of whoever is in charge of the U.S. presently are to be disregarded only at great peril to lives and property.

Bolton, as a royal sycophant, is there to ensure only the welfare of the Bush regime. Nothing more, nothing less.

That’ll show those U.N. interlopers, those inferior bureaucrats
