Edito Elections-Elected Governments USA
Here are some other things you must also believe if you believe that Duh-bya won the election:
1- That the exit polls were WRONG.
2- That Zogby’s 5pm election day calls for Kerry winning OH and FL were WRONG. He was exactly RIGHT in his 2000 final poll.
3- That Harris’ last minute polling for Kerry was WRONG. He was exactly RIGHT in his 2000 final poll.
4- That the Incumbent Rule (that undecideds break for the challenger) was WRONG.
5- That the 50% Rule was WRONG (that an incumbent doesn’t do better than his final polling)
6- That the Approval Rating Rule was WRONG (that an incumbent with less than 50% approval will most likely lose the election)
7- That Greg Palast was WRONG when he said that even before the election, 1 million votes were stolen from Kerry. He was the ONLY reporter to break the fact that 90,000 Florida blacks were disenfranchised in 2000.
8- That it was just a COINCIDENCE that the exit polls were CORRECT where there WAS a PAPER TRAIL and INCORRECT (+5% for Bush) where there was NO PAPER TRAIL.
9- That the surge in new young voters had NO positive effect for Kerry.
10- That Bush BEAT 99-1 mathematical odds in winning the election.
11- That Kerry did WORSE than Gore against an opponent who LOST the support of SCORES of Republican newspapers who were for Bush in 2000.
12- That Bush did better than an 18 national poll average which showed him tied with Kerry at 47. In other words, Bush got 80% of the undecided vote to end up with a 51-48 majority - when ALL professional pollsters agree that the undecided vote ALWAYS goes to the challenger.
13- That voting machines made by Republicans with no paper trail and with no software publication, which have been proven by thousands of computer scientists to be vulnerable in scores of ways, were NOT tampered with in this election.
14. That people who voted for Bush were not anxious to speak to exit pollsters in the states that Bush had to win (like Florida and Ohio) where the exit polls were off, but wanted to be polled in states that he had sewn up (like Arizona, Louisiana and Arkansas) where the exit polls were exactly correct.
15. That Democrats who voted for Kerry were very anxious to be exit-polled, especially in Florida and Ohio (and that this is what accounts for the discrepancy between the exit polls and the actual votes in these two critical states).
16. That women were much more likely to be polled early in the day in Florida and Ohio. That is another reason why the exit polls were wrong in those states. In those states in which the exit polls were correct to within one percent, women did not come out early.
17. That network newscasters who claim that those who consider the possibility of fraud are just wild conspiracy theorists do not have an agenda.
18. That it is just a coincidence that only since the 2000 presidential election have exit polls failed to agree with the actual vote - and that Bush won both disputed elections.
19. That exit polls are not to be trusted in the United States, even though they are used throughout the world to monitor elections for fraud.
20. That even though more votes were cast than there were eligible voters in many precincts of critical states, it is not an issue that needs to be covered in the media.
21. That the absence of a paper ballot trail for touch screen computers does not encourage fraud, even though they have been proven by hundreds of computer experts to be highly vulnerable to fraudulent attack.
22. That statistical tests which indicate a high probability of fraud are just conspiratorial junk science.
23. That Bush’s vote tallies could exceed his exit poll percentage in FL by 4%. Based on 2846 individuals exit polled, the polling margin of error was 1.84%. The odds of this occurrence: 1 out of 1667.
24. That his vote tallies could exceed his exit poll percentage in OH by 3%. Based on 1963 individuals exit polled, the polling margin of error was 2.21%. The odds of this occurrence: 1 out of 333.
25. That his vote tallies could exceed his exit poll percentages in 41 out of 51 states. The odds of this occurrence: 1 out of 135,000.
26. That his vote tallies could exceed the margin of error in 16 states. Not one state vote tally exceeded the MOE for Kerry. The odds of this occurrence: 1 out of 13.5 Trillion.
27. That his vote tallies could exceed a 2% exit poll margin of error in 23 states. The probability of this occurrence: as close to ZERO as you can get.
28. That of 88 documented touch screen incidents, 86 voters would see their vote for Kerry come up Bush - and only TWO from Bush to Kerry. The probability of this occurrence: as close to ZERO as you can get.
29. That Mitofsky (who ran the exit polls), with 25 years of experience, has lost his exit polling touch.
30. That by disputing the Ukrainian elections, the Bush administration would base its case on the accuracy of U.S. sponsored exit polling, while at the same time ignoring exit polls in the U.S. presidential election, which the media reported Kerry was winning handily.
31. That Bush could overcome Kerry’s 50.8% - 48.2% lead in the National Exit Poll Sub-sample (13,047 polled) and win the popular vote: 51.2% - 48.4%, a 3.0% increase from the exit poll to the vote tally, far beyond the 0.86% margin of error. The odds of this occurrence: 1 out of 282 Billion.
What I’m trying to point out is how the Re-party has instantly dismissed any possible cheating as being impossible and simply a political tactic.I don’t know exactly how to sabotage a vote count, but I do know that the process is so simple that anyone can do it to any machine in a matter of seconds with the proper training.I would also speculate that the process was not shared with Democrats, especially since the machines were made by a major Re-party supporter. One hand washes the other.Does it not strike anyone as wrong that a voting system should have no method of checking the accuracy of its count other than it saying its accurate? What was so wrong with the two hundred year old practice of paper ballots’other than time consumption? In North Carolina we use scantron balots which can be quickly counted by machine and visually verified if necessary.
Q:What did I have for lunch?
A: an elephant sandwich.
Q:How do you know this?
A:I told you this.
Q:Could I be lying?
A:No,because I’m telling you the truth.
On this system of logic we are going to base our election results?Sure.Maybe later the Easter Bunny will act as mediator of the vote count.
A system with no method of verifiction is used only if you plan to steal an election because you’re afraid of losing stemming from domestic and foreign policy decisions that have harmed the citizenry.
Q;How many Republicans are there?
A:As many as Fox News tells us.
— Faux News:foul and biased—
Furthermore,if going to talk about evil and election campaigns, let’s talk about the last ten elections.
Q:Who attempted to rig the ‘72 election by breaking into D.N.C.Headquarters?
A:Nixon(R)
Q:Which party launched a smear campaing against the other party in ‘80 blaming them instead of greedy oil companies for the energy crisis?
A: Republicans
Q:Which party twisted the words of their opponent to make a remark about raising taxes on the rich to imply that taxes would be raised for everyone?
A:Republicans-’84
Q:Who stated through false ads that Dukakis let a convicted rapist out on parole when in fact it was his Republican perdecessor?
A:Bush ‘88
Q:Which party from March’92 to...who knows when launched a smear campaign against our last elected president accusing him of anything and finding out that his only crime was perjuring himself in a thrown out civil that he had an affair. The admission of such testimony would have made no difference in the verdict by the jury’s admission.
A:The entire Republican party
Q:Which party sent shills to Florida to disrupt the recount, and which party did everything it could to prevent the recount from taking place at all?
A:You know who-the Republicans.
Q:Last one.Which party abolished the Fairness Doctrine which required equal time for expressing views on political and social issues, then monopolized radio and TV,shutting out political dissent as much as possible, and filling the air waves with multiple proponents of their ideology?
A:The Republicans.
Liberals are not angels. However,we have not spent the past thirty years trying, and sometimes succeeding in subverting the democratic process.
Millions of eager people went to the polls early on election day, yet many stood in line for hours & hours due to an insufficient availability of voting machines. Many of these voters stood in line outside their polling precincts despite pouring rain & despite the fact that they were being detained from their jobs (as well as being docked for hours missed).
The eager anticipation of these voters tells me they did not stand in line for hours & hours, in pouring rain, to vote for an incompetent nitwit. They wanted change in this country’s direction.
Think about the pictures taken at Kerry’s many campaign rallies. Picture the huge crowds of people hungry for a change in leadership.
Think about the meager campaign rallies of the incumbent, which were closed to those who would not sign a loyalty oath, promising to vote for him, before gaining access just to hear him speak.
I heard Zogby say on The Daily Show the night before the election that, according to his data, Kerry would win the election.
On election night I watched how CNN reported the exit poll numbers, which were indicative of a Kerry victory, then change the numbers dramatically late in the evening. Was there suddenly a surge of millions of Bush voters at the polls? I doubt that; Bush voters weren’t likely among those who had to stand in line most of the day. None of the networks will disclose their exit polling information to this day. Why?
I hope that there is a congressional investigation into this election. Our votes are the only way we can keep our public officials accountable. When elections are stolen, we have no voice; we have fascism.
I wonder how many of you out there remember all the times George Bush looked directly into the camera on the news and said YOU DON"T HAVE TO WORRY, I KNOW I’M GOING TO WIN. Why was he so confident?
It’s very apparent that the elections both in 2000 and 2004 were rigged. There was too much information out there saying just what was happening that was illegal. We Americans are not that stupid.
It’s a darn shame our country has sunk so low. What ever happened to A GOVERNMENT BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE. We should find a way to get that back.
Anyone who reads this and comes away believing that nothing suspiscious is going on did not comprehend what they read.
The exit poll discrepancies are just the indication of malfeasance, the evidence of election fraud is mountainous.
The reasons I believe people refuse to study this issue are twofold.
One is the belief that since no one could get away with this, it must not have happened. (so there’s no reason to look)
The other is that this subject is uncomfortable.
Most people would rather believe that all is right with the world than bear the responsibility that comes with the reality of this issue.
Believe me - I’ve studied this, I know it’s a fact that these elections were heavily tampered with and how, and I am VERY uncomfortable about it.
Here’s what I don’t get about people who voted for Bush and refuse to even consider - and I mean just CONSIDER the possibility that the election was fraudulent:
If it was stolen wouldn’t you want to know if the person you chose to put in office was involved in criminal activity?
To steal an election is treason (Oxford definition: treachery towards one’s country...) pure and simple, perpetrated on EVERY SINGLE VOTER, not just the losing side. And I dare say, it’s unAmerican.
Do you really want criminals to have that much power? Do you want traitors (Definition: ...one who betrays his country) to:
• Enact laws and legislation?
• Spend your tax dollars?
• Represent your country to the rest of the world?
• Have the ability to wage wars in your name?
To look at the evidence, from the exit polls to the anomolies that went in Bush’s favor, is to turn a blind eye and partisan squawking just makes you look like an accessory after the fact. In that case, you got the leader you deserve. God help us all.
If anyone believes beyond any doubt that Bush won the election hands-down, they should have no problem with the election being fully investigated and having all votes re-counted every which way.
Anyone who attempts to stand in the way of this happening has something to hide (Ken Blackwell, this means you ... get a good lawyer.)
TO ALL WHO KEEP STATING THEIR OPINONS, that it’s all just “sour grapes”, THAT THERE HAS BEEN NO SYSTEMIC ELECTIONS FRAUD IN THE U.S., WHERE ARE YOUR FACTS? WHY DON’T YOU EVER PRESENT PROOF OF YOUR ALLEGATIONS?? (See Claire’s posting for an excellent example of how to do it, or any of the others who provide ample documentation, verifiable sources and reliable data.)
SINCE WHEN IS AN OPINION MORE VALID THAN THE THOUSANDS OF PAGES OF DATA AND DOCUMENTED FACTS THAT PROVE IT WRONG? Where are your minds??? IF YOU CAN PROVE THERE WAS NO SOLID EVIDENCE OF ELECTIONS FRAUD, DO IT. IF NOT, WAKE UP!! Further, why is the exact same kind of evidence that was proof positive of election fraud in the Ukraine suddenly supposed to be invalid in the U.S. election??
TELLING THE SAME LIES OVER AND OVER DOESN’T MAKE THEM TRUE: IT JUST MAKES THEM BORING AND TIRESOME.
IF YOU CAN’T PROVIDE ANY FACTS TO SUPPORT YOUR OPINIONS, MAYBE YOU NEED TO TAKE A HARD LOOK AT WHY YOU HOLD ON SO TIGHTLY TO THOSE OPINIONS, EVEN WHEN THERE IS AN OVERWHELMING BODY OF EVIDENCE, SOLID, HARD FACTS, THAT PROVES THEM WRONG?
The persistent inability to change one’s views when confronted with solid proofs that those views are in error is one of the key, defining characteristics of mental illness and/or personality disorder.
THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF CASES, civil suits and criminal complaints both, FROM THE 2000, 2002, and 2004 ELECTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN STALLED BY THE VARIOUS STATE AND FEDERAL COURTS.
WHO CNOTROLS THE FEDERAL ELECTIONS COMISSION?
REPUBLICANS.
WHO IS IN CONTROL OF THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT? REPUBLICANS.
WHO CONTROLS THE ELECTIONS SYSTEMS IN A MAJORITY OF CONTESTED STATES? REPUBLICANS.
WHO DECIDES WHETHER THE CIVIL SUITS AND CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS IN THOSE STATES EVER GET HEARD? REPUBLICANS.
WHO IS UNWILLING TO EVER LET THE EVIDENCE BE HEARD AND TESTED IN ANY VALID FORUM?
REPUBLICANS.
What other avenue than that of public debate and the grassroots movement of a people deeply concerned with the loss of democracy in this country is left to us wherein we might have the truth get heard at all?
As for Kerry, or Edwards, not filing a suit, my personal opinion is that they worked harder than anyone I’ve ever seen to throw the elections from the start, and they are shills for Bush, always were. The Corporatocracy foisted Kerry upon the voting public with a massive scare campaign, launched right after Dean’s strong showing in the first primary. The scare was on, with cries of “electability!”, “electability!”, being shouted by Limbaugh, Fox “news”, Lou Dobbs, Aaron Brown and all the other right wing pundits, in mid-December of 2003.
Suddenly Kerry was the one and only candidate we heard about from all of the media. The Corporate MEDIA, not the people, selected Kerry to run. And Kerry’s whole campaign, had it been a football game, would have been an obvious case of “shaving points” to throw the game’s outcome to his opponent.
WE NEVER HAD A REAL ELECTION, BUT STILL THE PEOPLE VOTED BUSH OUT!! THAT IS WHAT THE EVIDENCE SHOWS. IF YOU CANNOT DISPROVE THE EVIDENCE, YOU HAVEN’T GOT MUCH OF A LEG TO STAND ON. I notice that there is still no answer as to why these same kinds of exit polls, done by the same consultants, were good enough to prove Ukrainian elections fraud but not valid to prove American elections fraud.. Nor the bigg question WHY ISN’T FREEMAN’S WORK BEING GIVEN ITS PEER REVIEW?
We “conspiracy theorists” would have an easier time believing that the numerous problems reported on and after Election Day in Ohio amounted to nothing more than a series of unfortunate events if Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell had been more cooperative in allowing scrutiny of all facets of the election process.
Instead, not only has Mr. Blackwell restricted and removed access to poll books, ballots, voting machines and other items, and ignored state law regading conduct of recounts, but he has also taken the unusual step of requsting a protective order to shield himself from being interviewed in connection with the conduct of the election.
Most people wait until they are on the witness stand before taking the Fifth Amendment.
We will never have free elections again until we get rid of the machines. Even then, with the apathy of the American people concerning their own democratic voting process, and the bought out press and TV media, it’s doubtful. Our election process needs a major overhaul and the sooner the better. No other country would put up with questionable machine tampering, no paper trail, and optical scanners that can be manipulated. The masses have been lured into complacency. WAKE UP!!! Democracy is in a coma in America!
I was an apathetic non-political 28 year old when I finally got involved, originally in the Kucinich campaign and then the Kerry campaign. Now I volunteer for our State Progressive Caucus. Can’t let it go! :)
Kucinich was the closest thing that I’ve seen to a truly visionary, enlightened presidential candidate in my lifetime. Is it any wonder that the corporate media refused to even acknowledge his existence? He is the type of leader who could bring about real, positive change in the world, forever. A US Department of Peace? Imagine that. Trouble is, there just isn’t much money in peace these days.
Ralph, before I got involved, I believed what the TV was telling me. It wasn’t until I saw how the media slighted Kucinich and how it tore Dean apart once he said he’d break up the media consolidation, I really saw what was going on and then investigated as to why it was that way. When 6 corporations own all of the media and they also own companies that produce weapons, etc., it becomes obvious. Welcome to 1984!!
I hope someday we get a Dept of Peace and that Kucinich gets to head it. :)

Where were all these do gooders when Kennedy stole theelection with all the dead Democrats who voted in Chicago when he beat Nixon.
You guys lost fair and square in 2004. Get over it and get a life. I am a retired Veteran who fought for this great country of ours. Now I sit back in my older age and watch yor Democrats try to destroy it.
27 February 2005, 03:04
Those were probably lies about Kennedy considering what we know of the media now, the same media that lied and said JFK was hit from behind by a single shooter.
I am almost positive that Nixon did steal an election and watergate was just to distract everyone. Like he was trying to cheat but didn’t....sure. It’s the same thing as saying that Dubya and co went through all the trouble of disenfranchising democratic voters, thwarting recounts etc. but they didn’t do it enough to steal it or anything. If they go through all the effort to cheat that they did, clearly they would cheat until they succeeded.
A true veteran would be embarrassed at what our government has done to the military, ruthlessly using them in their war for profit in Iraq.

desperately speechless.
we were fighting for you and yours as much as for ourselves and ours.
we’ve all lost.
i am sad for you when you someday realize....
i know you often receive thanks for your service.
too bad you can not appreciate mine.

This article presents a great overview of why many of us will NEVER believe Bush won the election and the first comment shows exactly who imbecilic and bellicose the supporters of Bush are. There is one simple reason they do not want an investigation: THEY DO NOT WANT TO BE PROVEN WRONG! It’s nothing more than that, I am convinced.
Why Congress will not investigate is another matter altogether. They lack the votes to get any inquiry out of committee. The Republicans on the House Committee on the Judiciary did not participate in John Conyers’ hearings and they had no power despite their findings of massive irregularities, fraud, tampering, disenfranchisement.
The Democratic party is essentially powerless, and hoping for wins in future elections is a pipe dream. NO ELECTIONS IN THE UNITED STATES WILL EVER BE FREE AND FAIR UNLESS WE REMOVE BUSH AND CHENEY FROM OFFICE.
The must either be charged with treason or impeached or be forced to step down by the weight of public outrage. Those are the only options available.
Here are a few more appropriate quotes:
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen. - Samuel Adams
When a government takes over a people’s economic life it becomes absolute, and when it has become absolute it destroys the arts, the minds, the liberties and the meaning of the people it governs. - Maxwell Anderson
The welfare of the people in particular has always been the alibi of tyrants, and it provides the further advantage of giving the servants of tyranny a good conscience. - Albert Camus
Never give in. Never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy. - Sir Winston Churchill
You can only protect your liberties in this world by protecting the other man’s freedom. You can only be free if I am free. - Clarence S. Darrow
The framers of the constitution knew human nature as well as we do. They too had lived in dangerous days; they too knew the suffocating influence of orthodoxy and standardized thought. They weighed the compulsions for restrained speech and thought against the abuses of liberty. They chose liberty. - Justice William O. Douglas
Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety. - Benjamin Franklin

Thank you for defending our country, US Patriots. I appreciate your service because I realize the sacrifices you had to make. My dad was a lieutenant colonel in the Air Force, retiring after the Korean War.
Respectfully, I ask you:
1. Who is cutting veterans’ benefits?
2. Who is trying to dismantle Social Security?
Those are just two issues that you should be concerned about. Remember, US Patriots, there is absolutely no checks and balances in all three branches of government. Democrats cannot be blamed for bad Republican policies or for the destructive path in which this administration is taking us.

Friend: I am the daughter of a Pearl Harbor Vet, who also survived combat in the Phillipines. From him I learned that I must defend freedom every day of my life. My brother left his arms on floor of the jungle in Viet Nam...he died in a VA hospital in Minnesota. My father taught me that I am as much a veteran of war as my brother and as all those fought. Because for those who survive...war never ends.
After Aubu Grieb, my 88 year old father wept. Then he wrote a letter to our local paper...his words will always be in my mind..."What has been done...in my name is not done with out a plan. What you have led our soldiers to do in the name of your war disgraces our military. I know too well that it was your plan to drag my country into shameful acts and brutalize my sons and daughters. You have disgraced me...and all those who have fought..I am ashamed today..and what you have done can not be forgiven..." Friend: You must know that many in the military do not support what is being done...they do not even consider it their war.
Those cruel murders who would torture in our name are not defenders of democracy. They are not really Republican or even conservatives...they are surely not any kind of political animal we have seen come to power in our country before. And they have elevated old fashioned election day ballot box stuffing into the technological realm. Those who have lied, cheated and stolen democracy are radicals. They are... extreme right wing...neo nazi fachists. They are a danger to us all and left unchallenged they would like to lead us into the raputre so they can be left to divide up the the public purse. Wake up. If you don’t they will come for you one day.

Your father is a wise man and a true patriot.

Gee, untold trillions in deficit, soldiers dying to occupy a country that doesn’t want them, money disappearing by the oil-tankerful into the vice-president’s former company vault, suspension of freedoms back home combined with a corporate controlled media, stolen elections and now a raid on your Social Security so you can starve in the dark in your old age...............yeah, those Democrats are bastards. But they did allow the Republicans to do all this without so much as a whimper. So maybe it’s time they were all flushed. Maybe it’s time that the 10 percent of the world that have stolen 90 percent of the wealth were removed from power. No, it won’t happen overnight, but it could start now.

If we, the American people don’t act soon, it may be too late. We need to organize and take to the streets and make our complaints known. I would like to join with you American Patriots. I am not advocating violence but I am advocating action and immediate action. The more time we let pass, the more time THEY have to realize their goal of our domination. Please Americans, the time to ACT is NOW. My children deserve better than for me to pass on slavery instead of freedom.

You may think you are retired... you didn’t hear the news...your man W. is calling you out of retirement to active duty in Baghdad! You wanted him... legally or NOT...you GOT HIM!!

My heart goes out to the American thinkers who like thinkers worldwide know the evil of GW Bush Jr. I am a Canadian who is saddened by what’s going on south of us. Your country was once the envy of all countries including my own. The American spirit was something to behold and marvel at. America was tops bar none. It was a country which billions around the world looked to to change the world into one of peace and prosperity.
Now it is an economy based on the misery of others—a military economy of obscene proportions headed up by individuals who don’t give a damn about the well being of American people. Elections have been tampered with; international terror is on the rise; individual rights are being eroded; education is being dumbed down; the media is hand in glove with government. This is NOT the America we have grown to love and admire.
The entire world is looking to the American thinkers of all political stripes to turn this insanity around. As you go we all go. There will be no winners if the agenda of the present administration is allowed to succeed. Even the perpetrators of this mess will lose—only they’re too fanatical to realize it.

To anyone OUTSIDE of the United States: I beg you to write to YOUR news media to ask for coverage of this scandal.
For me, what is even worse than the failure of Congress to investigate this shameful scandal is the failure of the U.S. Press to do so.
The Conyers report, for example, documented thousands of suspicious episodes in the Ohio vote count. It was barely covered.
The “Mitofsky” restatement that Bush voters were less likely to share their opinion- Unsupported by any data - BUT treated here as if it were Gospel. (See Nightline 1/19/05).
I submit that the U.S. Press has been rendered a toothless servant of the Bush Regime. The prime evidence was the recent FIRING of four top producers and reporters with “CBS 60 Minutes”.
What was their “crime”? They published a memo they BELIEVED TO BE TRUE, which happened to state what everyone knows is true: Bush did not fulfill his military obligation. Result - One prominant Newsman resigns and four are fired after an internal “investigation”
How many WILD charges have been invented by FOX News, for example. The “Swift Boat Veterans” alleged “documentary which claimed that Kerry was something less than a decorated veteran - who investigated the truth of that piece. Who at the NY Times was fired for publishing the lies promoted by the Bush Regime in the run up to the Iraq Invasion without checking the truth of those lies???
It is clear that a journalist risks his career in this country if he exposes the truth.
Is there any new person out there with the guts to tell it like it is? - Not in the U.S.
TO ALL FOREIGN JOURNALISTS: PLEASE HELP US !!!
28 February 2005, 06:04
I agree, we need help from outside the U.S....Canada, France, Germany,Spain etc).We are sending an S.O.S.!! Our media and our Congress have been hijacked. We the people have had to live with a leader who was never elected by us and is killing our Country and the World in so many ways every day.
We are handcuffed and have a gag in our mouths...our words can’t be heard due to the corrupt Congress and Media.
WORLD>>> PLEASE HELP US!!!
WE DID NOT ELECT HIM< WE DO NOT WANT HIM
For your sakes as well as ours....HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I believe most of the assertions that were made in this article, but I don’t see the value in rehashing the problems, unless it is with the intent of reforming the election process. I have noticed that some of the articles and postings from the regressive side have been playing tit-for-tat, saying "Those progressives say we are cheating and suppressing, well look at the terrible things they are getting away with." For example: http://www.nypost.com/postopinion/editorial/40345.htm
I think this is great. Lets agree that we are just as crooked as they are, and push for the reforms Senators Boxer, Clinton and Kerry are proposing.
I believe we are at a turning point in American history. There is a window of opportunity to hijack the election process through control of the machines. Once control is lost, it will never be regained, and we will be just another third-rate faux democracy in the mold of Saddam’s Iraq. The opportunity just happens to be available to the Republicans and their supporters. Too many people on the Republican side are choosing to ignore the threat, thinking that in the short term, the ends justify the means.
Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell recognizes the opportunity. Having stymied the lawfully mandated recount process, he has now exceeded his authority to force local election boards to choose only Diebold or ESS voting machines. Is this in preparation for his bid for governor? What does he know that we don’t?
28 February 2005, 17:52
It is increasingly clear that the American people must start staging MASS PROTESTS in every city, demanding media and public attention to our lost freedoms and the anti-democratic agenda of this government, demanding proper investigations into allegations of fraud and other illegal activities, demanding logic and fairness instead of the current laws designed to suppress.
It did not accomplish anything to try to vote the Bush crooks [and Republican Congress] out of power….they cheated and we are worse off than ever. It is a pipe dream to hope that Republicans in Congress will speak out against their own party, no matter how outrageous the deeds and revelations become…the Republican Congressional members, by not objecting, investigating or speaking out, have proven they are all accomplices to the crimes. It is futile to continue to wait for appropriate news coverage from the mainstream media to inform the public of the outrageous things going on...their hands are apparently tied.
The time to sit, wait and hope for the best is over. Active participation and DEMONSTRATIONS are needed to get the word out and to try to move this country in the right direction.
5 March 2005, 06:45
Massive protests have been staged in large and small cities all over this country numerous occasions and the "news" media or propaganda ministry hushes it up and does not cover it, so how are you going to change that?

Im leaving the US and moving to a Democratic Country.

Taking to the streets is not going to help....the only ones who will even know about such protests in this country are the ones who participate in them. The "news media" has not covered protests since Bush entered office, massive protests in every city have happened on numerous occasions and the media hypes some sporting event or scandal involving a Hollywood, or t.v. personality instead of covering the protests. They are under strict orders from the corporate (Bush supporters) owners (many involved in the military industrial war for profit industries) not to give any air time to these protests by the peasants.....let them eat cake. The rest of the population is content to pretend they do not see what has happened to the press, content to soak up the propaganda, content to fiddle while Rome burns. The country can never recover from the damage that has been done, you are smart to leave this mess...good luck to you.

We need to start mobilizing to put pressure on Bush and his party and seek his imprisonment as well as the senior members of his gang of thugs.
He will go down in history as the "Black President" not because of his skin color, but because of his evil evil evil soul.

Unfortunately, history has always been written by the winners - and if the ’girlie-Bush’ and his mob keep on keeping on, while mouthy but spineless Americans stand by in a cackle gaggle, then the history according to Bush will be nothing that you nor I nor any true American could ever imagine. Besides, when did slaves ever need to learn history in order to do the work of the masters?
You speak of "mobilizing to put pressure on Bush and his party and seek his imprisonment as well as the senior members of his gang of thugs": First of all, we have a man who is insane with greed who has his finger on the button that could and would bring annihiliation to the entire world. He killed 3,000 of us without so much as blinking an eye—he just kept reading ’My Pet Goat’, didn’t he—because it served his purposes - and served them extremely well; what makes you think this monster wouldn’t joyfully nuke any large gathering of Americans and then use the same media lapdogs to recast a new and greater slaughter of Americans as an event for all those blissful ’girlie-Bushies’ out there to blame another or similar caveman who can never be caught because he died several years previously?
The same people who concocted the lies about weapons of mass destruction are the same people who concocted the lies about caveman combat causing 9/11 - the same people who use the genuine piety of our own unsuspecting citizen neighbors against us; however, these same people are telling all of us, you and me, that we are in the minority. Do you believe it? I don’t! I don’t believe we are in the minority any more than I believe Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction that were an IMMINENT threat to Americans.
How many times have Americans come together to fight for legitimate freedom and democracy? These punks in power don’t represent Republicans OR Democrats, and they sure as hell don’t represent America nor American values and ideals; they represent only the few and the cowardly. The only way to defeat them is for every righteous American—and I mean every Citizen who ever voted Republican or Democrat, or chose never to vote at all because of disgust with the whole damned system—to speak with the relatives and neighbors they trust. And soon there will be local movements throughout this Nation, and each Local Movement will eventually tie together with other adjacent movements, and sooner than anyone may believe, D E M O C R A C Y will arise again in this Nation, and the cowards in charge will have to make a choice: Either deal with it, or run.
Janice Joplin sang a little tune called "Me and Bobby McGee," and a part of one refrain was: "Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose. Nothin’......it ain’t nothin’, babe, if it ain’t free!" I’m just about to the point where there’s nothin’ left to lose. Maybe there are one or two other Americans who feel the same way! Why don’t we all start talking with those we trust, and find out?
The most important thing is: We need to get it going and get it done. N O W!!! And that includes all you Red State Rebs, out there, who’s proud to be an American!

Yankee, well said. Gee, how long do you think it would take to muster up the numbers of YOU it would take to overcome the neocon agenda? And a leader. There must be a leader who has the charisma to bring it all together. Unfortunately, I don’t see any Democrats on the horizon who could and would be prepared to take on the challenge. In fact, most of them have been complicit in the neocon plans. I mean, can you believe that the Democrats didn’t even read the Patriot Act before passing it! And were they not complicit in giving the president the power to go into Iraq at HIS discretion? As for 911, there’s a smell about it that I think should give us all concern and perhaps that’s what needs to be looked—well beyond what the Commission’s report tells us. I think we agree that Bush could not have pulled off what he did and will continue to do without the able assistance of corporate media. Another step we should take is to turn off the television set—refuse to be engaged in the propaganda. Ours is a capitalistic society which we can use to our advantage.
I understand the original subject was fraudulent elections, but the disease is rooted in America’s foreign policy which has been pretty much the same over the last several decades. As that dear man, Noam Chomsky, says, the Democrats and Republicans are really the two sides of the same coin. It’s just that Junior’s megalomaniacal actions and horrific persona have brought it all to the fore. In some ways we should be grateful to the beast.
Lest you think that I think that Canada is all that great, forget it! We have a neocon sector here too that would sell all our souls to the devil—for a price paid not by them but by the Canadian tax payer. No, we are not above the fray. But our country is so small (population) that we’re not even a blip on the radar screen. Yours is the big power and as I said in an earlier post, as you go, so do we all.

Sping and Summer are coming. Once the weather gets better, Americans will take to the streets.
11 March 2005, 23:20
You poor souls. WE did take to the streets. Hundred upon hundreds in many small cities. One common denominator was the desire for freedom. Your very ilk spoke this same treasonous filth when Churchill wanted us to help Europe in WWII. Should Roosevelt had buckled to your kind, your freedome of speech would not exist. If our enemy wins, with the help of your kind, there will be no freedom. From under you Burka’s you’d have to voice your thoughts through mental telelpathy. The sad thing is that it would not be your kind to rise up and fight them. You’d hide and let us on the right fight for your right to say this junk. May God have mercy on all of you. Becareful what you ask for, you just might get it.
