  Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice had no previous experience to qualify her for this position. This woman is a disgrace to the American people and those of her race should be ashamed of her lack of interest of this disaster, Katrina. She should have cancelled her vacation and been there to give aid and advice. Where is the governments’ responsiblilty and compassion for the people?

    The answer to your question is that Bush and his neocon associates have as much compassion as a hungry alligator, as much pity as Bush showed for all the convicts he executed, and as much concern about poor people affected by Katrina as Dick Cheney and Dennis Hastert...namely, none. Bush has never accepted any responsibility, any blame, for any action since he was born. He depends on personality, on charm, on swaggering, glad-handing, making religious references, and allowing corporations to make as much profit as possible. He is an egomaniac, probably a dry-drunk, and his narcissism knows no bounds.
    Condi, as Bush’s Black Angel of Death exists to give platitudes about Freedom and Democracy while overlooking killing, destruction, corruption and the shame of being Bush’s sycophant token black. She has the gall to threaten Iran and Syria and any other country that meets with Bush’s disapproval.

    I disagree with your evaluation of Condoleezza Rice. The New York fashion watchers did not like Condi’s boots now they attact her for buying a pair of shoes? Perhaps she broke a heel, or something.

    Condoleezza is doing a great job as Secretary of State, and she may well be the first black president of the United States, and the first woman and she is really up to the job, I feel. I’m tired of rich spoiled kids getting into the White House where they can protect their own interests, like Bill Clinton opening up Grand Canyon National Park to real estate developers catering to the super rich or Bush catering to oil investors.

    Condoleezza Rice grew up into music for her church, became famious fixing University Budgets, and is a woman who will not forget her humble beginnings should she become in charge. She has super rich powerful imternational unknown shadow government people running scared because they know she has a shot at being the 44th president of the United States, and they are feeding the American Black Community no end of nonsense in an effort to keep her out.

    How can people devalue her for shoping for one pair of shoes? A lot of women I know claim to do their best problem solving thinking while shopping (?) you guys are going to denigh this country a much needed Black Woman President because she felt a need for new shoes? Is that really the way you feel?

    Kindasleezy is an oil company employee with a super tanker named after her. She is there working for the oil companies....have you asked yourself why oil stocks have risen to the top of the Wall Street wonders chart? Have you asked yourself how come all of the oil companies are making billions of dollars in profit every month, more profit than they have ever made before? Have you asked yourself if there is any possible connection to the fact that most of the Bu$hco administration are oil company employees before (still) they came to power? Have you asked yourself if it was such a good idea to allow the oil company employees to get into the power positions in the government? Have you asked yourself about the true reasons for the Iraq war? Could it have been the oil all along?

    You must be an ignorant twit to come here and defend sleazy, she needs no defence from you, all she wants is your money and that of every other American....you just don’t get it do you.....its all about the money with Bu$hco....there are no honest or capable people in office....they are ALL CROOKS.

    Super Tanker named after Condi, thats all she wanted? Do you really believe that?

    You have a good point, oil prices will stay up as long as the Bush family has anything to say about it. But I’m talking about Condoleezza. I see her as a bit of a dark horse in the administration.

    When she went to Africa she really visited the womens prison camps and made it clear to the General that rape etc. would not be tolerated. Things like that should stand for something.

    When your a "hired hand", if you want to stick around you do what’s expected. When you get to be top dog, then and only then can you do the expecting.

    The Bush family is and has been for quite awhile, a Texas oil family. Condoleezza is from a churh family and she has deep roots in church music. The country has not had a President as fundamental as Condoleezza since Abe Lincoln.

    After she gets into the White House, everyone’s going to swear they voted for her.

  During and after the hurricane, Bush, Rice, Rumsfeld, Cheney, and other top Bush officials demonstrated a total lack of concern for human suffering.

  The wealthy elite who run America, including Condi Rice, see no problem with spending thousands of dollars on shoes while other citizens drown after a disaster.

  It is time to impeach Bush and put all those in his administration on trial for war crimes.
