Bushman and Gannon, the boys wonder?

Americablog has been pounding away at this and points to the BBC in this brief:

TIME mag White House correspondent tells BBC that GannonGuckert story has "sex, national security, intrigue" - but then Time doesn’t cover it. Bravo.

According to Matthew Cooper, the White House correspondent for Time Magazine, Washington has been lapping up this case of sex and subterfuge in the city.

"It’s got everything that gets gossip going. It’s got sex, it’s got national security, how did he get so close to the president? The pseudonym, it’s got intrigue, so it’s the kind of thing that gets people talking," Mr Cooper said.
But apparently not writing, as Time has chosen not to write about the story that it says has it all, and has all of Washington talking.

As people awaken from their television slumbers, the question everyone is asking is, where’s the "big" media? The la times has some suggestions, but most internet users realize the corp. press has been compromised and/or censored(self).

Why have big media been largely silent about Gannon flap?
John Aravosis suggests three possible reasons: Trepidation about gays, sex and power; reverse liberal guilt; and blogophobia. "The lack of coverage plays into the hands of the White House," he says.

But now it turns out that Gannon is not only a fake, but also a male prostitute who has posted salacious nude photos of himself on such Web sites as http://www.militarystud.com to lure young military men into his services as an "escort." How perfect for this holier-than-thou administration to be represented by this phony reporter selling his studly services on pornographic Web sites. So, I wonder, along with Ms. Albaugh, not only where The Tribune has been on this scandalous story, but also where all those vindictive right-wing pundits are who so mercilessly went after Bill Clinton for his peccadillos in the Oval Office. Certainly the Gannon story deserves equal scrutiny and censure.
