CHENEY FLOATS ANOTHER HOT AIR BALLON

The Lone Gunman of Armstrong Ranch, the 21st Century’s answer to Jock and JR. Ewing’s Southfork Ranch of the TV hit "Dallas", has floated yet another hot air balloon to an apparently easily duped Evan Thomas of Newsweek. Pawning off yet more pulp fiction for Big Dick , Thomas cites "close Cheney aides" pawning off a tale in which the Veep and his family started taking the anti-anthrax drug Cipro a few weeks after 9/11 - when a suspicious missive showed up in the Vice -President’s mail sack. Sorry Richard you received warning from Dr. Jerome Hauer the evening of 9/11/01. Hauer , a man blessed with unparalleled powers of divination , warned Bush , Cheney, and the Cabinet to get on Cipro - well in advance of the the first anthrax letter arriving on the doorstep of it’s first fatal recipient. Evan must be credited for pointing out that no one believed Cheney’s 9/11 Commission testimony in which the Veep claimed he received authorisation from his ward , George to shoot down commercial aircraft on the morning of 9/11. Thomas neglects to mention the not small detail that Bush and Cheney testified together before that commission therefore it stands to reason that not only Cheney was lying but so was Bush ,who backed up those lies. Cheney was obviously horrified that Bush would screw up the agreed upon cover story and was prepared to offer "guidance" when Bush screwed the pooch. (The cover story) There was no shoot-down order from Bush or Cheney. Or perhaps to put it more precisely , it was agreed upon by Cheney and NORAD - prior to 9/11- that any such order would not be be acted upon. The only shootdown order came from one of Cheney’s secret service men who took the authority to order f-16 fighter jets stationed at nearby Andrews Air Force Base to protect DC airspace. Of course this order , coming at 10:45 am, came well after the flying airplane bombs , under apparent Pentagon control, did their fatal and bloody work . Bush and Cheney freely admit they were not aware of the scrambling of jets at Andrew AFB. In gratitude for his "insubordination" , General Ralph Eberhardt ,head of NORAD, was promoted to "protecting" the whole of North America.
