The appearance of fully-armed mercenaries on the streets of New Orleans tells us that the city is currently under occupation. Whenever foreign troops are deployed within an urban area it can only mean one thing; the loss of sovereignty. It’s no different here. Blackwater mercenaries are part of a privately owned army that has seized control of the streets from their rightful owners, the people of New Orleans. They are an integral part of a much broader plan to militarize (…)

It was revealed this week that the secret service purchased for use by high level officials, including President and Laura Bush, defective bullet-proof (…) -

My case is not important. But what happened to me when I was ejected from the Labour conference - simply for a one-word protest during Jack Straw’s speech this week - tells us there is something deeply wrong with the culture of our Government under Tony Blair.
We have been lied to about the war. But not only that. The party has been manipulated so that it has not been allowed to discuss the issue properly.
Indeed, the Labour leaders have got so nervous of criticism (…) -

This following sentence caught my attention in that “Booze Crisis” article in the National Enquirer where it stated, “Bush, who said he quit drinking the morning after his 40th birthday, has started boozing amid the Katrina catastrophe.”
I am of the opinion that his addiction to alcohol and his use of it have always been problematic for him.
What leads me to say this is the picture that was released the morning after his alleged choking incident involving that (…) -

2 commentsCriminally indicted former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay yesterday laid out a strong case...against himself.
Each of the points below were spoken verbatim by DeLay during an interview last night on Fox News (we’ve compiled them all into a single video). If this is his "defense," he’s in serious trouble.

Cindy Sheehan has aroused several hundred conservative bloggers, all determined to Swiftboat her in very strong terms. It seems that she met with Senator John McCain, and later called him a “war-monger.” This, to a loyal Bush supporter is intolerable.
She and several supporters met with John McCain. She said that McCain simply told the group what George Bush might have said, and that she didn’t believe his answers to her questions. She stated: “He is a warmonger, and (…)
