    The rumors are true this time. I was arrested in front of the White House today. It was my first time ever being arrested.
    We proceeded from Lafayette Park to the Guard House at the White House. I, my sister, and other Gold Star Families for Peace members and some Military Families requested to meet with the President again. We again wanted to know: What is the Noble Cause?     Does having Cindy Sheehan arrested and hauled off to the pokey to be photographed and finger-printed make you feel like a man, Dubya? Is this payback for Cindy’s Camp Casey in Crawford?

    I have been thinking for a while now that the Democrats really should sit down and consider changing their mascot from a donkey to a marmot. A rodent really is more emblematic of their provincial habits than a donkey could ever be. Think about it.     Producer/director Ron Howard is now bringing to the screen, Dan Brown’s best-selling novel, The Da Vinci Code. With 25 million copies in print, internationally, the book has been breaking all records for adult fiction, even though the only version available is a hardback, selling for $24.95 a copy. And there are no plans for Doubleday to bring out a paperback version any time soon, since sales are only expected to climb, as the publicity for the movie kicks in.

    WASHINGTON - Cindy Sheehan, the California woman who has used her son’s death in Iraq to spur the anti-war movement, was arrested Monday while protesting outside the White House.
    Sheehan and several dozen other protesters sat down on the sidewalk after marching along the pedestrian walkway on Pennsylvania Avenue. Police warned them three times that they were breaking the law by failing to move along, then began making arrests.
