The New York Times has had some remarkable coverage about Senator Feingold’s censure resolution. Remarkable in its naivete and lack of balance.
Today’s Times featured an editorial entitled, "Time for Facts, Not Resolutions," suggesting that:" [T]he censure proposal is a bad idea. Members of Congress don’t need to take extraordinary measures like that now.
They need to fulfill their sworn duty to investigate the executive branch’s misdeeds and failings." Just how exactly does the New York (…)

LEARNING NOTHING FROM HISTORY
18 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)

By Peter Fredson
March 18, 2006
Having learned nothing from history, Bush is determined to repeat the worst of it. He loves to stay a course, especially if the first time it was a failure. Bush will try again and again. That may be laudable for character, but it also reflects stupidity, sheer ignorance and a fondness for fantasy over reality.
It reflects the bubble of isolation in which Bush lives, surrounded by sycophants who are determined to put a positive (…) -

Paul Joseph Watson/Prison Planet.com | March 18 2006
In an amazing development that has received almost no media attention, mainstream or alternative, President Bush again placed himself above the law and wilfully violated the Constitution by signing into law a bill that didn’t pass both Houses of Congress.
According to representative Henry Waxman, Bush signed into law a (…) -

A year ago Tamiflu was known, if at all, as an obscure remedy for influenza, which doctors typically treat with bed rest and chicken soup. Today, with panic mounting over a potential bird flu pandemic, it’s the most sought-after drug in the world, as everyone from suburban soccer moms in the U.S. to health officials in London and Taipei scramble to stockpile the pill. At the moment, it seems, virtually the entire world is on sick-chicken alert.

Related: Why Milosevic Was Murdered
Slobodan Milosevic’s son today claimed his father was murdered, as he arrived in the Netherlands to collect the former Serbian president’s body. "He got killed, he didn’t die. He got killed. There is a murder," Marko Milosevic told the Associated Press.
Milosevic died in his prison cell on Saturday, months from an expected verdict in his war crimes and crimes against humanity trial in The Hague.
A post-mortem by Dutch (…) -
KATHERINE HARRIS & DUBYA : FOUR BIG BOOBS !
17 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
From all appearances , it would seem that Madame Vote Stealer , aka Rep. Katherine Harris of the Sunshine State, has decided to `implant ’ herself as the next junior Senator from the great State of Florida .... The women suddenly looks like Dolly Parton ..... Speaking of boobs , George W. Bush appears hell- bent to reprise every impeachable offence countenanced by all 42 predecessors. ..... Remember John Adams , the recently canonnised saint owing to the good offices of author (…)

3 commentsTom Harkin: Why I Fully Support Bush Censure
We have a President who likes to break things. He has broken the federal budget, running up $3 trillion in new debt. He has broken the Geneva Conventions, giving the green light to torture. He has repeatedly broken promises - and broken faith - with the American people. And now, worst of all, he has broken the law.
In brazen violation of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), he ordered the National Security Agency to conduct (…) -

Deja Ides of March
By Peter Fredson
March 16, 2006
Is it that time again? We realize that for George Bush it has never stopped being that time. The neocon cowardly war-hawks, who love aggression, bullying, preemption, blood and thunder (as long as it does not personally touch them), instead of lust for sex, have lust for power, wealth and world dominion. Back in 2000 A.D. the Leo Straussian fans were convinced that preemptive strikes were necessary on Iraq, Iran, Syria and any others (…) -
THE DLC : PROTECTING MASTER BUSH & HIS DICKTATOR
16 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsThe quislings that routinely masquerade as an Opposition Party are afraid of censuring George W. Bush . ?... Afraid to censure Bush & Dick ?... There’s no case ... Huh ? The constant refrain : Only the "kooks" are pushing this revolutionary crackpot scheme. ... Of course one must remember this is a party that has already decided to nominate "John Bolton" democrat , Hillary Rodham Clinton. ..... Why the other Democrats bother to run beggars the imagination. Hillary , the (…)
