I was familiar with the content of compañero Raúl’s report to the 6th Congress of the Party. He had shown it to me a few days previously on his own initiative, as he has done on many other occasions without me asking him to because, as I already explained, I had delegated all my responsibilities within the Party and the state in the proclamation of July 2006.
Doing so was a duty that I did not hesitate for a second to fulfill.
I knew that the state of my health was serious, but I felt (…)

Canada: Israel’s New Military Ally
4 April 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
Why Canada has made itself Israel’s new friend on the block By Lia Tarachansky
It used to be that when you counted Israel’s top allies, the obvious names came to mind: Germany, the UK and, of course, the US. These days, Canada seems determined to soar to the top of that list, confirming the judgment of Avigdor Lieberman, Israel’s Foreign Minister. While visiting Canada in 2009 he said, “Canada is so friendly that there was no need to convince or explain anything to anyone… We need allies (…) -
THE OBAMA DOCTRINE: THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS
31 March 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
A JAZZMAN CHRONICLE. DISSEMINATE FREELY.
“It is time to become what American principles and values insist that we must become. It is time to be what our leaders have always claimed that we were: a beacon of justice, human rights and democracy. It is time to fulfill the promise of our forefathers. Our destiny cannot and must not be to dominate the world but rather to improve the lot of human kind.”

Timeline of events
October 6, 2011
Nouri Mesmari turned himself over to the French secret service and, according to the Italians, he masterminded the revolution against Gaddafi. The document was leaked to Italian newspaper Libero.
In the documents, the French secret services refer to Mesmari as ‘The Libyan Wikileak’ because he gave them all the inside information about the regime as well as account of who’s who in Libya and who they should or should not contact.
With all the inside (…) -
AMERICA IS DEAD
15 March 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
6 commentsIn the opening paragraph of my most recent Pravda.Ru article WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE (03/03/11, hereinafter WORKERS), I warned that there was “a battle going on in the United States, and it is not hyperbole to suggest that it is a battle for the very soul of the nation.”
That battle is over;
And America is dead:
As a land of the free;
As a nation of justice for all;
As a democracy;
As a haven for free thought and expression;
As a bastion of human rights;
As a government (…) -
Activists & pro-gas Oz Government’s Carbon Tax-ETS-Ignore Agriculture (CTETSIA) climate inaction plan
4 March 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
Pro-peace, pro-environment, pro-human rights Australians are appalled by the betrayal of pro-peace, pro-environment, pro-human rights Australians and Labor voters by the successive pro-war, pro-coal, pro-gas, human rights-abusing Rudd and Gillard Labor Governments.
Now pro-environment Australians are witnessing Australian climate activism organizations going "soft" by lending support to the pro-gas Gillard Labor Australian Government’s Carbon Tax-ETS-Ignore Agriculture (CTETSIA) Plan that (…) -
Fidel Castro’s Reflections: NATO’s Inevitable War
4 March 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
Cuban Revolution leader said that in contrast with what is happening in Egypt and Tunisia, Libya occupies the first spot on the Human Development Index for Africa and it has the highest life expectancy on the continent. Education and health receive special attention from the State. The cultural level of its population is without a doubt the highest. Its problems are of a different sort.

Home Of The ‘Brave’ Imperialists?
4 March 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
“Let’s just call a spade a spade. A no-fly zone begins with an attack on Libya to destroy the air defenses … Then you can fly planes around the country and not worry about our guys being shot down,” he told a congressional hearing.
Friends, this astounding statement came from Robert Gates, the U.S. Defense Secretary, one of the warlords of the Obama Administration. What he’s saying is that the U.S. must destroy all the air defenses which surround military airports and probably around many (…) -
Letter of march to Obama.
3 March 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
Mr President Obama The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue N.W.
Washington DC 20500.
Mr President,
I would like to begin this letter with a poem written by one of the Cuban Five, Antonio Guerrero, when he was locked up in solitary confinement at the Oklahoma Federal Prison, waiting for his next transfer. This was one year ago.
A poem of hope, that pays homage to the international solidarity movement that is growing ever stronger, asking (…) -
Labor Government of world-leading per capita GHG polluter Australia commits to climate change inaction
27 February 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentAustralia is a world leader in annual per capita greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution. Notwithstanding the political rhetoric and spin that they are “tackling climate change”, the pro-coal, pro-gas, pro-oil, anti-science, Australian Gillard Labor Government is overwhelmingly committed to climate change inaction as revealed by the latest Gillard Labor spin on a Carbon Tax and an Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS).
Labor policy is for a 5% reduction on 2000 greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution by 2020. (…)
