James Fetzer, PhD: The Congress is Corrupt (1.5 min mp3

)

"This man, this administration has committed so many impeachable offenses that if the Congress had any guts, any integrity, any intestinal fortitude, any committment to the Constitution he would have been subject to impeachment a long time ago.

What that means is the Congress has to be re-constituted, the Congress has been co-opted, the Congress is completely corrupt. You have to vote, whether Democrat or Republican, vote every one of them out of office unless they can justify being returned, and you better have very stringent standards for that.

If you’re using electronic voting machines you can forget it. They’re all controlled by Republican corporations, they’re dirty, they manipulate the vote. These guys learned from Stalin, who said it doesn’t matter who casts the vote, it matters who counts them.

The electronic voting machines, and I’m an expert in this field, are so easily contrived it’s ridiculous, it’s shameful. Anyone who tells you that those electronic voting machines are a good thing is denying you your democratic right to cast your vote, they are traitors to the country.

The Full 2hr Interview is 20mb, too much for many to download. So I made some short clips (the longest 6 minutes in length, 784kb - ie zero to minimal wait time for all)

One might also consider mixing these st911 clips in a music cd- lots of free peace songs here.

  • If "con" is the opposite of "pro," then Congress is the opposite of progress. This explains why America seems hellbent on returning to the Dark Ages.

    • Are you saying there is no hope? Since the Diebold machines are in every state of the union, how will we know whether anyone who wins any Congressional election, not just a presidential election, is a legitimate representative of the people? The Congress of the US is obviously as corrupt as the Bush administration, and for the future of the nation, they need to be thrown out. Are you saying that even if the great majority of the people were to vote these parasitic cowards out, it wouldn’t make a difference, since the outcome has been pre-ordained by those in power, those who control the Diebold machines?
      The preceding questions were rhetorical. I believe very strongly that the only way that the people of the US will ever again gain control of their destiny is through an economic purge, a non-violent purging of the Federal Government due to the collapse of the US dollar. No glorious revolution will occur through popular elections, for the reasons Dr. Fetzer outlined. The vox populi will continue to be muted as it has been for a very long time.
      The US Federal Government is mighty because of two reasons: the entire world invests in its treasury to the tune of $2.1 trillion a year, a vast amount of money without which this gargantuan monster wouldn’t be able to operate, and the fact that the majority of the world’s largest oil exporters use the US dollar for their currency of choice. Nothing more than that.
      The US GDP’s annual growth rate has been averaging out at 3.3% for the last 15 years, much lower than the World’s GDP, which has been growing by a rate of 5.5% annually. America is no longer the manufacturing behemoth of the planet; America is no longer the bread basket of the world; America is fast losing its position as the world’s scientific and technological leader as well. No thanks to Bush, no thanks to Congress. These other facts help bolster the claim that the US dollar has been riding on thin air for a long time: the US dollar is the most overvalued commodity in the entire world. Then tack on a monstrously enormous national debt of $8.2 trillion, and you will soon see why the US will find it impossible to pay back any of this debt even in the long term future. Why on earth would any central bank officer in China or Japan still be sending hundreds of billions of dollars annually to the US treasury you might ask, if they will never earn any kind of profit on their investment? To keep their own economies growing, you might say, by maintaining the world’s largest consumer market.
      Ah, but here’s the rub: The Chinese, the Russians and the Indians have in the last 15 years created vast consumer markets of their own, and if taken together, would dwarf the US consumer market. These countries could easily re-invest those hundreds of billions dollars currently sitting in the US treasury doing nothing for them (what patsies these central bankers really are!) into their own economies, accelerating their growth even further, out distancing the US in less than five years.
      Once these national central banks start withdrawing their trillons from the US treasury, the Bush administration will become even more aggressive in its foreign policy than ever before, simply because the US has only a very big stick, its military, to make its case any where in the world, since the carrot, the promise of economic growth for investors, has long been rotten. The US is almost all stick and no carrot, and the sooner the rest of the world finds out, the sooner the day of reckoning will come.

  • Find out what happened in your state in the last election. Did the numbers add up?

    Alaska found obvious discrepencies in the vote totals and precint numbers and people who care are still fighting to find out what happened. Everyone needs to take a look at their own state and raise awareness and demand accountability NOW- before this coming November!
