Wars and conflicts USA South/Latin America

There’s an old adage, which holds true from Star War’s Tatuine to Algeria and from the sands of Iraq to the Mexican border at Loredo,TX.:

"The little guy, if determined enough, will beat the big guy every time"

Nowhere is this more evident than in actions by our own Bush administration. We went to Afghanistan and Iraq with F-16s, stealth bombers, helicopters with gattling guns, rockets and missiles, 130,000 troops, drones, spy satellites, humvess, Bradleys, tanks, depleted uranium shells, cluster bombs and white phosphor, yada yada yada...the whole bloody nine yards, and still we couldn’t put down a few thousands of rag-tag, sweat shirted, tennis shoe’d rambling rebels or terrorists or whatever the current nome de jour.

Likewise, on our border with Mexico, Bush is loading things up to fight the endless hoard of drug smugglers and poor starving Latinos pouring into the US of A. Despite all efforts which involve planes and jeeps and spotters and police, and soon to be joined by the National Guard and drones....it’s evident that the storied "little guy" is still comin’, still determined, and all of George Bush’s gathered forces cannot stop them.

Right or wrong, that’s the obvious reality. The plain fact of life here is this: Sometimes there are NO solutions to life’s problems.
