The purpose of the war on terror is to eliminate extremism. Invading and occupying another country Ie. iraq breeds this extremism. There we’nt as many terrorists in iraq until we occupied there country and caused this instabhility.
Bush manipulated us into this war through 9-11 and othe scary facts which turned out to be untrue. Even though bush planned to go to war through his whole election and presidency it seems the simplist things keep getting screwed up. Not enough troops, no (…)

Nero fiddled as Rome burned, 68 A.D.
3 September 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentSeems like the current President is taking a page out of Emperor Nero’s book from nearly 2,000 years ago (64 A.D.).
You see, in 64 A.D. Rome experienced a major fire throught the city under Nero’s watch. Some say he had the city set ablaze.
What do you know, there were many ambitious reconstruction projects started soon after this fire.
What was Nero doing? Performing on stage, much to the chagrin of artists and citizens alike.
But then, in the year 68 A.D. the man committed suicide. (…) -
Detalied Report on pre-war statements by Bush Admin: "There is No Doubt" they lied

NEW YORK - Beneath the giant dome of a Baghdad palace, facing his team of scientists and engineers, George Tenet sounded more like a football coach than a spymaster, a coach who didn’t know the game was over.
"Are we 85 percent done?" the CIA boss demanded. The arms hunters knew what he wanted to hear. "No!" they shouted back. "Let me hear it again!" They shouted again.
The weapons are out there, Tenet insisted. Go find them. (…) -

Fifteen percent of the world population is under threat of eviction for a series of reasons: foreign investment in countries with heavy debts, privatizations of the housing sector, deregulation of rented accommodation, ethnic cleansing, wars and occupation, as well as commercial speculation of natural disasters. Although Target 11 of the United Nations Millennium Development Goal 7 aims at improving the living conditions of at least 100 million (…) -
CORRUPTION-US: Halliburton Whistleblower Demoted
3 September 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
by William Fisher
NEW YORK, Whistleblowers — those who go public with allegations of waste, fraud and abuse — continue to have a tough time, despite a law protecting them and repeated assurances from the White House, many government agencies and Congress that they maintain a policy of zero tolerance for retaliation.
The latest victim of apparent retaliation is Bunnatine H. "Bunny" Greenhouse, the senior contracting officer for the Army Corps of Engineers, who objected — first, (…) -
Where will the water come from?
3 September 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
By Amira Hass
For about 10 years, Omar and Khaled of Khan Yunis - who until recently worked in the hothouses of the settlers in Muasi (Gush Katif) - "hitched a ride" on Israeli water statistics. While they worked in the hothouses, they could enjoy clean, clear water that flowed straight from the faucet, and to feel the tremendous difference when compared to the water awaiting them in the faucets at home.

Jewish gunman was no terrorist, Israel rules
3 September 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
by Chris McGreal in Jerusalem
Four Arab Israelis shot dead by a soldier opposed to the closure of the Gaza Strip settlements are not victims of "terror" because their killer was Jewish, Israel’s defence ministry has ruled, and so their families are not entitled to the usual compensation for life.
The ministry concluded that the law only recognises terrorism as committed by "organisations hostile to Israel" even though the prime minister, Ariel Sharon, described the killings by Private (…) -
Iraq’s fig leaf constitution

by Robert Scheer
Who lost Iraq? Someday, as a fragmented Iraq spirals further into religious madness, terrorism and civil war, there will be a bipartisan inquiry into this blundering intrusion into another people’s history.
The crucial question will be why a "preemptive" American invasion - which has led to the deaths of nearly 2,000 Americans, roughly 10 times as many Iraqis, the expenditure of about $200 billion and incalculable damage to the United States’ global reputation - has had (…) -

THE SHIP OF STATE IS SUNK
by Mark Kato
If anyone has had any doubts about George W. Bush’s utter lack of leadership, the disaster now visiting New Orleans and Biloxi should provide ample proof that this man who many believe illegally inhabits the White House is unfit to be President of the United States of America. Indeed, George W. Bush is unfit to be dogcatcher, and it would be an insult to the canine world if he held such a modest office. In equal measure, but infinitely more (…) -

Dear sirs,
I am writing to you to draw your attention to the tens of Iraqis that are being killed every day by the air raids performed by USA troops in the Al-Ramadi province west of Baghdad. This series of barbaric raids started in April 2004 in which few hundreds civilians were killed and few thousands were injured. That massacre was followed by another much bigger one in Nov. 2004 in which 10 times the casualties were incurred (…)
