Governments USA

No one is saying one way or the other but I find it extremely interesting to note that not one word has come from the Vice President concerning Katrina nor has he been seen in the media.
Also...

I visited his "fan club" website and all they would say when asked where Cheney was is..."undisclosed location ?".

Question mark,theirs.

  • He was mentioned in articles online as being at the Rose Garden on Saturday, with Rove on the sidelines.

Rummy was standing where the VP ought to be.

I found only one photo of him on Yahoo, supposedly taken Saturday at the RG Damage Control Briefing, er, RG Address.

WASHINGTON, DC, United States (UPI) — U.S. President Bush said Vice President Dick Cheney is going to areas affected by Hurricane Katrina to ensure bureaucracy is not slowing recovery efforts.

Bush, speaking after a Cabinet meeting Tuesday at the White House, said Cheney would arrive in the Gulf Coast Thursday to ’assess our recovery efforts’ and meet with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff

’He`ll work with Secretary Chertoff and others to make sure that we remove any obstacles, bureaucratic obstacles that may be preventing us from achieving our goals. In other words, bureaucracy is not going to stand in the way of getting the job done for the people.’

Much of the U.S. Gulf Coast was devastated last week by Hurricane Katrina, which reached shore with 145 mph winds and caused a levee breach that flooded New Orleans.

Bush earlier said his ’goals’ were to complete search and recovery, restoration of essential services, drain floodwater and remove debris and assess public health matters.

He also said he intends to leads an investigation into the response by local, state and federal officials to the emergency.

  • I just heard on CNN that Cheney will be visiting "the planned devastatoin" next week.

    • Yes, so far, everything is going according to script. Eliminate the ’non-productive’ poor, drown or starve them out. Doesn’t matter. Occupy and control a major distribution center vital to the northern producing states. What a perfect scenario for martial law. Afterall, isn’t this the reason for the ’unpatriot act’? Unlimitrd power to government. Bend over and grasp your knees folks, the worse is yet to come! Good luck!!
