And sometimes we need to believe we can sleep in, as it were, to take a day off from worrying about the very real possibility of the police targeting and killing our families, our children. Wouldn’t Christmas weekend be a good time? And then reality hits. No, of course not.

This system actively seeks the death of our black and brown children, and routinely exonerates itself for their murder, both at home and around the globe. We owe it no allegiance, and owe no apology or (further) explanation for our visceral hatred of and unwavering opposition to that system. On the contrary, we expect and demand that *you* will not only stop demanding apology and explanation from us, and take the logical next step required of you by any standard of truth, compassion, and human decency. Don’t ask us what we are doing over here. What are *you* doing on the other side of the bars?

And before you buy into the next R2P bullshit genocide project against the latest hitler-du-jour, consider that you are being a fool and are being played for such. There is no human rights abuse more severe than that being inflicted by your own government and society; and there is no human rights campaign more worthy of support than to join us in standing up against the greatest evil the world has ever known.
