  Yes, the Patriots should remember that our Ancestors came here in the pursuit of Freedom and Opportunity. To get out of their Native Countries just like Millions of people want to migrate here today. We are the Nation that helps more Nations than any other. We supply 22 percent of the operating expense to the UN. We are usually there when any country needs us. We do have a lot to be grateful for. Count your Blessings that you can Blog here with your ideas, freely. Thank a soldier for protecting that Freedom and Thank Pres Bush for hiring the greatest people to wear the uniform to protect you personally. Light a couple of Fire Crackers, I know I will.

    This communication sound suspiciously familiar. a lurker I know, perhaps?.surely the rhetoric is identical.

    I will thank George Bush for zilch. He sent over 2500 of our young soldiers to die for nothing but the concerns and interests of our corporations. Freedom had nothing to do with it. It was only the last ditch "explanation" made by Bush when the WMD story didn’t wash.

    Thousands more of our troops have been seriously wounded and/or suffer from PTSS...and perhaps even Depleted Uranium poisoning...for which they’ll get no help.

    Immigrants came to this country in the beginning to get away from opressive regimes and start a better life. Now they come just to make a buck...often illigitimately and illegally.

    We have become the ogre of the world; bully, interloper, and greedy grabbers of what’s left of the world’s resources.

  Patriots should remember that there is a enemy from within are government controled by the global elite that want to destroy are constitution and are democracy. They want one level world government where they are on top of the pyramid and the rest of us are slaves to the 1% that control 90% of the wealth. Your sons and daughters are being killed and mained to protect the wealth of the 1%.   Patriotism is not flag flying or supporting war or troops or believing official LIES of governments. Patriotism is DOING something that makes your country a BETTER PLACE.

  Americans have been trying for 6 years to rid this nation of the greatest menace since Hitler and Stalin. Thus far they’ve been unsuccessful. But they are the TRUE PATRIOTS of the US. Not the "war concocters". Not the administration.

  Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Paine, all knew that power corrupts and absoulte power corrupts absolutely. Living proof of this is George W. Bush. The true PATRIOTS are those who oppose this tyranny and desecration of the US Constitution; those who oppose illegal invasions of other nations; those who oppose torture or indefinite detention, without charge, of innocent people. They that OPPOSE these things are the TRUE PATRIOTS of the US.

  The Iraq invasion is A LIE. It was founded upon LIES as was the invasion of Afghanistan and they both remain LISE to this day. American soldiers have been murdered for LIES. Hundreds of thousands of innocent CIVILIANS have been murdered and millions will suffer untold horror from DEPLETED URANIUM.

  Iraq has nothing to do with freedom and neither did Afghanistan. 911 WAS AN INSIDE JOB and Bin Laden is a Cartoon character - one that’s been dead likely several years now. The world trade center was brought down by thermite, Silverstein and the Zionists and NeoCons in Washington.

  What America has become in the world theatre is nothing short of criminal. The BUSH administration has reduced the US to a meddling, threatening, destructive and untrustworthy nation. One that chooses its friends based upon their lapdog-ability. One that indescriminately murders, tortures and destroys to exploit oil, gas and any other natural resource it can control for profit.

  I consider myself a patriot. One that longs for the foundation of ’truth, justice and equality for all’ upon which many of our founding fathers built their lives. To be patriotic, to live the true spirit of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, I must speak truthfully and I have, but also to change these truths which have stained the red, white and blue with the innocent blood of thousands upon thousands. I must help rid my nation of the murdering criminals which inhabit its highest offices. To restore its government to its original intent. To oppose illegal actions, false wars and the needless shedding of blood for the private enrichment of a few. And to work for justice to be served upon those that commit such crimes. To bring the criminals to justice.

  To do anything else, or less, would not be patriotic.

  More than 2,500 members of the U.S. military have died since President Bush ordered an invasion of Iraq more than 3 1/2 years ago. With the rising anti-war sentiment growing because of this statistic, it’s time to look at the reality of it. Fighting terrorism is a dangerous job, that has certain risks, including death. Although we don’t want these numbers to grow it is a reality that they are going to. After all, we are at war against terrorism and those are the risks we have to take. Our Military is a volunteer organization. Yea, they didn’t sign up to go to war, but that’s part of that career. I’m sure they all would rather have a stateside assignment.
  That brings us to the death rate from violent crime here in Our Cities. There are too many innocent victims that are getting murdered daily. Why aren’t we outraged over these numbers. Here are some stats from the last couple of years. Check them out for yourself. In two years, 2003 and 2004, there were 32,665 murders here in the United States. I don’t see Jane Fonda or Nancy Sheehan out there protesting these senseless murders. Reality Check!

    I am so sick of the support our troops bullshit....these little pukes deserve to get what they went to Iraq for...to kill innocent people. They all deserve to die there.

    I am so sick of hearing how they are protecting us...what a LIE, they make us all hated and despised. They make us targets of revenge. They do the bidding of the warmongers who are profiting from the blood or the Iraqis.

    The 2 marines who just got killed and mutilated after they were captured by the Iraqis, were part of the company where the 5 marines who raped a young Iraqi woman and burned her body in March, and then killed her family including a baby....they were avenging her horrible death and those of the other innocents these little bastards murdered. The beautiful part is that the Iraqis cut off their penises and stuffed them in their mouths before they killed them. These guys are typical marines....tell us all how proud we should be of them, and what a great job they are doing in our name.

    The troops are misguided, and I think you anger is therefore misdirected. I think most of them go for noble reasons, or because they think it is a way to improve their lives economically in the long run, (as they are overwhelmingly from the lower end of the socio economic scale.) Yeah, there are a few sociopath murdering yahoos in the mix, but they are the exception, not the rule. We have a responsibility to get them out of harms way ASAP. That is the best way to support them and also keep them from committing more atrocities

    It’s george and dick and donny and alberto that are pulling the strings. They should be impeached in the house, convicted in the senate and forced to stand trial for war crimes before an international tribunal. That is where we all need to be focusing our energies.

  The single most devastating weapon that a dictator can deploy against people (his own citizens as well as those of other nations) is “self congratulatory vanity” because it accomplishes the objectives of the dictator far more swiftly and effortlessly than any physical or political form of coercion ever conceived. This is because a people who have been programmed into believing that they embody only the finest qualities of humanity and none of the worst have been rendered blind to the subtle conditioning that they have been subjected to by those whispering the flattering compliments into their ears that is designed to goad them into acting out their most beastly impulses while tricking them into believing that their actions are honorable and courageous.
  The nazis and Hitler used this weapon against the german people. The fascists and Mussolini used this weapon against the italian people. The imperialists in the japanese government used it against the japanese people. The Soviet government used it on the Russian people. And now the u.s. government is employing it against the american people.
  Everyone wants to hear only good things about themselves in order to create a positive self-image of themselves in their minds and present an ideal image to the world. But pretending that a negative side to themselves is non-existent can have harmful consequences for themselves as well as others around them.
  However, when that same characteristic is displayed on a national scale, the consequences go far beyond those that exist on an individual or even community level-they become world wide in scope and potentially world threatening.
  Americans have been taught all their lives that their nation represents the most noble and transcendent qualities of mankind and that their government has only the best interests of its citizens and humanity at heart when it intervenes around the world and that when its actions produce negative outcomes and terrible suffering around the world it is either justified as an “unfortunate mistake” or dismissed as inconsequential or blamed on someone else.
  Of course, this form of behavior was also displayed by every other nation that fell under the spell of totalitarian tyranny in the past.
  The illusion of morality and exceptionality in a culture is a necessary ingredient for the rise of the imperial state of mind that produces fascism and conquest and domination.
  The cold war was never about“good” defeating“evil” as it was force fed to the peoples of both sides by their respective governments as much as it was about which side would defeat the other and control the globe.
  As long as both the u.s. and the soviets were in a state of political and economic and military parity, the safety of the world was assured because neither side could hope to gain overwhelming advantage over the other and threaten the rest of the world. But as soon as the u.s.s.r. disintegrated and fell from super-power status, certain elements within the u.s. establishment(along with their New World Order overlords) that waited a long time for that cherished moment implemented their long planned for scheme for world hegemony. The equilibrium of the bi-polar world of the u.s. and the u.s.s.r. being locked in a political and military stalemate had been replaced with the chaos of the uni-polar world of the u.s. being the sole bullying superpower.
  No nation spends trillions of dollars to create a conventional/nuclear military force far greater in strength than the next 12 nations combined with the intention of simply deterring foreign attacks against it, for that is the simple minded and easy to swallow rationale given to gullible people. The only reason any nation would spend that much money and acquire a military arsenal of such immense power is to use it to gain an overwhelming advantage for the purpose of conquering and dominating the world.
  Americans had been exposed to the most sophisticated and insidious organized propaganda campaign in world history in order to trick them into believing that their governments imperial agenda was instead a quest to spread freedom and democracy to every part of the globe.
  As proof of its efficacy, most americans still believe that their government (and their current president) are without exception, incapable of perpetrating any economic/political/military deed that can be construed as malevolent-incompetent or stupid perhaps-but not evil.
  And what better circumstance could a dictator/dictatorship hope for than to rule over a people who refuse to believe that their own leaders/politicians and government can do things that can be interpreted as being sinister.
  Blessed with a populace that keeps its eyes and minds closed to the truth, such tyrannical governments are free to go on imperial rampages and destroy/murder/loot/rape/defraud to their hearts desires without facing rebukes or punishments or rebellions at home.
  Such oblivious citizens are also made blind to the harm being done to their own countries and their lives by their predatory leaders and governments because they are convinced that it is all part of making a “patriotic sacrifice” for the good of the war effort and the nation.
  They also remain blind to the diminishment of their freedoms and liberties and rights to privacy from government intrusions or they give their assent to them because they are informed that it is imperative in the fight against “terrorism”. And often, the citizens do not ask for any compelling and logical explanations for this demand on the part of the government that the people relinquish their rights, for it is enough for them to be told it is essential.
  Over the past few decades our precious freedoms have been almost imperceptibly chipped away piece by piece and impositions upon our rights added on in tiny increments so as to escape the notice of the people and things have reached the point where the people are no longer able to recognize the face of tyranny when it is baring its fangs and exhaling its foul breath in their faces.
  The 4th of July(just like christmas and other holidays) has become nothing more than empty and meaningless opportunities to “go through the motions” where people pretend to be honoring the true intent of them but are actually just offering tributes to a nearly extinct principle.
  Freedom has been brought to the brink of death by bush and his regime but the american people do not comprehend this fact because they choose to believe that firing off some fireworks and saluting a piece of cloth and reciting a n anthem means that the freedoms and liberties that they are celebrating are still in place in their full glory when the undeniable reality is that they are not.
  Like their counterparts of the past in nazi germany, the american people still go about their daily lives as if the mere act of pretending that nothing has changed makes it so and that the precious thing that they took for granted is still there and always will be or will be returned at some future time by their leaders at the conclusion of the “endless war of terror” in the same condition it existed in before it was taken away.
  Americans have a singular talent for not appreciating something that is priceless until they had lost it and then forgetting that they ever had it after it is gone and mistaking a worsening situation for improvement simply because their leaders tell them it is so. Forgetfulness may be a blessing when it comes to erasing painful memories, but it is also a curse because the forgetful can not know whether they are making any meaningful progress or are stagnant or regressing.
  The imbecile king and his regime will continue to commit their vile crimes against the nation and the rest of the world and the american people will remain blissfully ignorant of the menacing changes that had turned their once more or less free republic into a grotesque and warped totalitarian horror.
