Dear United for Peace & Justice,

You have waged lame campaigns asking for action and money in the past, but this one absolutely takes the cake.

Once upon a time I thought you were only misguided and merely just out of your Cotton Pickin’ Mind. Now it’s beyond transparent that your obvious ineffectiveness indicates the existence of an organization that carefully selects its projects and campaigns as totally futile and lame - on purpose.

I had to read this appeal for money twice. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me! Do you actually want the US Anti-War Community to pay for ads to reach the Iraqi people and tell them that the Peace-Loving American Citizens are pushing to have a meeting with the IRAQI PRIME MINISTER in order to let him know that the US citizens are FOR peace and would really enjoy an end to the “occupation...” yet are still fully enabling - yes ALLOWING - our leaders [sic] in federal government to continue to kill untold hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis?

I used to think you were well-intentioned but merely not very bright, UFPJ. But with this letter it is more than crystal clear that you know *exactly* what you are doing. You are taking the misguided peaceniks’ hard-earned dollars and flushing them down the commode. And even worse? You’re doing it *quite* on purpose, too! Don’t you know that even ordinary, reasonably bright people on your list are smart enough to realize that your campaigns are utterly worthless and beyond merely ineffective?

We have got a slew of INTERNATIONAL WAR CRIMINALS IN POWER WHO HAVE COMMITTED UNFATHOMABLY HEINOUS CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY in Washington, DC.

If you were any REAL type of anti-war group you would be working night and day to get these WAR CRIMINALS behind bars for life - exactly where they belong! And while we’re putting criminals behind bars and throwing away the keys, fully know that those bad boys and girls include all the members of Congress who have been consistently voting for one war bill spending appropriation bill after the next since October, 2001. And yup, that does mean Democrats, too!

Fact is? You and your backers darn well know ALL of this already.

Yet in this money appeal letter you are asking US citizens who allow the US Criminal Regime in Power to STAY in power, to hand over our hard-earned money to you. Then, with that money you say you will run ads to pressure the Iraqi Prime Minister, whose nation we have BOMBED TO HELL and have RUINED FOREVER with TONS of US-manufactured radioactive Uranium Weapons (Depleted Uranium) to listen to your pathetic apologies as you whine in his face about wishing for peace?

Do you even for one single moment believe that the Iraqi Prime Minister actually cares that there exists “a strong movement in the United States to end the occupation of their country?” In fact, who would blame him if he were to meet you and spit in your face for bringing flowers and tears and saying such a thing to him?

Would you blame him one bit if, instead of welcoming you with open arms (as seems to be your fondest desire) that he instead snarls at you and screams in your face the likes of, “Oh yeah? If you *really* want to end the brutal killing in my country that you are mistakenly labeling as merely an “occupation,” then WHY THE HELL don’t you DO SOMETHING TO STOP your war-lusting psychopaths in power? What good is coming here and giving me your pathetic apologies for doing effectively less than nothing to put an end to this vile slaughter of people who have done absolutely no harm whatsoever to any of your citizens!”

Oh tell me, United for Purposely NON-Effective Peace-like Actions, what is your letter going to say? Perhaps it will read something like this?

Dear Prime Minister and Citizens of Iraq With Eyes Still Left to Read,

Our most sincere apologies for blowing up your babies to bits. Deepest regrets for all the destruction to your schools, your hospitals, your places of worship, your residential homes and your private businesses - not to mention the priceless loss of historic relics and artifacts of your ancient culture and civilization, too.

We must confess that we feel absolutely terrible about the fact that our naughty GIs have had their boyish fun raping your women and shooting your children in their bedrooms. We also feel really bad that your river water is no longer fit for drinking! Maybe our head military man will quench your thirst and comp you some cases of Diet Coke with his trademark, Monsanto-poison, Aspartame sweetener!

Oh, and about that Fallujah deal? We’re really, really sorry for the white phosphorous our kill-happy military guys used there. We’re so used to them using death - by - s l o w - burn radioactive munitions on you (that good ol’ Red, White & Blue standard weapon of choice, Deadly Uranium) so we actually had no idea that your folks in Fallujah were going to feel the instantly searing, blood-evaporating, rapidly scorching burn of Willy Pete!

Oh yeah, while we’re here delivering our apologies for our uh, “occupation”? We sure don’t want to forget to mention that while we were eating dinner in front of the boob tube in March, 2003 we saw some pretty stunning fireball images when Baghdad was getting bombed-out. Yes sir, you Iraqis sure did get plenty of shock and awe, as only Uncle Sam himself can deliver! So while you’re doling out pardons, will you forgive us for obliterating that city, too?

And while it is indeed true that we have rendered your entire nation UN-inhabitable for humans (and, actually, for ALL LIFE FORMS) with our US-homemade radioactive poison dust that remains in the environment for a half-life of 4.5 BILLION years? Folklore has it that perhaps if you take Iodine, it’s even possible that you might feel a bit better in no time!

Oh, and speaking of life? While we’re on the subject, you should probably know that your DNA’s been permanently mutated - as in babies born without limbs, for like, umm... Forever. So you might just want to tell people to lay off starting any families if they’ve lived in Iraq since 1991, ya know?

PS - On the bright side? US doctors said to mention that if you eat plenty of green leafy veggies, organic tomatoes, oranges, and blueberries and enjoy a high fiber, low-fat diet? You can cut your odds of getting radiation-caused cancer dramatically!

With deep regrets, peace signs, and radioactively “glowing” best wishes,

UFPJ and The Misguided American Lemmings For Peace
*******

By the way, UFPJ, in case it is not obvious? You disgust me. I deeply regret that I donated monies in the past to a local group that paid dues to you. Instead of raising monies to wage a phony appeal for sympathy and condolences from the man whose people and nation we have allowed to be ruthlessly, brutally slaughtered and destroyed? Here’s novel idea, some food for thought that apparently has not occurred to you before: Why not consider doing something actually worthwhile instead!

If you are going to collect donations, you should forget your insulting flowers & tears melodrama and instead do something USEFUL such as waging campaigns to put the US War Criminals behind bars for life for felonies including treason, genocide by radiation, waging false flag terror attacks in three US states, mass murder, inhumane torture, bombing hospitals and civilian areas and other international war crimes against humanity!

And as Ward Churchill reminds us: “Out there,” in the neocolonial hinterlands where the body count of the New World Order must mostly be tallied, no one really cares a whit that a sector of the beneficiary population has chosen to bear a sort of perpetual “moral witness” to the crimes committed against the Third World. What they do care about is whether such witnesses translate their professions of “outrage” into whatever kinds of actions may be necessary to actually put an end to the horror.”

United for Peace and Justice, it is beyond time that you made better use of your time and donations and put into action something that actually will help to wash the incriminating blood stains of apologies, apathy, and complicity off America’s hands.

Waging an effort to put the US war criminals in power behind bars for life for their war crimes against humanity beginning on September 11, 2001 would be one such effective and legitimate start.

PS - Here’s an association that’s actually doing something effective! Perhaps you will want to visit their website, send some donations here, and take some notes? www.humanlaw.org .

  • Always has. Look at the "activists" — no visible means of support, they’re paid by the CIA. Take over NYC Central Park during the GOP Fascist Convention — never.

  • Echoes of MoveOn.org, in a different cause.

    • It is time for the citizens of the United States to get some professional legal minds together and sue the government for the harm they are doing in our name.

Maybe if a big enough class action law suit could be brought in the courts, we could all sue every congressman and woman who voted for and who continues to vote to fund this non stop war mongering. These people DO NOT REPRESENT US, that is all a big lie.

If they all had to give back their ALL wealth and their possessions, their bank accounts and their jewels, their boats and their cars, their art and their toys their stocks and their bonds and everything they ever hope to own, and the leaders like Bu$h and Chicanery and mammy all had to go to jail for the rest of their misserable lives for ruining our country’s reputations, emptying our treasury, destruction of the planet and the infrastructure of cities around the earth and it’s eco systems and worst of all, every death that came about to any human on the planet because of their failed leadership and their abuse of power, we just might be able to reclaim our country.

    • I could not have said that any better myself. It is indeed time We, the People, got together and sue the federal government for the untold number of horrible crimes they have committed in our name, beginning with 9/11/01 and continuing every since.

YES, every single member of Congress who has voted for these illegal amoral wars of aggression against innocent people MUST be held accountable.

We each need to talk this up with everyone, far and wide.
