SHOE SALESMAN SETS OFF CRAZY CHAIN OF EVENTS
By Peter Fredson
October 28, 2006
An item from WFMY News 2 - Greensboro, North Carolina caught my attention. It seems that a shoe salesman knocked on a door around 8:00 p.m. when 4 men appeared, pulled him into the house and then locked him in a closet.
The men then went outside to steal their victim’s car, but the victim kicked the closet door down and smashed his car window with a lamp. The car-jackers evidently startled and drove into a (…)

Recently Australia’s senior Muslim cleric Sheik Taj Din Al Hilaly gave a controversial sermon in Arabic to 500 worshippers in Sydney, independently translated by an SBS Arabic expert, part of which follows:
“When it comes to adultery, it’s 90 percent the woman’s responsibility. Why? Because a woman owns the weapon of seduction. It’s she who takes off her clothes, shortens them, flirts, puts on make-up and powder and takes (…) -

SIGN OF THE TIMES

Today I ran across an article that reflected the stress under which Americans are living. It said:
“University Bans Humor Quotation From Student’s Door CNSnews.com ^ | 10/19/06 | Nathan Burchfiel”
“Posted on 10/19/2006 10:05:37 AM PDT by Froufrou”

It was difficult to find the text of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Address to the United Nations on September 19th, 2006.
Most of the sycophant media of the U.S. did not see fit to print it, but limited any mention to ridiculing or trivializing it. The New York Times printed all of the Bush rhetoric but somehow could not find room for that of Ahadinejad. I found it on the (…) -

Continuing with quotes from President Hugo Chavez and an examination of his statements.
“He (Bush) spoke to the people of Lebanon. Many of you, he said, have seen how your homes and communities were caught in the crossfire. How cynical can you get? What a capacity to lie shamefacedly. The bombs in Beirut with millimetric precision?”
“This is crossfire? He’s thinking of a western, when people would (…) -

The President of Venezuela addressed the U.N. Assembly this week. His unkind references to the President of the United States, George W. Bush, made many people uncomfortable, electing a huge variety of boorish, loutish, obscene, and uncomplimentary remarks.
I have examined the Chavez speech in detail, and find that much of what was criticized was actually warranted. If we leave out the jingoistic and (…) -

It is a sad day for Australia. Steve Irwin, “The Crocodile Man” is dead. He was killed accidentally when swimming over a sting-ray and its barb went into Steve. He died shortly thereafter. We were astonished that, after all the daring-do escapades with dangerous wild animals, Steve was not invincible.
He handled the most poisonous snakes on this planet with amazing aplomb. He was at his press-relations best with crocodiles, (…) -

For the entire Bush takeover of our country I have watched and listened to his many speeches. Lately they have increased dramatically in number. But they are all the same speech. He repeats identical phrases.
How many times has he referred to 9/11? Has anyone kept count? And how many times has he mentioned Democracy, Liberty, Sovereignty, and Freedom?
What is more to the point is his Orwellian double-think application (…) -

At the press conference yesterday, a reporter quizzed Bush: ‘Mr. President, I’d like to go back to Iraq. You’ve continually cited the elections, the new government, its progress in Iraq, and yet the violence has gotten worse in certain areas. You’ve had to go to Baghdad again. Is it not time for a new strategy? And if not, why not?”
President: “You’ve covered the Pentagon, you know that the Pentagon is constantly (…) -

MAN TRAPPED IN CHOCOLATE VAT
By Peter Fredson August 20, 2006
Every day I sift through the Google News items. The other day I found several items that intrigued me. After reading about Iraq War failures, the casualty lists, the threats against Iran and watching John Bolton, now we can listen to all the nasty details of the murder of little JonBenet, day after day.
I also read that a Black Female Judge told George Bush that he had to stop his wire-tapping. reminding him that we have (…)
