Editorial: Dump Rove / The investigation moves closer to the president
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
As the Valerie Plame case becomes increasingly the Karl Rove case, and as the rising water of it begins to lap closer to President Bush, there are several truths about this matter that are worth keeping in mind.
1. In the very beginning Mr. Bush said that it was unlikely that the leaker would ever be found. There is every reason to believe that he would then have taken steps to make that (…)

Rove gate...
18 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentAs the Rove gate emerges. And Karl Rove is known for being a gay, shouldn’t somebody ask the qestion:
Mr. President did you have sex with this man?
The could do it to Clinton! They tried to impeach an almost honest man! Here America is our opportunity to get rights on their right values.
Impeach this President! Now is the time! -
Public Catching On To Dirty Deeds
18 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
5 commentsPublic Catching On To Dirty Deeds Bill Gallagher July 19, 2005 Detroit - Lying and denying, kicking and screaming, the Busheviks are defending comrade Karl Rove from the enemies of the state who are attacking him. We now have the "smoking gun" evidence that Rove was involved in the sordid scheme to "out" CIA officer Valerie Plame. Retribution, a quintessential Rove political weapon, brought him to expose Plame and risk national security in the process to get back at her husband, former (…)

Another Casualty in Rumsfeld’s Information-war
18 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentAnother chapter was added to Donald Rumsfeld’s booklet of "Information warfare" yesterday when blogger Khalid Jarrar was picked up by Iraqi Secret Service (Mukhabarat) and taken to an undisclosed location. Jarrar has not been formally charged with a crime, but he is author of a popular blog (Tell me a secret) that provides valuable information to people outside of Iraq who are curious to know the real details of the ongoing crisis.
In Iraq today the truth itself is in the crosshairs. Any (…) -

18 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentJuly 17, 2005 — ROVEGATE — Appearing on Meet the Press this morning, former Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta gave some insights into Karl Rove’s job as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Bush White House. Podesta said that Rove coordinates the activities of two major national security bodies — the National Security Council (NSC) and the Homeland Security Council (HSC).
In that position, Rove is responsible for chairing meetings of the Principals and Deputies Committees, which (…) -
The Intelligence Challenge: Can We Trust Our President?
18 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
5 commentsWe trained and worked at the CIA with Valerie Plame. We presented the following statement at a hearing on Capitol Hill in October 2003. In light of the latest White House sanctioned assault on Valerie Plame and her character, our testimony remains relevant and accurate. All of us were undercover. Brent Cavan and Larry Johnson worked as analysts in the Directorate of Intelligence. Jim Marcinkowski and Jane Doe were case officers and served overseas. Jane Doe’s real name is not being (…)

If Rove were a Democrat, he’d be shot
18 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentI’m certainly happy that George W. Bush and Karl Rove are not Democrats. If they were, just imagine the mess this country would be in right now, even worse than the mess it is in.
First, there would be cries of "treason" directed at Mr. Rove from the Republican ranks. Some of the more overheated members of Congress would demand that he be taken immediately out back of the Capitol and shot by a firing squad.
After all, he revealed the identity of a covert CIA agent, did he not?
As for (…) -
A secret known, a cover blown
18 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
The misinformation being spread in the media about the Plame affair is alarming and damaging to the long-term security interests of the United States. Republicans’ talking points are trying to savage Joe Wilson and, by implication, his wife, Valerie Plame, as liars. That is the truly big lie.
Plame was an undercover operations officer until outed in the press by Robert Novak. Novak’s column was not an isolated attack. It was in fact part of a coordinated, orchestrated smear that we now (…) -

Why does this terrorist get such protection from Bush? Here is the story!
"Without the support from higher powers, Posada Carriles would just be a pawn. A pawn who would not have been able to bribe his escape from prison, to plan and execute terrorist attacks, and to slip through the (…)
