    Senior British civil servant David Keogh. a former communications and cipher officer at Number 10 Downing Street, is on trial at London’s Old Bailey, charged with violating the Official Secrets Act for leaking a classified report on an April 2004 meeting between George W. Bush and Tony Blair. The four page report referred to Bush as a "madman."     A former director of the FBI has attacked MI5 for its "long and painful history" in Northern Ireland.
    Louis Freeh told the Wall Street Journal that the spying agency’s operations in the province had been characterised by decades of "secrecy and non-transparency" and argued against a similar agency being established in the US.

    Swedish GUE/NGL MEP Jens Holm, a member of the parliament’s CIA investigation committee, is supportive of the Swedish government’s decision to revoke the deportation order for Mohammed Al-Zery. It was in December of 2001 that Mohammed Al-Zery and Ahmed Agiza were arrested by Swedish security police, with the help of the CIA, and deported to Egypt.
