"William Blum left the State Department in 1967, abandoning his aspiration of becoming a Foreign Service Officer, because of his opposition to what the United States was doing in Vietnam.
He then became one of the founders and editors of the Washington Free Press, the first ’underground’ newspaper in the capital.
In 1969, he wrote and published an expose of the CIA in which was revealed the name and addresses of more than 200 employees of the Agency.

What the CIA Had to Destroy
The many reasons this torture evidence was too hot to handle
by Nat Hentoff
January 15th, 2008 6:14 PM
So what was on those videotapes destroyed by the CIA? Let’s put a face to it. Abu Zubaydah was captured in Pakistan in 2002 and, after being shot in the groin while trying to escape, was sent to recover in a CIA secret prison. He would be the first of the CIA’s many "ghost prisoners"—and also the first to test the value of what the president (…) -

Former Italian President Francesco Cossiga says global intelligence agencies assert the 9/11 attacks were run by the CIA and Mossad.
Although Osama bin Laden has confessed to launching the attacks, now all the European and American intelligence services are well aware that the attacks were planned by the CIA and the Zionists’ Mossad, Cossiga told Corriere della Sera.
The disastrous attack was (…) -

1 commentUnraveling the Myth of Al Qaida
by Peter Chamberlin
Global Research, January 13, 2008
The myth of "al Qaida" is built on an expansive foundation of many half-truths and hidden facts. It is a CIA creation. It was shaped by the agency to serve as a substitute "enemy" for America, replacing the Soviets whom the Islamist forces had driven from Afghanistan. Unknown American officials, at an indeterminate point in time, made the decision to fabricate the tale of a mythical worldwide (…) -

10 January 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
Philip Agee was born in 1936. He joined the Central Intelligence Agency in 1957 and worked as a case officer in several Latin American countries.
Agee later claimed: "My eyes began to open little by little down there as I began to realize more and more that all of the things that I, and my colleagues were doing in the CIA had one goal that was that we were supporting the traditional power structures in Latin America. These power structures had been in place for centuries. Where in a (…) -

False Flag operations and the illusion of the American Dream: CIA Torture Tapes and 911
2 January 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentMany people in the world had never heard of a False Flag operation before 911. The realization that these kinds of events are the norm in establishing and maintaining an empire must be a rude awakening for most Americans, especially now that the illusion of a just and true America has disappeared with the latest news that the CIA and the White House not only destroyed the CIA Torture Tapes but also “stonewalled” and “obstructed” the 911 commission, the goal of which “was to provide the (…)

Analysis: CIA Tape Case Evokes Watergate
21 December 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
by Tom Raum
Administration officials refuse to shed light on whether White House lawyers talked to the CIA about whether to destroy interrogation videotapes of two terrorism suspects but bristle at questions into the affair and complain about news coverage.
That puts the White House in an awkward position. The very vision of White House officials sitting around a table talking about such an inflammatory course of action evokes echoes of Nixon and Watergate.
