Governments USA

In an open letter on Rense.com, Senator McKinley speaks her mind on the House floor, says the "Impeachment" word and gets censored for it. Lets get the ball rolling and urge our representatives to follow suite and show support for her. I don’t care that she’s not from my state. In matters like these there are no borders.

  • yes impeach the governor of louisiana and the mayor of n.o.

  • Her name is Cynthia McKinney, not McKinley.

  • Cynthia Mckinney is a member of the House of Representatives, from Georgia’s 4th District. For Chrissakes, "Seremela," do your homework. Didn’t it occur to you that there’s something amiss with a "senator" speaking on the House floor?

  • No Senator has the courage to speak the truth and call forImpeachment! As far as the Gov. of Lousiana and Mayor of N.O. at least they responded, unlike W. who thought his vacation was more important. If this man likes to play the part of leader of this Country he should act that way and take charge in times of crisis,. He certainly responded quickly last year in Fla., during an Election year and in his brother’s state. Politics played a huge part in this, and it is no coincidence that W. ignored the Democratic Gov. and Mayor’s requests and then blamed them.
Face the facts if you are a CEO of a Company and you watch one of your local affiliates burning down, but stay on vacation and leave it to your local manager to handle, you should be fired. Even if you feel that they would ask for your help if they need it...if you really cared you wouldn’t wait. You would offer it, especially if you are the leader of the country. I teach my children to offer people help not to wait for them to ask. I quess you would have to be a caring person to understand this?
We need a REAL LEADER NOT A CHEERLEADER!!

  • There is no doubt that Bush is the worst President this nation has ever had. Irascible, irritable, irresponsible, impulsive, bullying yet in public putting on a manic show of smiling, smirking, strutting, shaking hands, hugging people. He is a two-faced hypocrite, a very dangerous person to our democracy. He and his cohorts want to rule the world. I’m not kidding. They said so. They want to use preemption, bullying, stealth, lies and deception to invade countries that had oil for future use in the tanks and planes, to build huge bases for perpetuity from which to launch further invasions, at Syria and Iran in the Near Future. Just listen to that Black Angel of Death, Condi Rice lecture Muslim leaders on democracy and freedom. Those words in her mouth, and that of Bush, are obscenities. How can democracy be spread by using bunker buster bombs, cruise missiles, staying the course, and killing Iraqis every day? Impeachment is the only logical course to get rid of this threat to world peace. We must get his finger off of the nuclear button. Send him back to cutting brush permanently.

    • For all of those other reasons that people are calling for impeachment, there are two very reasonable Constitutional reasons.

      1. In the 2002 SOTU Bush gave false and misleading testimony to a joint session of Congress when he declared that Iraq was seeking large quantities of uranium from Africa.

It doesn’t matter where he got that information. We all know it is false and the result of a very weak forgery.

Article Two of the Constitution requires only one duty to be performed by the President, that he should periodically report to the Congress as to the State of the Union. It is a Constitutional Requirement.

Article Two also stipulates the oath of office that the President "Shall FAITHFULLY EXECUTE the office..."

When Bush gave false and misleading testimony to Congress, he VIOLATED ARTICLE TWO of the US Constitution. He violated the FAITHFUL execution of his official duties.

Bush VIOLATED ARTICLE TWO of the US Constitution.

      2. Article Six of the US Constitution says that "All treaties...shall be the supreme law of the land."

When he invaded Iraq he violated Chapter 1, Article 2 (4) of the UN Charter. A treaty that was ratified by the US Senate and signed by President Truman.

It states that "No member state shall use the threat, or use of force against the territorial integrity, or the political sovereignty of any other nation."

Bush VIOLATED ARTICLE SIX of the US Constitution

There are many other violations, but these two are uncontroverted.

Congress has abdicated their oaths and promises to God and this countrty by failing to defend the US Constution against this ENEMY OF THE CONSTITUTION, and have themselves become ENEMIES OF THE NATION.
