U know, if Bush wanted respect and a legacy, he would come out and say I was wrong , the people I appointed were wrong, and after removing them immediately , I will step down and accept responsibility for my actions, no matter how well intentioned they were, and ask for your forgiveness. And after releasing all the information we have gathered that isn’t embarrassing to any of our citizens and putting all the chips on the table, Allow the American people to help form the newly elected government to shape our new and worldwide friendly foreign policy , We have all the resources needed to help everyone alive have the common necessities to have a fair chance.Well that’s what I would do if I were in Mr bushes shoes. Maybe someone else has a better view. In my opinion this would make our dollar stronger than ever. And people worldwide with new respect for humanity. What do you think?

The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings.
We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it." — John F. Kennedy

I’m trying to remember when the media and the politically powerful conveyed the truth about any major event throughout Americas history. (That did’nt take long.) They have never told the truth and lie about everything.

You’re kidding, right? That’s it?
After holding Brits in our extralegal dungeons for two years, one day we just let ’em go?
We’ve still got more than 600 people imprisoned in our Halliburton-built prison camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where for more than two years we’ve been interrogating them, denying them lawyers, denying them any kind of judicial review, hinting quite bluntly that they could all remain in limbo like this forever, and trying to put a brave face on all of the suicide attempts.
And every now and then, without comment, we bundle a few of them onto international flights and dump them out on a street somewhere — and suddenly it turns out that this dangerous menace was just a bewildered Kabul taxi driver, or a 10-year-old.
What the heck is that about?
I mean, if the argument is that these people are too horrifically dangerous to ever risk granting them access to the American judicial system, how can you just up and cut them loose?
And if they’re not dangerous — well, how can you hold a man in a Kafkaesque jail for two years, slapping him around, denying him sleep, asking him randomly desperate (and therefore asinine) questions like " Do you know Mullah Omar?"; and then one day open the door, shake his hand and wave goodbye, without even the slightest blush of shame, the most sheepish of apologies?
One of the first of five Britons released this week from Gitmo was one Jamal al Harith of Manchester, a website designer and a father of three.
"After a while, we stopped asking for human rights — we wanted animal rights," Harith told Britain’s Daily Mirror. "In Camp X-Ray my cage was right next to a kennel housing an Alsatian dog. He had a wooden house with air conditioning and green grass to exercise on.
"I said to the guards, ’I want his rights’ and they replied, "That dog is a member of the US army’."
This man, Harith, wasn’t held but a few hours by British police and security services before they had shrugged and let him go free. There’s no case, apparently.
And now, of course, these and other detainees are gearing up to sue the pants off of the United States government. Chalk it up as one more bill that the Bush-Cheney team will leave us to pay for long after they’re gone.

French Coach Troussier Reverts to Islam
"I want to keep my feelings for myself," said Troussier.
RABAT, March 24, 2006 (IslamOnline.net & News Agencies) – Famed French soccer coach Philippe Troussier and his wife Dominique have reverted to Islam in the Moroccan capital where they live, sources close to the couple confirmed Thursday, March 23.
"Troussier is no longer Philippe, he has taken the name Omar and his wife is no longer Dominique but Amina," the French-Moroccan daily L’Opinion reported Thursday.
A source close to the couple confirmed the reversion to Agence France-Presse (AFP), adding that the ceremony took place last Friday.
The widely-travelled Troussier, 51, is former coach of the Moroccan national team and French club Marseille.
He also had spells in charge of South Africa, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Qatar and Japan, whom he guided to the second round of the 2002 World Cup.
"Wonderful Surprise"
L’Opinion hailed the reversion as "a magnificent and wonderful surprise."
"Welcome Omar and Amina to the Kingdom of the All Powerful, the Kingdom of the Truth," it wrote.
"As Muslims we are happy to see such a strong and well recognized personality as Philippe Troussier become part of this religion of peace and tolerance."
The newspaper added that when contacted Troussier said he "did not want to elaborate too much on the subject."
"I want to keep my feelings for myself," Troussier was quoted as saying, adding: "as you see things evolve ..."
The Moroccan Evening newspaper reported that the couple have adopted two local girls Selma and Mariam.
Thousands of French revert to Islam every year in France, but not all of them declare their new faith outright, fearing discrimination at home or work and a stereotypical view that reverts tilt towards extremism, according to recent studies and surveys.
Anelka, who played for Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City, eventually had to leave for the Turkish league after increasing harassment.
Some imams in France have ruled that it was permissible for new reverts to conceal their faith if they feared rejection from family members and colleagues or security harassment.
Many Arabs and Muslims were even forced to change their names and hide their roots to spare themselves police and employers’ discrimination.
A Sorbonne research released earlier in the year by the French Observatory Against Racism found that Arab names and dark complexion represent an obstacle to jobseekers.
France is home to some six to seven million Muslims, the largest Muslim minority in Europe.
"I want to keep my feelings for myself," said Troussier.
