Speak out against vote tampering in Ohio

This letter is a call to action. Just as I predicted months before the Nov. 2 election, there is now mounting evidence that your vote and mine could have been stolen! That’s right, folks, the election was hacked, hijacked, and it’s high time to wake the voters up and the news media! "No media whitewash" should be our freedom cry! Why?

Despite growing evidence of disenfranchisement, suppression and outright fraud from lost votes to missing ballots to black-box machines with no paper trail, to a very clear pattern of intimidation of voters at the poles and even at their homes, the establishment news media has whitewashed the election!

For proof of tampering of the vote counting machines, take for instance, in Franklin County where only 658 voted in one precinct, the touch screen machines amazingly showed a vote total of 4,258 votes for Bush! Then there is another precinct in North Carolina where the vote counting machines destroyed the votes of more than 4,500 people! These are not just isolated incidences, for they are joined daily by new reports from all over the country, casting light on suspect vote totals in New Hampshire, Nebraska, New Mexico and Florida, and on the suppression of African American and youth votes in Wisconsin, Ohio, Iowa and many other states. The truth can’t be concealed forever, Mr. Bush, and neocon friends!

According to the Collier brothers, Ken and Jim, in their book: "Votescam: The Stealing of America," there has been a "stealing" going on in America of elections for more than 25 years now! It is thanks mostly in part to the ease with which a computer hacker can tamper with the electronic vote counting machines, and the fact that it is nearly impossible for the average election authority to detect any tampering!

The legitimacy of our electoral system itself is at jeopardy. We urgently need a groundswell of public protest to our elected state officials, like Secretary of State Blackwell (614-466-2585) demanding he do the following:

1. Count every single provisional ballot.

2. Release information about the number of "spoiled" ballots in Ohio.

3. Hand-count the "spoiled" punch card ballots to make as many of these ballots count as possible.

Finally, you can help fight this election tampering by pressuring your U.S. senators and representatives. Insist that they join and support Rep. Conyers, Holt, Nadler, Scott, Watt and Wexler in demanding a general accounting office (GAO) investigation of the tens of thousands of reported voting machine irregularities in the 2004 election.
