    The major question in the matter of Valerie Plame is not whether the vice president’s chief of staff lied to a grand jury.
    It’s whether the Bush administration lied to the American people in justifying the invasion of Iraq and then tried to intimidate its critics.
    Friday, a grand jury indicted I. Lewis Scooter’’ Libby Jr. on charges of obstruction of justice, perjury and making false statements. The indictments followed a two-year investigation by special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald.

    It’s been two and a half years. There are almost 2000 soldiers deaths officially accounted for. How many family members does that come to? Is there a number?
    The war has cost billions. Where did it all go? Is there an accurate number?
    There are thousands of Iraqi causalties. Does anyone know their names? Has anyone counted?
    In the wars before, history tells of the great loss of life the monetary cost. Are there numbers we can trust?

    The special prosecutor investigating the outing of a covert CIA agent expanded his probe last year to include intelligence information used by the Bush administration claiming that Iraq tried to purchase yellow-cake uranium from Niger.

    Since 2001 there have been about 0.4 million global drug deaths linked to US Coalition re-establishment of globally-dominant Afghan opium production (almost completely destroyed by the Taliban in 2000-2001 but 76% and 86% of global production in 2002 and 2004, respectively, after US Coalition invasion and conquest).
    Of these 0.4 million post-2001, US Coalition-complicit, opioid-related deaths 1,200 have been Scots, 2,000 Australian, 3,000 Canadian, 3,200 British and 50,000 American.
