Yin and Yang, Night and Day

How very different are the Chinese and the American governments.

Each is extreme in their political philosophy.

The Chinese censor everything and watch dissidents like hawks. As a result the people are cowed and distrustful of their leaders.

The Americans, on the other hand, have "freedom", and don’t officially censor anything except intelligence matters. Instead they just thumb their noses at the people,who, as a result, are distrustful of their leadeers.

The results in the final analysis are identical. Governments which cannot long stand without the wholehearted support and trust of the population.
