BAGHDAD — The U.S. military has been preventing delivery of medical care in several instances, medical staff say.
Iraqi doctors at many hospitals have reported raids by coalition forces. Some of the more recent raids have been in Amiriyat al-Fallujah, about 10km to the east of Fallujah, the town to which U.S. forces have laid bloody siege. Amiriyat al-Fallujah has been the source of several reported resistance attacks on U.S. forces.

Smoking Gun of Election Fraud is in Ken Blackwell’s Hand
14 December 2004Votergate 2004 is not going away. There are stories every day about the Ukraine and the obvious fraud in their elections but deafening silence about our own elections continues. Last week there were CONGRESSIONAL HEARINGS about voter fraud. Not one GOP Representative bothered to attend, desperately afraid of lending any legitimacy to the allegations. What was presented even made Congressman John Conyers object to the elections results. Where was the coverage??? Not one word from the NY (…)

Room 3E880
Washington, DC 20301
Dear Secretary Rumsfeld,
For more than a year, now, I have corresponded with you several times seeking basic protective equipment for our troops, including body armor and uparmored Humvees. In your responses, you expressed to me your commitment to protecting our troops. However, your callous remarks yesterday call that commitment into serious question.
Your (…) -
Deserters Are Heroes
14 December 2004by Harley Sorensen
Today let us take the sad, sordid case of one George W. Bush. Our president. Love him or hate him, it was he and he alone who decided that our mighty armies should travel to Iraq and kill tens of thousands of people, most of whom were guilty of nothing more than being there.
Like egomaniacal rulers forever, dating back to the cave, Mr. Bush demonized the people he wanted to kill. They have "weapons of mass destruction," he asserted. Yeah, like we don’t. Like India (…) -
9-11 Black Boxes Found
13 December 2004A 9-11 rescue worker recently came forward to say he was told by FBI agents to “keep my mouth shut” about one of the “black boxes” a fellow firefighter helped locate at ground zero, contradicting the official story that none of the flight and cockpit data recorders were ever recovered in the wreckage of the World Trade Center (WTC) towers.
Honorary firefighter Mike Bellone claims he was approached by unknown bureau agents a short time after he and his partner, Nicholas DeMasi, a retired (…) -

German industry pushing for nuclear waste dump
13 December 2004German industry pushing for final nuclear waste dump
by Diet Simon
The German government, industry and anti-nuclear activists are arguing publicly again about final storage of nuclear waste.
Industry wants a salt deposit experts condemn as unsafe. The activists want it scrapped altogether. And the environment minister is promising examination of three new sites but hasn’t moved on that in six years.
The president of the federation of industry, BDI, Michael Rogowski, has criticised (…) -
Berlusconi ally found guilty of Mafia collusion
13 December 2004by Tony Barber
The ghosts of Italy’s mafia-infested political history returned to centre stage this weekend after a business associate and political ally of Silvio Berlusconi, prime minister, was convicted of collusion with the Sicilian Mafia.
Marcello Dell’Utri, 63, was sentenced to nine years in prison on Saturday by a court in Palermo, Sicily’s capital, after a trial in which the main evidence came from crime bosses who testified for the prosecution.
"This is a sentence that will (…)
