The killing of the al-Qaida leader either means the end of the ’war on terror’ or more Bin Ladens rising to continue the fight
Let that be it. The killing of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan is a fork in the road of world politics.
One way lies a fundamental rethink of US and British policy towards the Arab and Muslim worlds, a chance to drain the swamp that bred 9/11.
That way is the end of the "war on terror" launched in the aftermath of Bin Laden’s atrocious crimes of September 2011. His (…)

2007: Benazir Bhutto named Osama bin Laden’s killer before her death
3 May 20112007: Benazir Bhutto named Osama bin Laden’s killer before her death
Benazir Bhutto, who was killed in a suicide attack at the end of 2007 stated in November that the Osama bin Laden, the head of the international terrorist network al-Qaida, had been killed. Bhutto claimed that she even knew the man who had killed the prime suspect of 9/11 terrorist attacks in the USA. According to Bhutto’s words, Bin Laden was killed by Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh – one of those convicted of kidnapping and (…) -
MoneyDaily: Death of Osama bin Laden Springs Bernanke Trap
2 May 2011Whether or not one accepts the story of the demise of Osama bin Laden as gospel or Golem, there is no doubting that the mainstream news media is treating it as the truth, and celebrating it with requisite aplomb.
It served as the leading commentary to an otherwise dull Monday, especially in the financial markets. At one time, the capture or death of the man who was widely recognized as the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks was thought to able to create a market rally of dizzying proportions, (…) -
letter of may to Obama.
2 May 2011Mr President Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue N.W.
Washington DC 20500
Mr President,
As I have been doing every month since your election in November 2008, I am writing you concerning the five Cuban patriots Gerardo Hernández, Antonio Guerrero, Fernando González, Ramón Labañino, and René González, imprisoned in your country for almost thirteen years now.
When I wrote my last letter, I did not know that Jimmy Carter, along with his wife Rosalynn, was going to Cuba on (…) -
UK Royal wedding, Royal & UK censorship & horrendous war crimes of Churchill and Queen Victoria
2 May 2011An estimated 2 billion people watched the wedding of Kate and William in London and we all wish the best for the happy couple. However the TV coverage permitted by the Royal Family involved massive censorship of the Australian ABC and indeed all other media. The Royal Family and the British Establishment survive through censorship, lies (of commission and omission) and slies (spin-based untruths) and this latest British censorship demands exposure of Britain’s horrendous past and continuing (…)

Libya Violence and Canadian Political Silence
1 May 2011By Stefan Christoff
Editor’s note: This article was written before Saif al-Arab Gaddafi, the youngest son of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, was reported killed in a Nato air strike on April 30, 2011. Three of the elder Gaddifi’s grandchildren were also reported killed by the strike on the family compound in Tripoli.
As Canada enters the final days in 2011 election campaigning, politicians streaking across the country have offered little more than resounding silence on Canada’s military (…) -
Mistreated’ Americans Win $400 Million Settlement Against Iraq. Is it fair ?
30 April 2011Is it fair that the Iraqi parliament has agreed to pay $400 million to a group of Americans who say they were traumatized or tortured during Saddam Hussein’s rule after the 1990 invasion of Kuwait. The parliament session was sparsley attended. The case was not clearly explained. What’s so unfair about that? .
An agreement was signed last week that would settle up to eight groups of claims against Iraq, and help lift decades-old UN sanctions. Meanwhile, Iraqis barely have electricity, are (…) -
Canada’s Massive Military Budget Is Off The Table In Federal Election
29 April 2011Among many substantive issues not discussed during campaign 2011 is the $23 billion Canada now spends on war, a massive investment that all three major federal parties will maintain if elected.
Add in the ongoing costs of the Afghanistan war plus undisclosed funding for Canada’s bombardment of Libya (well over 200 aerial bombing runs and aerial "sorties" to date), and the $23 billion figure may run higher.
To put this in perspective, slightly more than $63 million a day is spent on (…) -
Obama on Manning: “He Broke the Law.” So Much for that Trial?
28 April 2011President Barack Obama made stunning accusations about accused Wikileaks whistleblower PFC Bradley Manning, directly asserting that Manning “broke the law.” Apparently the President of the United States of America and a self-described Constitutional scholar does not care that Manning has yet to be tried or convicted for any crime.
In a discussion yesterday with Logan Price, a Bradley Manning supporter who was part of a group of activists who sang a song during the President’s San Francisco (…) -
Canadians to reelect plutocrat Stephen Harper
27 April 2011According to the most recent polls, Canada’s prime minister Stephen Harper will be reelected.
Stephen Harper, the up to the task guy when the US needs Canada in a war, has warned that in a troubled world we need a stable gouvernment because, as he said, Canada is the closest thing to an island of stability and security.
What Harper did not say is the fact that plutocrats like him are no stranger to the destablization of the rest of the world. And Canada’s stability is an illusion when (…)
