Climat : une crise alimentaire d’ici 2100 ?
La moitié de la population de la planète risque de faire face à une crise alimentaire provoquée par le changement climatique d’ici la fin du siècle, selon des travaux publiés jeudi 8 janvier aux Etats-Unis.
Ces projections sont basées sur des observations directes et des données provenant de 23 modèles informatiques sur l’évolution du climat terrestre.
Selon ces chercheurs, la probabilité est supérieure à 90 % que d’ici 2100 les températures (…)

Un rapport tout récent de la Banque mondiale, daté du 02/09/08, admet qu’en 2005, trois milliards 140 millions de personnes ont vécu avec moins de 2,50 dollars par jour. Et que 44% d’entre eux ont même survécu avec moins de 1,25 dollar.

8 commentairesIl y a 140 ans Eugène Varlin lançait un appel aux ouvriers, aux ouvrières, aux consommateurs, pour la formation d’une cuisine coopérative. Son appel a été un véritable succès. Son restaurant associatif : la Marmite a vu le jour en 1868 et n’a fermé qu’à la chute de la Commune (1871). Cette coopérative compta jusqu’à 8000 adhérents et trois succursales. Aujourd’hui c’est à mon tour de lancer un appel. Je me permets de reprendre certains mots d’Eugène Varlin, tant ceux-ci sont d’actualité.
