There is no possible way that Dubya won the popular vote- it simply isn’t true. Consider this quote from a poster on democraticunderground.com, "I know dozens of 2000 Bush voters that are voting for Kerry this time, and none that have switched the other way." This pretty much sums it up, 2000 the race was a dead heat, and now after four years of the Bush nightmare we’re supposed to believe he has even more support? I don’t buy it, sure some people are in denial about how bad Bush really is, but most Americans I know realize that our country is headed for disaster, and nobody wants more of this bullshit these lying bastards are sticking us with.

I don’t believe that Bush has anywhere near 50% support from the people of America- not even close. The thing is that it’d so easy to prove. All we need is one person to get this message to a like-minded sports announcer (- ; What if during a basketball game tonight the announcer decides that saving America is more important that his job... let’s say it’s halftime and he just blurts out, "Everyone here that loves George Bush let’s hear a roar" And just a few morons holler to a crowd of pissed off Americans. Then the announcer says, "And everyone that thinks he stole the election, let’s hear you roar" And the crowd goes wild!

Perhaps you can recall the final scene in the movie "A Bug’s Life" where the ants finally realize that they outnumber the evil grasshoppers- all that’s necessary is for a little spark to help the little ants to understand that united they can’t be squashed.

This is what we need- a moment of realization that WE OUTNUMBER THEM. To save our country we need to realize that this whole election is a lie. Sure Bush has rabidly cheering crowds wherever he goes, that’s because they are the same damn people- they are paid goons that travel with him and cheer on cue. Without them, Bush is nothing.

What if it’s really this simple, all we need is a little spark, one brave announcer at a 10,000+ person event? Is there anyone out there, anyone?

If we don’t stand up now, this scene is sure to play out in the near future.

Have you heard the phrase, "America, love it or leave it" ? What’s left to love... the memories? I would love it if we rose up to reclaim our country- otherwise all conscious Americans might as well leave it. Are you really going to sit around and wait until they start the draft and close the borders? Are you going to keep paying taxes for this disgusting war machine?

  • The reality is that Democrats haven’t had a popular vote majority (meaning 50%) since Lyndon B Johnson. Kerry 48%, Gore 48%, Clinton 49% and 43%. "We outnumber them?" It’s really time to examine the composition of "we." Traditional Democratic bases, Roman Catholics (including a good percentage of the Hispanic vote), gay-rights activists, pro-choice, and blue collar middle Americans have views that are often in opposition. Republicans have a simple message that can be articulated in a few sentences. Democrats cherry pick the issues, and increasingly alienate their blue collar rust belt base that has existed since Roosevelt’s New Deal, driving them to the Republicans, in favor of liberal candidates who do no know how to run campaigns out of Massachusetts. Is it any wonder that the last three Democratic Presidents have been from the South? Four if you count Gore. Reagan won on the strength of Southern Democrats. Candidates like Mondale, Dukakis, and Kerry are managing to change them into Republicans.

      America is now officially in the proverbial toilet and this recent election just "flushed" us and the rest of the free world down with it. By voting for the likes of Bush, a true Satanic Lapdog if there ever was one, you effectively and vicareously condone endless war on innocent people, outsourcing of jobs to third-world countries, abject poverty, an open-border policy that actually rewards criminal behavior, and a host of other nasty and corrupt evils that emminate from the mind of the Neocon’s. After the terrible events of 9/11 Bush firmly stated that, "they hate us for our freedoms" - morons believed that. Morons that have no idea what Israel is doing in their own occupied territory against yet another "unseen" enemy: many of these "unseen" being school children and women. Furthermore, most other countries LOVED America’s freedom, they didn’t hate it but rather emulated it!! That was PRE-9/11 however, when the world felt for us, NOT POST 9/11 when we started destroying all-things-living...long as these things have oil, that is.

      America has never been in more danger than it is right now. Before this election we at least had ignorance on our side but now all we have done will come back to haunt us, for decades. Our continued, blind support of Israel and our enormous, yearly "handout" to them is a huge mistake but some people just do NOT get it; how can this be? Israel is the third-largest weapons exporter and the second-largest terrorist orgaization on the planet after America so why do we not only support their crimes but actually applaude them and reward them with over $25 million a year (a rough estimate, not including military hardware and such)?

      Final word on this: we drop Israel, we live in relative safety. Neither Bush NOR Kerry have or had the balls to do this so we are ALL hosed now no matter WHO you voted for! It gives me pause to see that it is morons who are still running this once-great country instead of people with a vision and intelligence. Until we take this country back we are all guilty of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and ignorance.

    I am somewhere between shock and awe in trying to believe that Bush could have won a popular vote. I live in the midwest; in the middle of the so-called ’bible belt’. I am anti-war, and would prefer a radically right-wing jesus nut were not running our country. Where can I voice my opinion? On a blog. I don’t believe anyone’s votes were counted; I believe Bush has full control of the election process, and we will never know what truly happened.
    For now, Canada does look damn good...and I am definitely not an America Hater. But I refuse to send my tax dollars to kill innocent people for one ignorant short-sighted dark-age-living motherfucker to profit.

  • I can hardly beleive that any of you really think that the election was somehow rigged. The election process is managed at a state level for this very reason. If you think that your government is that corrupt then you are more than welcome to go to Canada. Hey, they have free health care which causes people to wait 6-13 weeks to see there doctor and another 12-22 weeks to see a specialist. And you can also enjoy a 9.9% unemployment rate which is by the way twice our unemployment rate. We will avoid the discussion about how much more taxes they pay. The truth of the matter is that no matter how bad you try to paint the picture of our current situation it is better than anywhere else in the world. We are a safer America because of George Bush and our coalition forces. If you don’t agree with the sacrifices that we have to make in order to have the freedom and liberty we have then once again you are welcome to leave. Let me ask this question. Where will you go?

    • I am Canadian. Though there is no perfect government, even here, I must point out to the person who claims Canada is so bad... that first of all, we do NOT have free health care. If you are unemployed and can prove your income is too low to pay even the tiered rate of coverage, you can apply for temporary free coverage. I agree that is a better system than most. I live in the 2nd wealthiest province and am earning barely over min. wage - and still have to pay a monthly amount for health care. If I don’t pay, I don’t get coverage. Simple as that. There is generally no wait to see a Dr. here. I can take my provincial health care coverage card to any walk in clinic if I can’t get into the hospital or family Dr. And I can get the same care there, at no extra charge.

      And yes, we have a ’not so pretty’ unemployment rate. But nowhere near the rate of jobs lost due to Dubya’s first term in Ohio alone. I must pose the statement that if you think your elections cannot be rigged, you must inject some espresso directly into your brain and wake up. Check your public records. I have a research pass for the Library of Congress in DC and I have read the records on no less than 6 rigged elections in your history.

      There are parts of the US that I love and I have some great friends and relatives there. We will never get anywhere blaming each other. It’s time to spread the word that people must at least try to regain control of the government ’THEY EMPLOY’.

    • I have observed during the pre-election time period that poll results on the CNN website generally leaned to the opposite end (or did not approve) of the Bush administration’s performance on a variety of issues. During the election and during the exit polling, all polls resulted in Kerry’s favor. Even today when I looked at the poll results for the question "Are you optimistic about President Bush’s second term in office?" and "Will Bush unify the country?"
      Both (current) results were very unfavorable for Bush.
      So what happened? How did Bush get so much apparent support? How does all of this ’un-approval’ equate to a historical amount of support for Bush?
      Something does not add up. Most of the people I talk to did not vote for Bush, but yet he won my county and state.
      I am not talking conspiracy but I do feel someone should investigate this phenomena. A lot of people are confused.
      A lot of people (MAJORITY) that have taken these polls would have not voted for Bush.... and there a lot of other ’polls’ I can refference. Polls are not reliable, I agree, but the evidence cannot be ignored.
      The numbers just don’t add up........

    • My wife and I *always* have to wait 6-13 weeks to see our doctor, and another 12-22 weeks to see a specialist. The difference between the good ol’ USofA and Canada seems to be that we are paying 2-4 times as much per capita for the same sorts of service. The unemployment rate in my family just rose to 50%, as I was laid off three weeks ago. Health insurance is, as of now, 30% of my wife’s professional income. I’ll probably get into some contracting, and try to remain under the patent radar: I am a software developer, and the present structure of the U.S. patent system almost guarantees that most of my work places me in violation of some corporate-owned software patent.

      And about taxes: I am *waay* fed up with paying U.S. tax rates to finance the screwing we’re getting from the administration, Congress (and sometime in the next 4 years) Supreme court in thrall to to large corporate interests. In case you decide research these issues honestly, look at state and local taxes, combined with significantly higher prices for inelastic costs (housing, health, fuel) in concert with Federal rates. The sum of federal taxes, state taxes, local taxes and the aforementioned inelastic costs of living is simultaneously greater and more regressive after the recent federal "tax cuts".

    • Per the Canadian Ministry of Labour statistics on their web site, as of this month, show unemployment is at 5.8 percent. Roughly equal with our own.They also don’t purge the stats of people still unemployed after their benefits run out. BTW, how long does it take to book an appointment (non-emergency) with your own primary casre physician? I know that it can also be a matter of weeks, I recently had a 10 week wait to see a dematologist who has since dropped out of blue cross because she is now the local botox fairy. Health care is the largest sector of our economy and it is currently broken by profit and pharmaceutical nostrum-pushing.

How could Diebold e-voting be utilized without considering the conflict of interest since Diebold is a major contributor to the Republican Party and headquartered in Ohio, one of the most significant swing states for the election? Also, another conflict of interest, how could the head of elections in Ohio, a known republican Bush supporter, allow these machines to be used without a "paper trail" or any other state for that matter?

      Please explain the exit polls discrepancies in Ohio submitted by CNN based on AP results? I understand the exit polls have a history of extremely low rate of error, something like 0.01% ?

      Going back to the e-voting, why is it that in every single instance of e-voting problems of a wrong vote, it was always sided against Kerry and not Bush? Isn’t it rather strange that people who voted for bush DID NOT ONCE have Kerry light up on their screen as some sort of computer glitch? However, thousands of Kerry voters had their votes light up Bush, and in some cases, the whole ballot would light up "republican" all the way down the column? It is quite possible that the code written in Diebold software could have easily altered votes. How could it be that this software and other e-voting software was not allowed to be scrutinized by appropriate committees? How on earth could we have allowed electronic voting to take place that did not allow for some cross checking for security purposes and to reassure the public that voting in this method was safe and secure? I for one would like to see this as illegal within the Unite States. I for one would like to see a true nonpartisian investigation into this election by multiple methods simultaneously, i.e., the media, government committees, watch dog organizations.

      If you believe so much in this country’s constitution, you should consider it your patriotic duty to protect this country from losing its fundemental freedoms; the security of our votes, having a fair and balanced power in all three branches of government, the legislative, the judicial and executive branch; ensure our civil liberties are never compromised, having an open and transparent government that is accountable for its actions. Without that, brown shirts and swastikas could become all the rave and do not think for one minute it can’t happen here!

      Oh by the way, the health care Kerry was talking about WAS NOT socialized national health care as you all myoptically misquote, rather, it was simply allowing those of us who need it the option to buy into an insurance pool, just as businesses do... what a radical idea that is!     • I think we must all look into what the big picture here really is. It appears that the world peaked in oil production in late 2001 and early 2002. Literally, the problem of worldwide peak of oil production (PEAK) will effect everybody in the world and change civilization as we know it.... So as much as I agree with the majority of people I know that it looks like the fix was in on this election and yes they stole it. Nor have I ever liked this administration or their lies. But if this administration could get their act together concerning our war machine they would most likely be revered 10 to 15 years down the line, for softening the blow and effects of PEAK. Unfortunately They are failing and I fear we could be feeling the effects within the next 4 years.. If you dont know what PEAK OIL means look it up...   • I am reminded of a journalist who was so surprised that Regan won. She said something to the effect of how could he win I don’t know anyone who voted for him. The reason why she didn’t know anyone who voted for him is because she lives in an echo chamber. Her opinions are never challenged, everyone she knows agrees with her, and she never listens to anyone else point of view. Kerry lost for a few reasons
    1. He failed to differentiate his plan for Iraq from Bush’s. His plan was identical to Bush’s, other than his assumption that he could get allies that were not helping us to change their minds. The problem was France and Germany said that no matter who is president they wouldn’t help us. He also failed to take into account that the UN, France, Germany, and Russia were being bribed by Sadam.
    2. Kerry failed to separate the war in Iraq for the war on terror. In instead of doing this he frequently linked the two which is a mistake.
    3. The subject mainly stayed of security issues instead of domestic issues such as Health care ect.
    4. There were ballot initiatives on gay marriage that overwhelmingly passed in 11 states. The questions were in several of the swing states causing a higher than normal conservative turn out.
    5. Kerry really failed to get rid of the Flip flopper label. Instead he really made it worse. He changed his position so much in Iraq no one really knew were he stood.

    How do the people in red states differ from the blue states? It is pretty obvious to the red staters but the blues wouldn’t notice these things in a million years. The red staters are much more likely to own property than the blues. The red states also have concealed-carry laws and shall-issue laws. Except for Pennsylvania(where the outcome was closer than in Ohio), none of the blue states do. Blues probably have no clue what these laws mean.

In the states with concealed carry laws, the gun control debate has completely disappeared as people have begun to realize that guns make them safer. He held a poll, and asked people, what his response should be, and he responded in the exact same manner. Now if that isn’t pathetic for someone who is supposed to lead us, then what is. Regardless of whether or not you like Bush, as least give him the respect for standing up for what he believes in, and never backing down, despite some people’s opposition. That takes some serious courage, and if you don’t think so, then try doing it. As for the war in Iraq, most of the TV images of people protesting us there, is a VERY small percentage. Those are the ones who benefited from Saddam, which is not too many. Many of my friends went over there, and even they said the Media over here has it twisted. The majority of people over there were so excited to see us there, they literally went bouncing around the streets. Even this past summer, they still felt the same way. As for the war being pointless, we got rid of Saddam. The WMD’s, even Tommy Franks, the Commanding General, said he can’t believe how fast Americans "jumped off the ramp" the minute they heard that we didn’t find them. If you want proof, let me know, I have a picture of a Mig Fighter Jet buried in the Iraqi Desert, under 10 feet of sand. It was right under our noses, and we didn’t uncover it, by chance, until this past year. A Jet... A Missile or Warhead containing a Biological, Chemical, or Nuclear agent, is by far, not even close to the size of the Cockpit of the jet, let alone the entire plane. Just think of the possibilites. I guarantee you though, that you never saw that on your Nightly News. You also have no ideals of Military Strategy, because what we are doing in Iraq, is Military genius. I would go into the details, but terroists read the internet too, and Im not willing to broadcast the strategy. I am not telling you, what is right or wrong, but what I am saying is, open up your mind, and look into what I have just told you.

To more closely reflect reality, you may want to cut those #s by at least 2/3rds , which is still not very good, but it beats crazy insurance premiums and 4 or 5+ figure medical bills. As for the unemployment rate, tell me this, are people on disability NOT unemployed? are people who have exhausted their unemployment insurance benefits and/or have given up searching for jobs NOT unemployed? are people on welfare NOT unemployed?       However, the Democrats may finally have learned to steer clear of them. Daschle learned that lesson one election too late.

You cowards have been juicing the polls all year and tried to pull some shit in the exit polling...you deserve to wallow in your own self-pity, it’s hilarious to listen to you cry and whine like there is some conspiracy to control the voting machine software, hell we can’t even stop music downloads! Face it, you are the minority now and for a very long time - I was a government contractor working on a major software project, I’ve seen the government at work in dealing with IT - there is no way some kind of voting fraud could occur electronically half the people working for government can’t even figure out how to get a Windows update let alone implement a scheme for electronic voter fraud on a scale of mass proportion.

    Considering your recent and most welcome elaboration of part of the planned worldwide debt relief programme I would suggest that the time has now come to place needed pressure on Blair to renounce his support of Bush, publicly.     Following the needed demise of the illegal Bush regime, Blair will likewise have to be replaced, so that we can likewise prepare for global peace and follow this up by unconditional withdrawal from Iraq. Also we must back the Pound with precious metals and abolish income tax and unpaid debt: All to rectify years of banking fraud. The Rothschild/Rockefeller inspired banking fraud must end now with debt negation and the cessation of fiat currency. St Germain’s World Trust trillions, which matured in 2000, must immediately be shared with all peoples and nations. The IMF recognised Omega funding programmes must be activated.
