Lawyer: ’Highly Intimate Moment’ In Married Life, No Place On Magazine Cover

A lawyer for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has urged a French court this evening to ban the further publication or resale of topless photos of the Duchess, saying they were examples of a "highly intimate moment".

Aurelien Hamelle said the photographs of Kate sunbathing on the balcony of a French chateau had no place in the public domain.

The photographs, published in Closer, a French gossip magazine, were taken "in a highly intimate moment during a scene of married life and have no place on the cover of a magazine," Hamelle has told the court.

In fact, the couple’s intimate moment was so special that the Duke and Duchess chose to share it with the world from the terrace of a rented villa in France in plain view of the road where any passing motorist or a child riding their bike might have been able to share it with them.

Of course the reason that the Royals are so hotly objecting to these images, taken by a single photographer, is that we have not seen the really juicy ones yet. My source in Italy tells me that the Duchess wasn’t merely "sunbathing" as her lawyer has told the Court unless ’sunbathing’ is a new legal term for carnal knowledge.

In any event, the Royal couple are now spending a romantic night together on the tiny island of Tuvanipupu where the women all walk around bare breasted and so the Duchess will not feel out of place if she decides to have another intimate moment with her husband.

While the world waits on the French Court’s decision which is expected around 11am Tuesday it may be prudent if these newlywed lovers cannot get back to one of their private palaces or at least have the decency to close their curtains... they might look for a public toilet—a regular haunt for many of their loyal subjects—in which to conduct their intimacy.

An intimate moment in married life... outside on a terrace... I think I’ve heard it all now.

What a Prince.
