Madeline McCain Is Alive, But April Jones Is Dead?

What surprises me so much about the April Jones ’investigation’ into her disappearance is frankly how quickly the police, lamestream media and the general public have literally thrown up their hands and declared the 5 year old dead.

I suspect they had to so that the police and Crown Prosecution Service could charge Mark Bridger with her murder.

But how many times have we read about children that have gone missing only to be found years later, living with a family who either snatched the child or didn’t know they ’adopted’ someone who had been kidnapped at a very young age.

Madeleine McCann disappeared on the evening of 3 May 2007, more than 5 years ago, and yet her family and an army of volunteers and believers still maintain that she’s alive, which contrasts greatly to the general mood for April, who was presumed dead after less than a week.

I would have thought the opposite was true.

But today Mark Bridger was charged with the abduction and murder of missing five-year-old April Jones. The van carrying Bridger was escorted by three police cars as officers struggled to hold back the crowd. More than 100 people shouted abuse and threw bottles at a van carrying Bridger to court.

I wonder what they will say if April is found alive one day. Do they know something we don’t? Perhaps there’s more to the story that we’ve not been told.
