News Anomaly Flash: Paterno Fires Shot Across the Bow

The Anomaly: Amidst a pedophilia scandal, involving former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandunsky, head coach, Joe Paterno, has hired G. H. W. Bush’s criminal defense attorney (Bush’s council from the Iran Contra affair). 

What’s that about?

Reports, although largely unsubstantiated at this point, are emerging that Sandunsky’s foundation, Second Mile, may have been something of a clearing house for wealthy supporters to engage in pedophilia. Since all boys involved were "at risk" they were easy targets. From Second Mile’s website: "Effective prevention programs provide strategies that significantly influence children’s behavior and skills through hands-on education, positive role models, and skill-building activities."

"Prevention" is never defined on the site but Sandunsky definitely had a significant influence on his victims’ behaviour as well as his own special version of "hands-on education."

One has to wonder what Second Mile’s staff was thinking about when they wrote text for their site. 

Second Mile paid Sandunsky a half-a-million bucks over a decade or so. However, in 2008, they did withdraw Sandunsky’s "camping with the boys" privileges. Why? What did they know? Obviously Paterno is not the only one who will need a lawyer.

Former University of Oklahoma and Dallas Cowboys coach, Barry Switzer, weighed in on the matter. "Having been in this profession a long time and knowing how close coaching staffs are, I knew that this was a secret that was kept secret. Everyone on that staff had to have known." 

Paterno, a Republican, was buddies with both George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush. So why did Joe call George Sr.’s criminal defense attorney - and, more specificaly, why with regards to a case involving pedophilia?

Another question arises due to the fact that Sandunsky’s predatory behaviour has been known since 1998, at which time the prosecutor went missing and is presumed dead. Sandunsky had protection from high places then. Why is he being thrown under the bus now? One blogger suggested that it is a psyops media diversion. I suppose that’s possible. 

The skeletons in the closet might be Skull and Bones and Joe may have stirred up a hornets nest that will be the death of him.

    Why don’t they just stay away from their own kids? Moreover knowing the impoverished American people, children are a kind of guarantee for income from social welfare.

    ...it is sad. Nobody who thinks of humanity, morals or human rights should be in support of the rotten, sick US society/system.
