But what does the government say? Nonsense! No such thing, never was never will be; yet the sightings continue. Unexplainable events, which cause the government’s explanation of, no such thing to fall to pieces. Travis Walton’s disappearance for five days after his coworkers reported his abduction is case in (…)

I ran into Congressman Donald Payne Tuesday evening and asked him if he would sign on to cosponsor H Res 333, articles of impeachment against Vice President Dick Cheney. He said yes immediately and brought his legislative director in on the conversation. They both said yes, as a matter of course, as if all they’d been waiting for was someone to ask them. Now, I know that’s not quite the case, and that citizens of New Jersey have been lobbying Payne and other New Jersey (…) -

A weighty new study released last week suggested that if you can’t make your podgy friends purge, you might have to purge your podgy friends. Harvard Medical School’s Dr. Nicholas A. Christakis reported in the New England Journal of Medicine that having a portly pal increased a person’s chances of becoming obese by a whopping 57-percent. That’s right, the weight of your friend Jim matters more than how much weight you lift in the gym.
The most amazing part of the research (…) -

By Nicola Nasser*
Converging U.S. – Iran interests in Iraq are creating a common ground for an “Iranian option” for President George W. Bush that could be developed into an historical foreign policy breakthrough of the kind he has been yearning for in the Arab – Israeli conflict or India; however several factors are ruling out this window of opportunity, including his militarization of the U.S. foreign policy, obsession with the “regime changes” overseas, his insistence on exploiting to (…) -
In tech field CIA spied a chance for growth: It funds start-ups and reaps progress
31 July 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
Hopelessly lagging the freewheeling high-tech entrepreneurs of the day, the nation’s spy agency recognized it needed better access to cutting-edge technologies to carry out its mission of collecting, analyzing and communicating intelligence data. But rather than sending covert agents, the agency took a more direct approach: It began knocking on doors with money. And for once, the CIA made no secret of its plan.

The continuing support from Hollywood studios is also a factor behind producers’ inclination towards such themes. Saturday 28th July, 2007 (ANI)
Washington, July 28 : The not so good reception of ’A Mighty Heart’, a film about late Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, by the audiences has prompted Hollywood (…)
