While You Were Drinking Obama Turned Your Rights Over To the Military

The National Defense Authorization Act, one of the most vicious assaults on your rights - EVER, was signed into law by Barack Obama on the day that the most alcohol is consumed. Coincidence? I don’t think so. 

An administration official has gone on record saying, "President Obama does believe . . . that the military has the right to capture and hold any citizen who is engaged in conflict against the United States."

"Conflict," as described by the dictionary, merely means a serious disagreement or argument. 

So, to take this to it’s logical conclusion, any person who disagrees with, or argues against, any crazy unconstitutional U.S. policy, politician, law, or unjust war, is in "conflict" with the government and can be "rightfully" captured and held by the U.S. military. 

This is as extraordinary as rendition. But whereas extraordinary rendition only happened to "them" this law means it can now happen to you too!

  • How is it that here in the "land of the free" that our freedom is being quickly taken away by those who swore to uphold our freedoms? How is it that here in the "home of the brave" that if you are "brave" enough to stand up to injustices that are forced upon us by our "elected" officials that we can now be incarcerated without a chance to invoke our "legal" rights? Why is it that here in the land of "milk and honey" that so many of us can no longer afford the milk let alone the honey? All I can say is that, being 71 years old, hopefully I don’t have that much longer to be suppressed and spied upon. But you younger ones better wake up just as the writer of "While you were drinking Obama turned your rights over to the military." Just as he is doing, trying to get our attention to what iniquities are being quietly perpetrated on us all, you need come awake to what is happening while you are drinking or whatever pastime you keep busy with.
