There is Pentagon and US governmental obfuscation surrounding United States permanent bases in Iraq. Whilst Donald Rumsfeld, US Secretary of Defence, continues to deny a permanent US presence there, the facts appear to contradict his statements.
In February 2002, Zoltan Grossman wrote the following cogent perception entitled New US Bases: Side Effects or Causes of War? “Even if this administration pulls combat troops out of Iraq in the future, it intends to keep at least (…)

Blair and the Neo-Cons’ Permanent World War
5 April 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentBy now, the manner in which Blair & Co have again hoodwinked Britain into a totally illegal military strike -this time using nuclear weapons- against a peaceful nation should have become frighteningly clear.
But it hasn’t.
The Bliar’s low-profile treatment of Iran, added to the contradictory signals sent out by him and others such as Foreign Minister, Jack Straw and John Reid, whose job is better described as the Secretary for War, has worked very well to keep the country in the (…) -
Ulster thrown into crisis by murder of Sinn Féin spy
5 April 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsDenis Donaldson, the senior Sinn Féin administrator who had admitted being a British agent for 20 years, was yesterday found shot dead inside the isolated cottage to which he had retreated in Co Donegal. Reports last night suggested his body had been mutilated and his right hand almost severed.
Suspicions that he had been murdered by dissident republicans cast a shadow over the government’s hopes of reviving the stalled political process. Tony Blair and Bertie Ahern, the Irish prime (…) -

A madness for war
3 April 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
By Derrick Z. Jackson
PRESIDENT BUSH said he invaded Iraq to rid the world of a madman. It is ever more clearer Bush went mad to start it.
This week, the New York Times reported on a confidential memo about a meeting between Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair on Jan. 31, 2003. It was just before Secretary of State Colin Powell would go before the United Nations to convince the world of the planetary threat of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein and ask for a second UN resolution to (…) -
Decoding the Great Deceiver
3 April 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentTony Blair will never give up his premiership willingly. No matter how much a liability he becomes to his party, the Bliar is far too attached to the power that comes with his job. Besides which, he performs a vital task for the interests of Anglo-US capitalist imperialism. Whereas neither Bush the Chimp or Cheney have the slightest ability to play the international statesman the Bliar is a con salesman par excellence. A con-man who has the knack, whilst talking a heap of shit, to make it (…)

MILITIAMEN from an Iranian-backed force were deliberately recruited by Britain to join the new Iraqi security services after Saddam Hussein was overthrown, the Government has admitted.
The sectarian Badr organisation, trained in exile by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, is suspected of violently pursuing its own agenda after being allowed to enlist in national units. John Reid, the Defence Secretary, disclosed in a Commons written answer to the Plaid Cymru MP Adam Price that it (…) -

Saddam trial is a theatre. It is a Hollywood show to divert attention from the destruction of Iraq and the massive war crimes committed against the Iraqi people. Like the invasion, the “tribunal” is illegal and has no legitimacy in occupied Iraq
President Saddam Hussein’s “trial” before a U.S.-orchestrated (…)
