Of course one doesn’t want to glorify US Deaths, but merely highlight that these 14 soldiers would still be alive, their children would still have fathers, if Bush and Blair had not planned this war of conquest as proven by "the memo."

A total of 14 US servicemen were killed in Iraq between Saturday and Monday, the US military said Tuesday, making it one of the deadliest periods this year.../... (AFP)

And, the Bush administration’s Pentagon mouthpieces have the unmitigated chutzpah to tell the American people that the increasing attacks by "insurgent" forces are "acts of desperation." And, how many hundreds of Iraqis have been killed and wounded in this same period? We have turned Iraq into a charnel house. Shame on Bush and his thugs.
11 May 2005, 03:50
Sounds right, after all W. did say a few days ago that we are winning in Iraq and things are getting better! And he only tells lies.
STOP THE MURDERING!!
11 May 2005, 09:31
This killing will come back to haunt that bastard for the rest of his life, like Robert MacNamera, who now in his seventies is trying to assuage his guilty conscience by putting out documentaries and books trying to explain how sending hundreds of thousands of young Americans to murder 3million Vietnamese which killed 58,000 of them for nothing was all a big oopsie, and he cries big crockadile tears all the while feeling sorry for himself that he has to admit his mistakes. But Bush probably has no conscience with that stupid smirk on his face he is probably bored to tears if he has to think of the fact that he is also a mass murderer sending the young people out to do his dirty work.

I wish I could believe you but I fear that Bush and the axis of weasels around him lack the self awareness necessary to feel guilt.

Stop Kiling Arab Bush why you want that becus the world say you War Man

Custer said: A good (American) Indian is a dead Indian!
We like to say: A good American/British soldier is a dead soldier!
Believe me: nobody in the civilized world consider American/British soldiers as victims! They act like Nazis they die!
We hope more and more every day!
Time to go home Ami!

I liked your comment. No american or british soldier is innocent. Soldiers are mass murderers and also the gorvenments that send them to war.
12 May 2005, 05:36
Their deaths are honorable. I hope they took a lot of insurgents with them. If the soldiers hadn’t brought Saddam and his government down, there would be more mass Iraqi graves, but this seems to escape a lot of leftists.
12 May 2005, 06:26
That’s fascist logic for you. Ten of our guys die, maybe 100 of theirs is a good exchange ratio. Asshole! How about 20,000 Americans for 200,000 Hajis? No? How about 2 million? Fine, Square deal. There are probably about 200 million disenfranchised Muslims out there who will likely shoot an Yankees if you just hand them a rifle. Others will gladly blow themselves up. So, are you prepared to trade 2 million Americans for 200 million Arabs? Well, are ya, punk?
You and your kind are a bunch of fucking morons. FUCK YOU. Honroable deaths my ass. I don’t care if this message gets taken down, just so long as I send you this message. Once this war is over and your "honorable" lying sack of shit illegally elected president is dumped on his impeached ass, some of us brothers from Blue State Brooklyn and Chelsea are going to head out to places like Chattanooga, Biloxi and Omaha and kick the crap out of some of you toothless, redneck idiots.
Wake up, you tool.

Amen, Brother
12 May 2005, 06:57
Do you really think you’re making an argument by using foul language other than the fact that your vocabulary is so limited that you have to resort to cursing to make your points? Take some pepto bismol and cleanse your system. If you are in a war you want to minimize your troop losses and make your enemy suffer greater losses. To do what you suggest is an incredibly stupid way to wage war. By the way, it seems as if you’re looking for trouble, I have no doubt that those dixie boys will hand your and your brothers asses on a plate.
12 May 2005, 10:48
I apologise on behalf of the previous poster if the ’foul’ language upset your delicate sensibilities, but I’m glad you’re not upset by torture, 500 000 children killed and the usual blood and guts from your war. No, lets look at this, -it is not a FUCKING war, a war needs TWO armies. Its an illegal invasion of a sovereign state by a bunch of hired killers resulting in slaughter, supported by FUCKING redneck ASSHOLES.

Reminds me of the weathermen, and women too.
Reminds me of woodstock, and Mingus too.
Most of the world is ready to support an american revolution, do you need money? Spirit?
Can`t offer arms, that would not be right. How about a general strike?

From all news sources in the West-media has shown that there were NOT the great mass graves that are almost always misappropriated to Saddam Hussien. Had there been such mass burials, it would have been a bigger story than Abu Graib — with sustained and constant reminders of these in the daily news.
The cause for WMDs would have been long ago burried in the minds of Americans. Since there is a lack of these stories [except for some who continue to believe for their own reasons and preceptions], it is safe to assume that there are have been no such large number of mass deaths.
When, and if, Saddam Hussien’s trial comes to pass, there may be evdience of such things. Even then, it would be suspect. Only time will let out the real information — and even that is a big, "if".
But be that as it may, the real question that an American should ask is, "So what if Hussien is killing people of his nation?" But that is not even a passing thought. In a related viewpoint, how many Americans wanted to take action to stop the Hutus and Tusies from killing each other? [Vis-a-vis, their spooked reaction [such as one of the replies to this story] against Saddam Hussien.
American [the public as well as the public’s leaders] only involve themselves in self-interest cases such as Iraq and find cover in stories from the Bible or other self-justifications.
Interesting, I would like to be in the grandstand on the Judgement Day and see these peoples replies when it their turn to answer as to why as Americans they backed killing against their own guided words.
15 May 2005, 07:58
Now instead of Saddam killing Iraqis, the US is killing them even in bigger numbers. How can any American that is honest say this terrible war in Iraq was a good idea? Who can defend a policy that murders citizens in their own country even after the supposed threat (Saddam) has been removed. And why couldn’t Saddam just have been arrested and brought to trial like Pinochi? Why? Because we still want the oil like we wanted and planned for all along. This war is based on lies and is killing thousands of people on both sides so that the fat cats can get fatter.
15 May 2005, 08:05
Right now today in Darfur the military is killing thousands of the citizens there everyday and driving them from their homes and you do not hear one word from that stupid fuck that calls himself the president. Come on people lets just agree that the only reason that we went to Iraq was for the oil and to steal their country so that it would bennifit the oil barons and rob the tax payers of this country to enrich the weapons dealers and the bankers. Money, money, money, is the only God in America. If we really cared about human life we would not be in the business of death as the number one national industry in our country.
12 May 2005, 14:22
Only in the never-never-land of Bellaciao do you see people who say they want to save the lives of American soldiers finding common cause with those who desperately and passionately want to kill every single one.
Totally off the hook.
16 May 2005, 10:15
Since you feel that way I guess we won’t be seeing you hear any more. Not that anyone will care. We are all glad that you find us "totally of the hook"....good riddance to you. We are all tired of trying to educate you since you are too brainwashed by the government.

Hey Bro, from the "Blue State of Brooklyn and Chelsea," have you taken your sickle cell anemia medication today? Did it get lost in the mail??
26 May 2005, 02:41
What share of responsibility should the ’average civilian’ have for this war or for that matter any war? Informed people know about their leaders complicity and that of "The Military Industrial Complex" how should we guage ours ? J.T.

Soldiers of any country go where they are sent. They are cannon fodder for dictators and power hungry cowardly but blood-thirsty war hawks.
Did you notice that whenever Bush is criticized for any goof in Iraq he distracts us by talking about our "brave soldiers." To criticize our "brave soldiers" is treason, it will "shake their moral."
But we never question why they are in a foreign country... one that had nothing to do with the 9/11 disaster, had nothing to do with world terrorism, had no weapons of mass destruction, no nuclear weapons, no designs on bombing Crawford, Texas.
The American soldiers in Iraq did not die for their country. They died to suit the power-mad plans of neoconservatives and True Believer Christians that wish to dominate the U.S. and then the world. They died without a tear shed for them by Bush and his cabinet, because for them tears are a sign of weakness and lack of resolve. So they order that photographs of American dead be censored, that little news of American coffins arriving in the U.S. comes out. Why? Because it embarrasses Bush, Rumsfeld and the other war hawks. So they surpress all bad news from Iraq, censor reports of torture and abuse, and deny every report of failure.
It is reported that this month there have been 104 suicide bombers losing their lives in an attempt to get the Americans out or Iraq. They never should have been in Iraq in the first place. But for Bush preemptive actions against "intentions" are major strategy, instead of gross violations of American values, traditions, and honor.
Has anyone seen Bush shed a tear for any of our dead soldiers? Has anyone heard Bush say he regrets making war by lies and misinformation? Has anyone seen Bush attend any funeral of his soldiers?
No, our soldiers did not GIVE their lives. Their lives were taken from them by the intemperate irresponsible actions of their "commander-in-chief" who smirks, swaggers, and struts to the delight of his True Believer absolutely committed followers, who don’t mind killing infidel Moslems. For them invading a foreign country brings glory to the U.S. and anything Bush wants is what Bush gets from his Republican allies.

I’m totally disgusted and disheartened by anyone who even thinks for a split nanosecond in their pea brains that our American Soldiers are murderers or fiends and they are doing this terrible "disgrace" to the Iraqi people...I do not agree with what W is doing in that big White House, but that is no reason to go trampling all over the Troops, who by the way did not join the military because they knew they were going to Iraq and going to kill people every day, and by the way I could CARE LESS about civilian causalties, because guess what, they are being slaughtered by their own people daily more than the soldiers are killing them (just pick up a newspaper and you’ll see the carnage the "insurgents" ie. iraqi people are causing*...So if you have the nerve to sit there and say that our boys are murderers then you need to get out of this country immediately and go live somewhere else where you can talk your slanderous words...OUR TROOPS deserve to be recognized for the sacrifice they make daily for your obviously not deserving selves...They joined the military to help protect our country, and if they give their lives in the process then they deserve to be honored to the fullest extent...The troops cannot help if their commander in chief is a total MORON and he does not know how to run a country except to run it into the ground...THEY ARE JUST DOING THEIR JOBS...so go ahead and sit on your high horse and say that they are murderers and fiends and that they are not heroes, they are protecting your safety daily that even gives you the right to speak in such terms...Those men and women who sacrifice and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice have more honor and nobility about them than ANY of you haters combined...and I hope that one day you will understand just why those men and women have given up that sacrifice...I know I have to come to terms with it EVERY DAY because I lost my best friend in that sacrifice, and he will never come back, but I know he died with the honor of serving his country so he could protect his friends, family, and all the rest of you cowards back home...GOD BLESS OUR SOLDIERS AND PLEASE BRING THEM HOME SAFELY...they deserve our support even if its for the wrong cause...they are doing their jobs...
20 June 2005, 11:48
If the little bastards were anything but murderers, they would put down their weapons and walk away from Bush’s illegal war. But since they are just killers at heart, they deserve what they get from the freedom fighters in Iraq. Who except a sick bastard would hire out as a paid killer of people they do not know and for hardly any pay??? Obviously they are sick in the head and want to find legal ways to kill other people. A normal person would never kill innocent people for a few bucks, there are no other explainations for the killers posing as military soldiers for being able to commit such horrible crimes as murdering innocent men, women, and especially the little children. The Iraqi people never did one thing to any citizen of the US, their government was no threat to the US, now 100,000 of their citizens have been murdered by killers for hire pretending to be doing good.
20 June 2005, 12:02
I notice that any one who defends the soldiers in Iraq always tries to use Bush tactics.... lying, how they are there to protect us, what a joke Iraq was NEVER a threat to us a fact that these defender/pretenders always leave out of their long rants of false praise for a bunch of morons who are letting the likes of Bushco use them and make fools out of them and ruin their STUPID lives. If they had any HONOR which they absolutely DO NOT they would refuse to let themselves be used. Low mentality prevents them from doing the right thing and leaving the killing fields of Iraq, no honor there.
There continued occupation makes everyone in the US a hated target, it makes us all look complicit in the criminal slaughter in Iraq. Sorry if most of us get it and you do not.
10 June 2005, 22:12
Bush has the compassion of a Texan rattlesnake. He would gladly let ten times as many soldiers get killed for his swaggering glory. That, for him, would be a small price to pay to billions of dollars of profit for Cheney and his war hawk corporate Christians. He has shed no tear for any dead, hasn’t even counted the Iraqi dead, and doesn’t want photos made of the coffins of American dead as it will diminish his popularity...and heaven knows that is to be avoided at all costs!

People have been dying in Iraq for over 30 years at the hand of Saddam. If we were to pull out of Iraq tomorrow, we would have to kill unknown thousands of Iraqis on our way out to make up for the difference of what would have died under Saddam.
It is amazing to me how people get upset over the deaths caused by our actions, but at the same moment ignore the actions of all the tyrants who kill their own citizens on a whim. People are still dying in Iraq on both sides, but there are significantly fewer people dying there now than before we went. Instead of voicing outrage about soldiers dying to help improve the quality of life in a whole region, there should be outrage that we are not taking a more significant role in helping the other oppressed peoples around the world. Money and funding is one thing, but unless the whole situation changes in these places, the people there will never really see improvement.
Consider for a moment the situation in Iraq for the past 30 years. For a majority of the Iraqi population all they have known is the fear of Saddam, and for the minority of the population absolute control in Iraq. It is going to take the oppressed population time to realize what possibilities are available to them now, and to come to understand that they can stand up without fear for voicing their opinions. And on the flip side, it is going to take the deposed population time to realize that there is a way of living other than killing the people you hate. This IS happening in Iraq; lines of army recruits get blown up, yet the Iraqi people continue to come to sign up despite the danger. Other Iraqis that had fled the country for fear of dying for their beliefs are returning to their homeland. And it seems that the majority of the people still fighting are coming in from other countries.
Consider the words ‘what if’. First, ask yourself what if we had not done anything. People would still be dying at the hands of Saddam for his pleasure, and the region as a whole would still be set on the path of conflict they have followed for countless centuries. Then, ask yourself: what if this really does work. The lives of so many people will have been drastically improved, and a region of the world that has known nothing but death for as far back as they can remember, may have a chance at realizing the opportunities we take for granted. No, it will have not come without paying a price, but the most important things in life don’t come free. We were going to pay a price no matter which option we chose, and if it is successful, then the cost will have been significantly less than what we would have paid in the long run.

You should count the dead civil irakian people. But with every dead US-soldier the chance of stopping the war will grow.
20 June 2005, 12:06
Good point, let us all pray that 150,000 US soldiers get popped soon, so that the whole thing will be another lesson probably not learned by the US but at least it will be over.

BAD NEWS EVERYBODY - Gasoline is soon $100/barrel and your jobless ass will starve in the streets, but still it’s worth it so that Bush can get to kill more a-rabs than Daddy did, RIGHT?
GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY - 14 less scum on the face of the Earth, let’s hope it can soon be made 140,000 and a severe lesson for US imperial ambitions.
Good work Iraqi Resistance, Honourable and Brave Homeland Defenders ! Onward to Victory!
