    This is an amusing web site. I was looking for information on Iran and found this.

    try this on for size. The Iranian government is a radical Shia Theocracy and has no formal embassy relationship with the United States. The Clerics in Iran are not much appreciated by the people in Iran who find their lives miserable and threatened by the policies of the clerics who dominate the country. Real Democracy does not exist in Iran. Iran has about half the physical war making capacity that Saddam Hussein had. Saddam lost his country in about three weeks to the Americans.

    Now Iraq has a new government and the Iranians can as well. Russia will hardly participate in a war with the United States to save Iran. That wont happen. The Russians will step back and get out of the way of the United States. If the United States attacks Iran Russia will be a bystander. There will be no help from Russia.

    The United States hardly needs to take ALL of Iran. All the United States need to do and can do it in lesss than a week and a half is send two Heavy Armored Tank Divisions across the Border of Khuzestan Province and collect the entire place in four combat days. The US has six AirCraft Battle fleets to establish air superiority over the entire body of Iran. Iran is completely surrounded by Ubited States military bases. The Russian Republics have bases for our troops and our long range bombers, the B-1 and the Stealth squadrons. We can move a Division up to the Afghan Border and cut Iran off from there. We can land Marines all along the Iranian coast in quick raids to cut roads , interdict communications and disrupt rail and airfields.

    The Nuclear Reactor at Bushehr is ESSENTIAL to the Iranian production of Nuclear Fuel enrichment. Without that one big piece of very valuable equipment the Iranian government can not produce weapons grade Plutonium from enriched Uranium. No matter how well hidden or dispersed the Iranian facilities are they need the Bushehr reactor to complete the development cycle. The United States can take the Bushhr reactor in a single day, two at the most. We can cut the entire peninsula off and be into the Reactor Complex inside of the first twelve hours of the Assault. We know what defense it has and where they are placed, We know what naval facilities are detailed for protecting the facility. Every last one of these can be targeted and destroyed in about three hours. US Marines can take the Reactor Complex in a single day.

    The Khuzestan Province will be cut off from the rest of Iran in less than four days. The facilities and the pumping and Oil loading facilities will all come under the control of the United States. The Citis of Khuzestan will be cut off and reduced by armor and Marines, the best troops in the world. They went though everything Saddam had, they took Afghanistan in days. The Russians couldnt take it in ten years.

    In effect Kuzestan will be occupied and reduced in less than two weks. The only way for Iran to get it back is to come over the Zagros Mountains on narrow mountain roads with whatever Tanksand Infantry the Iranian military can hasten to send. They will be completely exposed to air superiority and Satellite. Picture the Tanks in the Zagros mountain strung out on the mountain road...and here come F-16s armed with JDAM Smart bombs. Not to mention the logistics of supplying a relief army through those mountains while the Americans can supply their forces from Iraq.

    Iran would lose the one essential ingredient for making Nuclear bombs. The United States would not destroy Bushehr they would take it intact. They would also have Iranian Oil by taking Khuzestan and Iran would not be exporting anything to anyone. The US would take the Iranian wallet...every last bit of money that Iran had would be trapped or taken. The Americans would have the Iranian wallet and keys.

    Now let us sit down and talk Peace and an a regime change. If Iran has any "surprises" and seeks to widen the war the United States can start REALLY hurting Iran, rather than "trimming" Iran. We can bomb Tehran flat. We can reach everything everywhere in Iran. Eighty percent of the Iranian population is contained in its northwestern corner. We can reach all of it from our bomber bases. If Iran seeks to continue the war after the second week we can step up the pain and cause you very serious losses.

    You will NEVER get an Atomic Weapon. The United States will declare War on Iran if Iran continues on its present course. We will NEVER tolerate Iran having an Atomic weapon with the present Regime still in power.

    You are looking at a CERTAIN war if you provoke us with a determination to make weapons grade atomic material. And you know we have the power and the will to enforce this. You think the world Opinion will stop us from what we regard as a life and death situation of out United States National Interest? Iran will NEVER be allowed to have an Atomic Bomb. The United States will IGNORE world opinion and it wont save you. That is the bottom line.

    The United States will make sure you never have Atomic weapon capability. If you persist we will break you.
    Bluster and threats will not stop us. World Opinion will never sway us from a realization that Iran which is a terroist supporting Nation is our ENEMY. We are bigger and more powerful than you are and you WILL come to an accomodation or we will hurt you.

    It is as simple as that. Pride and National Honor are worthless to you. Look at the bare naked facts. The United States will never allow you to have an Atomic Weapon with your present Regime in power. You are looking at CERTAIN war if you do not make the right judgement of United States resolution and capacity.

    Allah wont save you. That kind of thinking will get you killed.

    I notice you attack me personally and you have not word one to say about the mechanics of a war with Iran. Hide your head like an ostrich if you like. Do you suppose the redneck you assume me to be is not backed up by the very real capacity and will of the United States? What you are hearing is REALITY.

    George Bush has told you the same thing in more abstract terms. Dick Cheney is smiling behind me. Look deep into his eyes and see if he loves you or Iran. What does Dick Cheney love?

    But to get back to reality. The United States wont do what it says it will do? You said that about Afghanistan and Iraq.

    What did it get you? I dont have to call you names. I have Kabul, I have Baghdad. Come and get them back if you can.
    Tehran will come to an accomodation or Tehran will get a new governement.

    When the war starts and the Iranian government needs troops to send in like they sent the boyz against Saddam....do you suppose the young men of Iran will flock to serve the Mullahs?

    They arent stupid. They want the Mullahs gone. They may not support the Americans but they wont fight for the Iranian regime.

    The Americans will take it and you know it.

    And we can. There is objectively nothing you can do to stop us. With Iran down we do to them what we did to Iraq...they get a new regime and a new government. They become a true democracy and they can talk about a nuclear program with us after that. The EU is going to vote alongside the United States in a short time to impose Sanctions on Iraq and the US will prepare for the Invasion.

    Saying it wont happen or that the United States wouldnt dare is an exercise in futility. We will dare.

    Iran goes in the bag if it thinks we wont.

  If this were true then Israel and the US would suffer from an initial retaliation and extended covert war to destroy the economies of both aggressors.

  The truth of the matter is that Israel lacks the military capability to attack Iran and the US would not dare attack unless it is ready to face a world economic crisis stemming from the cessation of 40% of the world’s oil through the Strait of Hormouz.

  Although Israel and their supporters in Washington would sacrifice the world for Israel, it is clear that others in power will not.

  Iran will have the full nuclear cycle within a few years and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

    President Bush stated Iran and North Korea are ’’Enemies of Freedom’’ and ’’want to take away our freedom, the example we set’’.

    There are 192 Countries in the world, if they all followed the US ’’example’’ and bombed as they have done, 23 countries since WW 2 -there would be ...4416 bombings of countries and probably most of the world incinerated.

    If Iran were so stupid as to challenge the United States with terrorist activity, the United States would issue an Ultimatum to Iran. We can site an Atomic into an empty part of Iran and give you a demonstration. If after the demonstration that we can target ANY part of Iran and you have no defenses whatever we will state our demands and accept your compliance. If you dont We will reduce your cities one by one until you surrender.

    You will not close the Straites of Hormuz. You will open your borders and disarm.

    There will be no Covert anything in regard to the United States. You will comply.

    Iran will NEVER have an Atomic weapon. But if you insist you will see a godawful War and even Allah can go blind from the Flash.

    Iran is the ENEMY of the United States. Iran is a Terrorist sponsor. Iran can not be trusted with an Atomic Weapon. If Iran insists on this possession they will face the United States fully armed and determined to break their flag and take their capability.

    Iran is determined to have a nuclear Bomb. The United States means exactly what it says. The United States is going to declare war on Iran, invade Iran, break their flag, take their present Iranian regime apart and you seem to thing nothing of the sort will happen?

    Do you live in a bag? It can happen. Bush has already told you it can happen. The United States has FIFTY Divisions in its capability. We only need FOUR to take Iran.

    I am sorry but we are perfectly capable of taking Iran and breaking its flag. We are perfectly capable of getting exactly what we want.

    And who precisely will attack the United States if we attack and break Iran? Who?

    Will the Egyptians attack the United States?

    Will the Syrians attack the United States?

    The United States has said that if Iran continues to insist on developing a nuclear bomb capability it will lead to a WAR. We are not joking. We mean exactly what we say. Iran will be cut off at the knees and its flag broken and its sovereignty crippled if it does not come to an agrement with the United States. WE will NEVER allow Iran to have an Atomic. And yes, Suzie Creamcheese, we can do exactly what we say we can do and you better pay attention or we will actually do it. And it will hurt.

    We went through everything Saddam had in weeks. We can do that to Iran if Iran is stupid.

    Saying it wont happen is fantasy land. It can happen and will happen if the United States decides Iran will be a problem. Dont give us a problem.

    Russia and Iran have a mutual defense agreement and it has been reported that Russia has SS-N-22 "Sunburn" missiles stationed in Iran that could turn Tel Aviv into glass should they attack.

    Syria has missiles, and the americans are totally stranded within Iraq.

    The americans took $35 million tanks, the Iraquis waited with $35 rocket propelled grenades.

    The americans, will be the last in a long line of foolish, underinformed invaders who will be perish in the middle east.

    I think the key here is Russia.

    At the last conference between Bush and Putin, Bush was clearly put out.

    Putin had resisted.

    So they don’t know what Russia will do.

    They don’t think Russia will turn nuclear, nor do they think Russia will send in troops to defend Iran, but they are not sure.

    Coupled with the oil crises that will develop if they don’t manage to take over the leadership, and have the people of Iran follow a new government. That also is not certain. Only a month of no oil would see drastic changes to the world’s more wealthy nations.

    I’m saying this is not going to happen. (I hope I am correct)

    Bush needs a bogeyman to keep everyone afraid, and Iran is filling this role right now.

    Why would he want to loose that?

    My bet (and it is a bet) is that much of this Iran invasion is a go stuff is disinformation being planted by Americans working for the government who have nothing better to do than waste taxpayer money.

    But then what is a few million, if you think of the billions being squandered by this bankrupt country.

    Israel knows Russia has much more power (more warheads than the US - some may not work, but many will) if it wants to use that power. Much more power than Israel.

    The United States also knows Russia’s power.

    Maybe we should just let well enough alone , Sadam could still be in power , who cares if the Iranians have nuculear bombs........so what ? Let all the Arab peoples alone , eventually the will kill themselves off for Gods sake , the U.S. doesn’t need to do it . And by the way , the U.S. doesn’t ’ Hate " Iranians , just the bearded fools who control every aspect of their lives . I suppose its all well and good that other countries leaders can call on the destruction and extermination of a race but not the U.S. , wait the U.S. has never done that .     well 198, the most important thing is not to let your emotions totally cloud your judgement because based on your opinions im guessing you live in the US or the UK and the media there will manipulate your emotions to serve their own purpose.
    They way you gain support for war is by deamonizing the other side. lots of people live in Iran happily and peacefully.
    I know that the Mullahs have said some crazy things, but they are backed into a corner and im guessing they are scared. so dont let your fear rule you. War is always something that should be avoided as far as im concerned

    Iranians are NOT Arabs. Iranians are originally Aryan peoples with a 6000 year history and a 2000 year world empire. Arabs are nomads and tribal. Saddam is an Arab and he was crushed.     I agree totally that war is not the answer what so ever . And the Iranian people deserve something different . Many unbiased reports from Iran seem to implicate the Iranian leaders as strict religious figures who are very uncompromising . If they have a problem with Israel , they need to realize Israel’s existence , and that they are a country who is not going away . That’s the number one problem with many Muslim country’s , get over that point and stop indoctrinating your youth to the message of Israel’s destruction . The next point is , the U.S. is not evil , of course they have made many big mistakes , blunders , etc.....through the years , not all of them directed at Muslims or affecting Muslims and Arabs . No human is perfect in this world . The U.S. is not just raping their natural reserves from them , but they do use a lot , but its a mutually beneficial situation . The countries in that region have a commodity the whole world uses , but other countries buy that commodity or barter for that commodity .If there were no oil reserves in that part of the world , and thank God or whomever there are , the development and modernization would be 100 years behind and not just 50 in many cases . The restricted freedoms of Arab countries is appalling to many other countries of the world , freedoms for women , freedom of thought , freedom of religion , there are many repressing instances that are well documented , not just through the U.S. media , that add up to a totalitarian system that breeds anger , that controls individual thought , and with that can come hatred and intolerance for others . If people from the Arab lands , the Muslims could just see a bigger more world view , one of peace and harmony , of acceptance of differences , a lot of problems would be resolved . I myself believe that it’s the religious leaders need to step aside , maybe be consultants , but not run the government and have antiquated laws that do not fit modern society . That permit freedom or just more freedoms for the people who inhabit their countries , just a pipe dream I suppose , but I can always hope .

    The turbans are nothing but lies. Just like the hypocritical Mullahs that send their children to European schools and wear rolexes under their robes. You need to understand that the Black Mullahs might represent Arab lineage but they are still Iranian and most have no linkage at all. They are still doing what needs to be done for Iran’s defense against aggressors. When the Mullahs finally bring Iran back to its rightful place as regional leader, they will be put back in the Mosques where they belong, not in politics.

    In order to build up the strength of a country, strong leadership is required. After that is accomplished, they will be gotten rid of.

    Soldiers of a country are like mirrors of the character and personality of that country. They are an authentic touchstone of the very essence of their unique national character. They are not qoute brainwashed unquote. They really are the sons and husbands and fathers of that country. They fight and do the job they do becuse they have put on that uniform..especially in the United States where the entire military now is PROFESSIONAL and the draft no longer exists. The CHOOSE to be in that uniform and they LIKE the job they do because they are precisely the best men to do that kind of job. They enforce the Policy of the United States government. That is their job. They can get out anytime they want to go back to being civilans and working in a shoestore or selling Linoleum. But they go to Afghanistan and to Iraq and they enforce the policy decisions of what they believe in...the United States. And I will whisper it in your coral tinged delicate ear: They dont give a ratsA$$ if you try and stop them, they will roll right over you and take you anyway.

    We had passed through al-Hayy about a day ago and continued up Route 7 in Central Iraq toward a town called al-Muwaffaqiyah. We were the Recon unit out ahead of the RCT-1. They gave is Warthogs ( A-10s with Gatling Guns) for aircover and backup. They came on behind with Tanks and all the Logistics behind that. We were the tip of the spear.

    Al-Hayy had not been bad. We killed a couple of civilians who sped up and tried to drive through our checkpoint early in the day we cut the town off and bottled it up by setting up a tangle of razorwire on the freeway out of town. . And the first night there the Jihadis and the Fedayeen had tried to run over our roadblock with a big semi Tractor-trailer Truck coming out of town with a squad of Fedayeen aboard determined to do or die. It was exciting for about ten seconds. They all got blown away for their trouble.

    Now we were moving up on al-Muthuhwhacker and it was all to do again. There was a bridge across a Canal into town. The town was beyond the bridge and the town appeared to be about a mile long and about three miles away.. We called in artillery on it but not on the bridge. It was just before dark. Sorry I don’t make the maps. We drove all day and it was getting dark when we came up on al-Muthaflicker, thats all I can tell you.

    The artillery did a fine job on the town. About a third of it was torched by the DPICM rounds coming in on it. They dump 7,000 submunitions all over things in the town like explosive confetti. The Arty boyz fired about 100 rounds and hit the whole place cold. It was burning in the distance when we came up on the bridge listening to the Warthogs on the radio.

    The submunitions don’t all go off when they fall and get scattered all over the town. About a third or so will detonate later or they will detonate if you touch them or handle them. That would make about a thousand of the little peckers waiting for Adrool to comes home after we leave. And welcome back too. Al-Muthahbumper was going to be real home sweet home after we cleared out and went on our merry way.

    But for right now we had to go into town and see if they really did love us in there. After all we had invaded the place and come all this way.

    We were listening to the Warthogs on the radio as I say. They said they had seen some “blobs” in the Eucalyptus trees on the far side of the Canal. That meant they had seen men whose body heat showed up on the night vision screens waiting for us to use the bridge. Do tell.

    We had been staring into the glare of the midday sun all day and now we were watching the last of it sink into the inky horizon as the town flickered and burned across the bridge. And Abdrool was waiting in the Eucalyptus grove over there. Hinky, right?

    We only had a few nightvision sets for the drivers so we gave them to the lead element drivers and brought the Barrett up with the 40 mike mike. We are not really in a big hurry, don’t you know. Night closed in and then closes down. Frogs in the canal. Crickets.

    I am the driver in the lead vehicle. I get the goggles for night vision. The turret behind me in the Hummer has the Barrett. My gunner up there is a good man. The XO is riding shotgun for me. He has a SAW but he has the big baby standing up near the door to the vehicle and is not carrying or touching it. He is a cold man who doesn’t shake easy. My own weapon is my custom job with the silencer and the LASER sights. It looks like Flash Gordon packing for Ming the Merciless…that or some kind of new DVD player with a trigger on it.

    I can hear the XO whistling through his teeth while we sit there looking at the bridge about 8 oclock in the dark . At first I don’t recognize what he is whistling or humming to himself almost silently. Then I know what it is: Gordon Lightfoot, “some times I feel like I am losing when I am winning again.” The man behind me on the Barrett is wondering what the XO is thinking too. He leans close by my ear and asks, “ Whats the news?’ I whisper back to him, “Good news and bad news.” He waits for me to give him the punch line. “ The bad news is we don’t get any sleep tonight, and the Good news is we get to kill people.” He doesn’t laugh.

    The XO takes his foot off the dashboard and quits whistling. He reaches over and touches me on the shoulder. I start the engine and adjust my night vision goggles. No lights. I put the Hummer in gear. The XO says,” take it forward… slow.” We start toward the bridge. It is now a little after 8 at night. Well, time to terrorize the Fedayeen and collect our pay.

    I start up the road about six miles an hour and looking in the night vision goggles. The XO is talking to himself. He says, ”Its been pounded by artillery… I think the chances of a serious threat are low.” Yeah right ,Lieutenant, sell me a new car. I am looking at the bridge. There is stuff on the bridge. Well, Recon is my business. And there it is.

    There is a big piece of something like drainage pipe laid in the road. I slow down and look up on the bridge itself with my goggles. There is an over turned trailer laying on its side in the middle of the bridge. Kill Zone. We drive up on that bridge and they are going to have a Kill Zone. Every classic sign of it.

    The XO sees something even in the dark and he feels me slowing down. “What do you see, “, he asks. I tell him. I stop.

    He is silent. Kill Zone for sure. The blobs in the trees are waiting for us to drive up on the bridge. I glance at the Eucalyptus trees on that far side of the bridge. Screw the bridge, I am watching those trees.

    Behind me I can feel the Barrett gunner shift his feet. Not enough LSA lubricant for the gun . That Mark -19 piece of sh*t keeps going down after you fire a few rounds. He and I were scraping LSA out of a can earlier today and putting it in the mechanism with our fingers while we drove getting that gun ready for tonite. Now here we are outside a hostile town on the edge of a godd*am Kill Zone and the only other heavy weapon besides the Barrett we have is a slow bitch 50 cal on the hummer behind us.

    The XO is debating with himself whether to commit us. We are going to have to engage the muthahs in the Eucalyptus and we cant just drive over that bridge with the trailer blocking it. I look closer at the bridge and the trailer because we are closer now, motor idling. There is a hole in the middle of the bridge from one of the arty rounds. The trailer is sitting in the hole.

    Holes. The story of my wasted life. I hate Iraq. I hate all the Iraqi mutherf*ckers. And I hate this town about three and half miles across on the other side of the bridge. Al_Muwaffahumper.

    The XO asks me what I can see. I tell him. He is silent again. Thinking. Motor idling. No lights. The XO calls in a Cobra strike on the radio it is well past 9 oclock now. The Cobras are over head and streaking in like banshees . The Cobras fire multiple Zuni rockets into the Eucalyptus trees which flash on and off in my NVGoggles like neon signs. The Zunis overshoot the trees. Not good , not good. The detonations are on the far side of the trees. All five of our Recon vehicles are on the very edge of a Kill Zone.

    I determine to turn the vehicle around but the XO growls at me to Stop! Stop! Don’t go off the road they might have mined it. I stop my turn . We are now broadside to the Eucalyptus just across the Canal. I am tired of this.

    It is just coming up about 11 oclock. I get out of the vehicle and take my weapon and look through my ACOG sights. I can see better with this Tritium powered night vision than I can with the govt. issue NVG.

    GOTcha! I can see the men in the trees. “There are people in the trees.” I tell the XO. I lean across the hood of the hummer and sight with the rifle and the scope. The XO relays it on the radio to the other four vehicles strung out on the road behind us. Company acknowledges on their frequency. Behind us the other vehicles empty as the men inside take cover and deploy aiming at the trees. I can hear them murmuring in the clear night air that they see the forms in the trees as well.

    It is only fifteen or twenty feet across the Canal to the trees. Why the Jihadis over there didnt just open up long ago is a huge mystery to me. The Zuni rockets must have been a revelation to them but surely did no real harm. The Jihadis just stayed doggo waiting for us to get up on the bridge ,I would suppose. They wanted it to go all set piece I am guessing of course, and we sat there and they sat there and everybody just sat there. I put the chevron on my scope on one of the figures and slowly squeezed the trigger factoring for bullet impact. CRANK! A metallic sound resounding off the water and the Hummers hood.

    All Hell breaks loose.

    My single round kicks off an explosion of gunfire. Damn! There is a bunker at the side of the bridge and I thought was a revetment. There are a bunch of the little big nosed bastards in there with a crew served machinegun. I can see running figures to the right carrying RPGS. Christ on crutches. Bitch bitch bummer bitch.

    They don’t know we can SEE them. They don’t realize we have NVG capability. They are up and running all over the place across from us on the other side of the canal. Cockroaches in the flashlight. From the angle of where we are in front of the bridge and along the Canal they can hit us from three sides. Christ on Crutches and wheres my hat?

    One of the vehicles switches on a big Laser Target Designator. Since it is Infrared it cant be seen except by people using NVG. The beam bathes the moving Jihadis and we follow it with gunfire. We all aim where the Target Designator strokes their bodies invisibly. The effect is sort of like a one sided Video game. Jihadis are going down as several Marines at the same time focus on them individually cutting them down and going to the next one. Everyone is firing now.

    The Barrett opens up and our 50 Cal besides, all chugging away. The Bunker gets it hard. Forty mike mike and Fifty cal chew the bunker to hell. Kiss me. Thats over fast. Swing the Barrett and the Fifty on the Jihadis running with the RPGs near the bridge. Look at that. They look like they got knocked over like pins in a bowling alley.

    I can feel rounds plinking and thumping, hitting the hummer. I focus on another Jihadi and pull the trigger. Little red dot and a green figure in the scope. Bingo! Next one. Next one. Lead him, lead him. Bingo!

    The XO lets out a yell, he drops to the ground beside me and has hold of his boot. I turn and lean over him. The Jihadis shot him through the lower calf, in an out and a lot of blood. He takes the boot off and there is a lot of blood. He ties a tourniquet on his ankle.

    He is full of so much Adrenaline he doesn’t feel it but he will. He will. No one else has been hit. I sprint to the last vehicle and tell them to pull back. The other vehicles will follow. I dodge back up to the XO and get him into his side of the vehicle. My gunner is still pumping 40mm into the Eucalyptus. I see a man limping on the bridge. I shoot him before I get behind the wheel. There is a loud scraping noise as I begin to turn around.

    Christ NOW what!

    A cable I couldn’t see in the dark. It is tangled in the undercarriage. I couldnt see it in the dark. I get out and find the damn thing while everybody ELSE is going to the rear and I am hung up on some road debris cable for Gods sake. May Allah sh*t Hi,self and be damned. I need a tool to cut the thing. The 40mm is still keeping them off us.

    I look in the tool chest in the Hummer. Wonderful, wire cutters, big ones for use on razor wire. This should take about twenty years if I hurry. There. The XO is shooting his SAW out the window. Whoa, look at that. Got that one poor bastard in a six round burst. His head is gone. Funny what you see in Iraq on a clear Spring night down by the Canal. Just before I get into the drivers seat they pierce the windshield with a bullet hole where my head would have been. I pause for a second looking at the shards of small glass all over my seat. Screw that, time to go.

    We drive to catch up with the others. The XO is lifting his injured foot up on the dash and is on the radio while I drive. He calls in artillery on the tree line and gets another Cobra rocket run on top of that. A tank comes up to give us backup. We pull back about a mile and the Tank used its Chain Gun on the bridge and the Tree line. Hope the Abdrools like American firepower. Eat it with catchup, Achmed.

    I go up to the Tank covering us with the Chain Gun. I ask the gunner on the Tank for a TOW. He looks at me funny but helps me offload one from the four they have. I can hardly lift it but I get it into the hummer. The XO is off loaded into one of the other vehicles and is slated for Medevac. He refuses until it comes daylight. I see him laid out and medicated and I slap my gunner and we get back in the hummer and drive up the road , fast this time. There is nothing but burning trees over there now. I drag the TOW out of the vehicle and give it to the gunner and sit him on the ground to aim the thing. We aim it right at that bunker by the right of the bridge. FLAMES from Hell! Straight into the Bunker like John Holmes cock meat up Priscillas twat.

    There. I feel better. Is it my imagination or do I smell burned meat?

    When it is light and we have had some coffee we drive across the bridge and into town. Hello, Muthafacquiyah. About a third of the town isnt there anymore. The thought that goes through my mind before I head back for the bridge is “ Don’t tell Battalion or they will want us to search this pile of sh*t.” Just tell them the town is secure.

    When I get back to the bridge there are Marines all over the place where the Fedayeen were popping away at us last night. No one examines the Fedayeen very closely. No one checks them for documents or polices up the scattered small arms and weapons they had on them. Everybody is walking around and laughing at how many of them we snuffed and cooked.

    I start picking up AKs and tossing them into the canal. Pretty soon everyone else is doing that also. Policing up the weapons, check. I start looking over the dead systematically. One at a time. Looking closely at every single one of them. Counting them. It turns out we got twenty of the stupid f*cks. They were trying to hide behind these thin burned and broken Eucalyptus trees. No fox holes, no trench. Just hiding behind the trees. Who WERE these puppies?

    One corpse is still holding his AK. He is so stiff in the morning chill that he is like a frozen slab, nothing bends. Rigid as ice. I roll him over. Another corpse still clutches a stick grenade in his fist like a scepter. He died holding it. Who were these cheap tricks?

    None of them are in any uniform. They are dressed like frat boys in watches and street shoes and Aloha shirts.

    I roll another one over. He has I- LUV- U tattooed on his knuckles. I go through his pockets. A Syrian Passport. Well, well, well. There is a two inch section of his right leg missing. He was one of the ones running with the RPG last night. The Fifty cal got him. He bled to death in the dark before the second Cobra strike.

    I look at the passport. He is 26 years old and he has a stub from the Palestine Hotel and his name is Achmed Shahada. He has 500 Syrian pounds and a bottle of prescription painkillers and an entry visa into Iraq . In the handwritten section of the Visa that asks his purpose of visit is one word, “Jihad”. The money is worth about ten bucks . I laugh to myself and throw the money in the dirt by the river.

    Saddam offered these men money or land, or women to come and fight for him. Then the fedayeen drove him and his buddies down here to this intersection and put them off the truck with weapons and told them to Jihad. The Americans are coming up the road, good luck. And Saddams boyz drove off and left these suckers here to do their sorry little pathetic Jihad. Yay, Jihad, Bozo.

    Beaautiful morning. I go over and check the Bunker. Smell that.whaaa. Grease and pork and stuff that once was human. Creosote and dust. I cut a sand bag full of dirt open and empty it on the thing staring up at me in the collapsed hole of the bunker.

    Yay, Jihad. Get some. Makes you want to slurp old Allahs nuts.

    It isnt fiction. It happened. We were one of the first units into Baghdad.

    The incident described was one man of ours shot through the ankle and we killed 20 of theirs...suckers from Syria who were dumped there by the Saddam fedayeen and we killed very last one of them just like I have descibed.

    In microcosm it is a valid mirror of the war.

    Sad? no, I dont think so. War is older than Prostitution...not much in it for the loser. There will always be wars and there will always be Professionals in war.

    The United States is going to go for the next 20 years from one end of the Middle East to the other. And it will be a repeat of Kabul, a repeat of Baghdad, a repeat of Fallujah..... again and again and again. And anyone who wants to Jihad can do his best and we will bulldoze the dead into a big mass grave like we did in Fallujah and dump bags of lime over them before we close the hole with another bulldozer.

    The United States means exactly what it says. Iran will NEVER get an Atomic weapon. And we will do anything to make that happen. Anything. Hiroshima and Nagasaki are a testment to what the United States is perfectly capable of doing.

    If the United States ever felt really threatened...we would kill the entire population of any country that threatened us. We have done it in the past. We can do it again.

    Not fiction. This unit was one of the first to enter Baghdad. the loss of one man shot through the ankle for 20 dead Jihadis is a microcosm of the war as it actually happened. I am the realthing, it isnt fiction

    It happened and is a fact. War is always brutal and painful. It should always be a last resort.

    The United States means what it says. We will NVER allow Iran to have an Atomic Weapon. We have the will and the capability to break Iran and enforce this.

    Supposing that we are bluffing is to ignore Kabul, to ignore Baghdad, to ingnore Fallujah.

    Something else you will have to consider, the United States is responsible for Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We will NOT lose this war.

    We are quite capable of doing anything to win. We will go from one end of the Middle East to the other for the next 20 years and we will bulldoze the dead into mass graves if we have to and dump bags of lime in their eyeless faces...but we will not lose this war. Jihad is dead or else.

I was there to take down Saddam and put a quarter million United States troops in the strategic center of the entire Middle East where we could easily reach anywhere we wanted. Next door to Iran too. Depleted Uranium, oh that. Tankers have that stuff. I been in Bradleys and LAVs, we use Chain guns in the Bradleyy and Bushmasters in the LAVs DU is a rarity.     I will enlighten you concerning killing. A lot of people are professionally into it. They train all day, all week, all year, just to kill people. They are as good as Jesse James and Cole Younger.
    In a normal society only six men in a hundred are capable of doing the killing. Six men in a hundred in a Draftee Army do 80% of the killing. But in a Professional Army the number of killers go way up because everyone is a career soldier. You JOIN the military you are not drafted, if you don’t like it you leave and go back to being a civilian. The men who kill people stay in and the numbers of men who kill people is high. At present we don’t much care for towelies. We like our job.

Iraq isn’t even a war, most of the country 80% is quiet and the fighting is all in small areas and the Insurgency don’t kill Americans they kill THEIR own people. If Iraqis get killed it is a tragedy in the newspapers, but it doesn’t bother the Marines, if you know what I mean. I could stand and smoke a cheap cigarette and watch the Iraqis kill each OTHER all day.

The Greek word translated ‘First’ here is “Protos”, which means: Foremost (in time, place, or order) chief, best. The Greek word translated ‘Man’ here is “Anthropos”, which means: A Certain Man, Human Being. So, 1Corinthians 15:45 really says “The Foremost (Chief) in order of Human Beings, Adam was made a living soul”. Adam was NOT the First Human, just the First Human Formed for a special Purpose!

    I saw some guys///" Islamed ///"once. A new word usage for you.

    There is this town in Iraq called al-Hayy. There is a real modern freeway highway right north of the town. It was strategic. The overpass right outside of town was strategic. Big highway. We didnt know that Saddam wasnt going to come barreling down there with an Iraqi Division on that big modern highway. So we naturally had to take the place and hold it.

    We came rolling in the Ist MarDIV my people late one night after taking a dump called Ash Sharrah the day before. We had A-10s ( Warthogs with Gatlings ) to back us up and we had long range artillery. We got out of our vehicles in the dark and strung a big range of razor blade concertina across the overpass and we dug in. We could see the Warthogs setting fire to al-Hayy with Thermite bombs which were doing pretty airbursts over the town.

    The RCT-1s were advancing on the city from the south and we were blocking the superhighway to the north. There was a canal on the west side of town and out there our convoys were bypassing everything and headed for Baghdad. The Iraqis fired off a big salvo at us from a BM-21 but they didnt know exactly where we were and it just dug holes in the sand and we were expecting to nod off and get some Zs.

    Which brings me to the guys we ///"islamed///". This was on March 31st. The rest of the battalion is spread out toward the Canal and over to another road called Route. 7 on the map. Go look it up. We set up our guns to cover the overpass.The ground is saturated with salts, there is a white crust over the mud. The place is barren big time. No crops in THIS crap. We got a town of 50,000 bottled up. No one goes in or out of here unless they pass under our guns. al-Hayy is two miles away. Screw em. All around us the moonlight on the salt flats.

    Now that Italian commie b*tch that got zapped, Smegma something, that means dickcheese in I-talian...comes to mind. She tried to run a roadblock at sixty miles an hour. Fat lot of good it did her.

    The fedayeen in the town of al-Hayy decide they will try our roadblock out so they get a big Semi Tractor trailor and they come barreling down on us doing 70 mph just about midnight. The whole thing is full of jihadis wanting to die. Ya Allah.

    We see the thing coming and we fire a burst of fifty calibre tracers to give them the message. Their choice. They dont HAVE to keep coming. But they are jihadis, not too bright. The lieutenant says, ///"light em up!///"

    The Jihadis pour on the coal and you can hear the engine growling diesel. Here they come. The Jihadi is pulling on the air horn like a bugle. The lieutenant says it again real loud,///"LIGHT the F*cker UP!///" SO Everybody does it.

    Under the ROE ANY vehicle that fails to stop at a roadblock is toast. You can demolish the twinkys. The whole platoon opens fire. We cant even slow this wacko down, hell we cant even shoot out his headlights. Five six xeconds of shot going out and he is still coming hell bent and be damned straight for the concertina and our slugs rattling the whole frame and still he keeps coming. Five or six seconds is a LOT of time when you are shooting at a twenty plus ton truck bearing down on you full steam.

    Horn blaring and picking up speed, tracers smacking into the thing...barret 40mm hitting all around the thing lighting up the road and the moonlit night. Allah coming fo yo pink panty clad fanny. Yowsah!

    Just before reaching the Concertina wire the vehicle jacknifes. Somebody managed to hit the driver. He is jello and his head is shot completely off inside the cab.The whole thing in there is painted with the guy and dripping. A half dozen fedayeen jump out of the truck and are packing AKs. They cant see us in the dark but all of us are wearing night vision goggles. We cut them down cold as ice... methodically pumping three round bursts into each of them. Then as it gets quiet one Marine finally FINALLY shoots out the trucks headlights.

    Later the lieutenant finds that the Barret jammed. Mark 19 piece of crap. It jams everytime we used it in a firefight. Beautiful thing, shoots 40 mike mike grenades like a squirt gun...except it jams a lot. What it needs is a lot of LSA lube and we didnt bring any with us to Iraq. Live and learn.

    Anyway all the jihadis got ///"Islamed///". They are going to blow up like FAT black balloons by this time tomorrow.

    So that is the new vernacular usage for snuffing fedayeen...they get ///"islamed///" If you mess with the US marines you get islam-ized. Is you been islamized?

    You may wait for hours to make a kill. It is hunting pure and simple. You have the tools for hunting. You know your tools. You have the best tools that you can get. You think about how to improve your tools for killing. You have hours every day to silently watch and to think about the shot and about the tools and how to improve your chances of making that kill. You focus. You concentrate. You want to make the shot. You want to kill that Jihadi.
    You watch and you wait. You want it.
    You see movement. There. You watch. You monitor your breathing. You are patient.
    You work day and night. You have laser sights that the Enemy can not see. You can see exactly where the bullet will hit. The shot is so accurate that you can cut a five millimeter steel wire at 300 yards. The laser makes it happen. The laser puts a small spark of red light exactly where the bullet will impact in the crosshairs of the scope.
    The Jihadis never see it coming. They never hear the shot. Even in the dark you can see them from their body heat. They glow with their own body heat and the sight sees them in the cooler surroundings. Sometimes you can see them even hidden inside foliage or behind thin walls.
    Sniping — killing an enemy from long distance with one shot — has become a significant tactic for Marines in this ’’Sunni Triangle" cities as three battalions skirmish daily with armed insurgents who can find cover among the buildings, walls, and trees. If you see a man carrying a gun, that is a no-no. If you see someone breaking the curfew, that is a no-no. If you see someone entering the restricted perimeter especially in the dark, that is a big no-no. You don’t give them any warning…you kill them quietly. Tap tap and send them to Allah.
    Marine sniper teams are spread in and around the Iraqi cities and villages, they are out every day and every night around the Marine military bases and positions., working night and day, using powerful scopes, thermal-imaging equipment, and modified bolt-action rifles that allow them to identify and target armed insurgents from 800 yards or more.
    The snipers work in pairs and keep records while they work. One man spots and the other makes the kills. Tomorrow they may switch places. They practice security constantly and they vary their “hides”, the places where they wait to make their kills. They always move after they make a kill. The enemy has snipers also.
    One of the very best games is when snipers hunt snipers. That is where you make a name for yourself. If you kill other snipers you know you are the best and so does everyone else.
    The man who is a sniper is recruited by other snipers usually. In 100 men there are maybe six who make most of the kills. Six men in a hundred make 85% of the kills in a fighting unit. Snipers are always looking for those six men. Snipers want to talk to that man. Of the six there will be one who might want to become a sniper. He can be asked to join the snipers and become a spotter. From there he may be given a chance to make a shot and score a kill. He can bust a cherry that way. That is what we call making that first confirmed and deliberate kill. “Busting a cherry.”
    Every single man in the Sniper unit is a killer. It has to be that way. Some of them have killed several times. There are at present several men who have killed hundreds of times..deliberately, methodically. There are lots of men who have killed multiple times…dozens of times. It is what they do.
    Weapons change, but the goal of the sniper remains the same: harass and intimidate the enemy, make him afraid to venture into the open, deny him the chance to rest and regroup.
    The Marines say their snipers have killed hundreds of insurgents, although that figure alone does not accurately portray the significance of sniping. A sign on the wall of the sniper school at Camp Pendleton, Calif., displays a Chinese proverb: ’’Kill One Man, Terrorize a Thousand."
    Unlike most Marines, the sniper sees the enemy before shooting. The enemy has a face.
    Most combatants get only a glimpse of their enemies. The distance is too great, the firing too rapid. But the sniper, with time to set up the shot, sees the victims more clearly through a powerful scope: their faces, their eyes, the weapons in their hands. And their expression when the bullet hits ’’their center mass."
    You have to have a combat mind-set. It isn’t for everyone.
    I particularly remember a Palestinian who used to hide in a crowd of kids thinking he was safe there. This Palestinian hiding behind a crowd of children used to shoot at the Marine position and got to be annoying. So the platoon Gunny sergeant called in a specialist to deal with the Palestinian sniper. The Specialist was a Marine Sniper, an older man who specialized in killing other snipers.
    The older man went out at night and made a “hide” in a pile of rubble. He waited there for two days very patiently for the Palestinian. He saw the man send the kids out first and then come out himself to make a few shots surrounded by the kids who thought he was “cool”.
    The Specialist used a sound suppressor and made the shot at approximately 350 yards. None of the children were harmed. The bullet hit the Palestinian right in the center of his face, about the upper lip. His whole head vaporized in a red mist and the body went down like it had been sledgehammered. The kids took a few seconds to react and then they all disappeared.
    Game over.
