$9 Billion lost, Halliburton Looting, and Bush wants $82 Billion more?

Edito Wars and conflicts Governments USA

The United States interim government, the CPA, run by Paul Bremer, and Dick Cheney’s
firm Halliburton have been shamed by whistleblowers documenting blatant fraud.
The whistleblowers have provided evidence of massive, systematic (ie intentional)
fraud at Halliburton. The US Inspector General just reported $9 billion is missing,
the CPA lost it - no trace of it whatsoever - yet Bush and his lapdog Congress
want our children to pay
$82 billion more for this illegal and immoral war.
The $82 billion for the war amounts to: Should we keep pouring money into a corrupt
system, or should we investigate and fix the system? Think about the fraud described
below, and ask yourself, "Why isn’t
there an investigation?"
Halliburton has over-charged at least $61 million in gas, employee rosters were
’off’ by
8,000 employees, and they systematically
took advantage of
cost-plus contracts to milk the system.
The interim gov’t run by Bremer, the CPA, was just as bad, if not worse. The
CPA lost $9 billion, half of it Iraqi oil money. One person with an excel spreadsheet
was in charge of all CPA accounting. CPA practices included directing purchases
to ’preferred suppliers’ and stuffing
gunnysacks with

$100,000
cash bricks to pay the bills. Whistleblowers have accused CPA (US gov’t)
officials of asking for $300,000 bribe money. Controlling both houses of Congress,
the
Republicans hold the keys, yet they refuse to investigate.

A helicopter was loaded with 12 tons of cash bricks, $1.4
billion that never arrived at the
bank. For this kind of work, Bush awarded Paul Bremer a medal of freedom.
This photo is from
a US soldier that took part in a similar operation to Irbil, Iraq:
One
of our larger transport helicopters moved $1.6 billion in funds to the central
bank in Irbil for reconstruction efforts. Each of these ‘bricks’ is US$100,000!
We filled two of these helicopters full (CH-47 Chinooks)-it was too heavy a load
for my smaller assault helicopters to
carry (over 12 tons).
Is this soldier’s letter describing the same transaction as the lost $1.4 billion?
I don’t know, but if not- how many billion dollar helicopter loads of cash bricks
were delievered to this bank in Irbil?
Doing the math on the packing slip from the picture, $64 million multiplied by
37 pallets equals $2.4 billion, a billion more than the
lost load. Could this be one of the missing billion?
The evidence above is bad enough, but to top it off-
Halliburton has been: in
charge of pumping Iraq’s oil,
and lo and behold: the
meters were broken!!!
At the start of the war Halliburton received a contract to put out the oil well
fires, only later was it revealed that this contract also gave Halliburton the
rights to pump the oil.
Now two years later we find that nobody knows how much oil has been pumped
out of Iraq by
Halliburton. Given the systematic fraud already uncovered, do you really
think the broken meters are pure coincidence? What better way to make money hand
over fist, all the while the oil prices are sky high. Where is the investigation?
The Republican lemmings in Congress ought to be
prosecuted for criminal negligence.
The Halliburton
corruption scandal is exactly like the 2000 and 2004
Election Fraud scandals- the media didn’t cover it, so ’it never happened’.
People that discuss news stories not reported by the mainstream news are ’conspiracy
kooks’.
Wake up America.
US soldiers have not had enough armor plated vehicles or even bulletproof vests
while Halliburton has systematically ripped us off in
Iraq. Where is the outrage!
Cheney is still paid
$1 million per year by Halliburton and he has 433,333
Halliburton stock options. Somebody please just say it, on tv- the Cheney-Halliburton
connection is a conflict of interest-
and it is rather obvious that they are feeding at the trough at our expense.
Why isn’t there an investigation?
It seems that Congresspeople are either in on it, or they’re afraid of those
in power. What other logical explanation is there for this documented fraud receiving
no investigation. Instead Bremer received a medal of freedom and Halliburton
new contracts and a bonus.
What a joke... and Bremer, Cheney and Halliburton are laughing all the way to
the bank.
The joke’s on us America.

We’re lazy Americans, and if Big Brother isn’t knocking on our door personally, Americans don’t care. The two party system is archaic...Republican and Democrat politicians dance the Potomac two-step to their advantage. Who do these clowns represent?
A Government By The People, Of The People and For The People........
They steal our money, but it’s through the I.R.S., again, people plod on.....
Please wake up America!
